Sooo incredible. Perfect temps, great scenery, pretty easy hike too. Took the whole fam and kids had no trouble making the hike carrying their own packs. Their ages range from 7 to 12. Also had some fun little trails for us to explore in the morning around the lake too.

Nice view but really tracked out and muddy

This was a wonderful hike. The trail is well maintained and easy to follow. I did use the app to make sure we chose the right trail at one point. We were with a couple who wanted a shorter hike and this delivered but still offered an amazing view at the top. Parking can sometimes we tough but we happened to get one of the last spots. Parking on the road is not allowed. I’ve hiked in this area a lot and this is one of my favorite hikes because of the views. They are beautiful all along the way and especially on top of the peak! Highly recommended if you aren’t looking for something too strenuous.

I did this hike last weekend while visiting for a race and it was absolutely beautiful. The climb is steep in areas but well worth the view of the lake at the top! It took us about 4 hours and that included stops for pictures and hanging out around the lake soaking in all the views! So glad I did this hike while visiting, it was especially magical with the fall colors!

Hiked this trail in January and it was covered in snow. Amazing hike. We accidentally went up a side path and went the wrong way, which was easy enough to figure out when we saw some skiers coming down it. Stay to the left lol
This hike is super easy even in the snow. Had a blast and the little falls that’s at the end was worth the little hike there.

Was fun to hike as a kid. We would do it at night so it was not as hot. The morning was very cold until the sun came up. At which time we had hiked to the silver shed on top. What a beautiful view of Utah valley. I will never for get coming down the glacier and enjoying the ride to Emerald lake. Was a lot of fun with my brother and friends.

Steep as hell but very rewarding. Lake Blanche is breathtaking and there are two more lakes with a gorgeous backdrop within a few hundred yards. About half the trail is shaded, the water level of the lake is super low in the fall so you can walk around the whole thing pretty quickly.

hey was a nice beautiful hike today. This is definitely a hard level hike. Don't let anybody fool you thinking this is an intermediate hike you need to be in good shape and be ready to rock. Definitely bring good shoes as there is a lot of rocks and this Trail has a steady incline and will test your Fitness level.

Good little hike with a waterfall at the end - entrance fees waived by a National Parks pass.

Easy trail, somewhat protected with a gentle ascent, barely noticeable once you are on the trail. Only tricky part is getting down to the creek just before you get to the falls. Rocks are a little slick and you just need to be careful. Crossing the creek is easiest if you just get your shoes a bit wet. Gala are gorgeous and be really careful if you decide to head up to the falls.

What an amazing hike. Wasn't too difficult, the effort is well worth the steepness. Will get up there earlier to summit. but overall fun hike, amazing views

Completely breathtaking scenery. After hiking mount Olympus this was a piece of cake. I think it should be rated as moderate.

Great hike. Amazing views of the entire Wasatch range, including Timpanogos to the south. A word to the wise: pay attention once you summit. I ended up going down the west side of the mountain and got stranded and had to be airlifted out. Also start early. I’m sure I could have hiked out of the next canyon if I had enough light, but after dark I wasn’t taking any chances. Stay safe my friends.

Not my favorite hike, but it’s nice. It’s a pretty busy trail but the waterfall at the end is fun.

It’s a pretty steep and rocky trail but a beautiful hike. I wish I had worn shoes with more ankle support. It was a little longer than anticipated but it is something you can spend the day on.

amazing hike. it was 17 miles though... def not 13.9. beautiful, great weather, great trail. loved it!

This one is a fun and everyday type hike. Beautiful views of downtown and the two mountain ranges. Also, at the peak there is great history of the landscape of the valley and how the city was developed overtime.

Tough hike but so very worth it for the views!

Great hike. We had to go up the “gulley” since a marvelous full grown bull moose decided to block the trail. There was no way to convince the big guy to move.

Hiked this trail on 9/10/18. Steep but levels off in some parts. Ends in the field with fantastic views all around.

So beautiful but for sure a doozy! Comparable to Squaw Peak if you’ve done that hike. Loved the views!

Worth the struggle

Let’s be clear and say that leaving your orange peels, pistachio shells, and Cheerios is not Leave No Trace. Please plan ahead or put that stuff in your backpack!

On a positive note, it was a fun hike that takes about an hour and a half each direction at a quick pace.

This is a pretty fun trail! It's more exposed than other long hikes (for example, Timp), so it's not as beautiful vegetation-wise, but there are some trees and the leaves have started to change, and there are of course some great views. My favorite part was the rock scramble at the top. The overall hike wasn't as hard as I expected. Although it's steeper than Timp, it's a lot shorter, so that makes it a little bit easier. I drank the last of my 2 liters just as I got to the bottom. It took us 3.5 hours up and 3 down, which I'd say is on the slow side for someone in decent hiking shape.

Great hike. Good to start early if possible. Steep climb. Good hiking shoes and plenty of water are advisable. There are many good spots for pictures. I took my camera, hammock, and day pack and spent the day around the lakes.

It took me 20 minutes at a moderate pace to go up and a little more than 20 minutes down. It's a bit rocky in some places, so if you're not confident on your footing, it feels slippery. It seems to always be crowded at the top.

very fun the donut was a hike to get to though.

"Bang for the buck," the best views available along the wasatch front considering the effort you make to get there. The trail is mostly shaded and this makes the fall colors amazing along the way. This is a very popular hike so weekends are busy and parking can be the biggest challenge. The trail is somewhat difficult if you don't either hike or workout regularly. Bring a lunch and enjoy the views at the lake.

Great hike for those who want superb valley views while getting a definite workout. The trail is steep and mostly sun exposed so it's best to hike earlier in the morning during late spring to early fall. Take plenty of fluids with you and pace yourself. The last mile is the steepest part of the trail. The views on top are really good if you complete the final rock scramble to the top. Be careful as you ascend this section. The views from the saddle below the summit are still really good so don't feel badly if you stop there. I hike Mt. Olympus a lot so I generally go to the saddle only. This is one of the perfect hikes for a great workout with valley views.
