on Delicate Arch Trail

Great hike. Easy going at the start with a little challenge on the last leg due to ice and snow. Sand and groomed trail to start, changing to rock midway and then back to mixed sand and rock at the end. Short ledge section at the final part.
Wonderful views both of the arch and the surrounding valleys. Haven't hiked in a while so it was a longer trip than it might normally be. Very worth it, especially since we were the only people there at the time (mid January).

Very steep hike so I recommend using poles. The view at the top is great. If you don’t like climbing hills I would not recommend (definitely going to feel this one the next few days!). The view at the top is amazing. Back down we mostly ran with a few falls here and there, but it was very fun.

Parking lot was not super large, recommend getting there early. This was almost more of a scenic lookout than a hike. Took about 10 minutes to walk down and 10 to walk back. Lots of bathrooms which were pretty well maintained. Great stop during our long day drive.

Really cool trail! Lots of good scenery, and a brewery waiting at the other end for ya! Trail was super icy, but crampons save the day. Will definitely go back for a summer hike, this way we won’t have to walk the road back due to the lack of daylight. Definitely moderate.

Very easy walk. Beautiful Canyon views!

Nice view, super easy hike and was pretty empty early on this time of year.

Super easy trail.

great hike. awesome views throughout. good elevation after first mile. we hiked to the second pool and we had it all to ourselves

Fairly easy, well trafficked even in winter. Nice views looking up! Some small streams to cross and one spot with scrambling in the winter. Best spots are after the lake when it gets quiet!

This was one of the best hikes we've done in Tucson! The trail is pretty flat/sandy until you reach the montrose pools, then the the trail becomes more rugged and steep to the romero pools from there. My boyfriend and I are pretty experienced hikers, the hike took us ~1.5 hrs to get to romero pools and ~1 hr back to the parking lot. From the parking lot, you'll go across a small stream then take a left at the first trail marker, up a small hill, which starts the flat/sandy piece of the trail. The trails are clearly marked from there. Bring water and snacks and explore around the pools to find your own personal oasis!

Hiked in June 2018. Have to say this is one of my favorite hikes. Not too difficult. Made it to the top in an hour and a half and got to see all the amazing views of the surrounding landscape. One of the best views of the lake is from the top and the that’s 1/4 mile is a fantastic walk across a long ridge overlooking the lake on one side and eastern Oregon on the other. Such an amazing hike would strongly recommend during the summer!

I did this hike w my 11 yo son and it was just enough. The views at the beach are spectacular! Very easy except for the last descent to the beach where one has to use the traction assistance of a rope due to erosion and mud. Added just enough excitement for my son. We found this trail while visiting during the NPS shutdown and glad we did.

Crowded, nice walk and views. Some trails not shown on the maps are not open to the public and they’re fun to explore.

Great trail in great shape. One of my favorite hikes. I will say this it is straight up. 46 degrees at the parking lot and ice and snow in spots near the end of the trail. If you aren’t in at least average shape you should avoid this hike.

Nice trail, beautiful canyon and pools. Horses may NOT use this trail and is not suitable for them unfortunately.

Real easy trail and a great view. A must do if in the area.

Pretty easy hike to see something that I have only seen in many photos. Very beautiful.

Okay, it is windy. But it is an easy trail with views for days. Really amazing - esp. at sunset!

This hike was very enjoyable. There was a lot of varied foliage, which I found very interesting. We did the hike in late fall, which was perfect with the color changes to some of the trees. We saw a tarantula (almost stepped on it), so be careful. We also saw one of those fire moths? Can’t remember the name, but also supposedly very painful to get stung by. We saw deer all over. The trail was fairly easy to follow, be sure not to walk over the stone barriers that people have made. Devils hall was worth going all the way to the end of the canyon. I also found the wind interesting in this area. The ranger said that the winds and weather can be unpredictable, so be prepared for wind.

Beautiful views of the valley. We used this loop in August as a leg-stretch the day after we did Half Dome. Flat and very easy, and you can do whatever parts of the loop you want to do and make it however short or long you want, really.

Pretty trail in winter.

The guides kinda just rush you through. The canyon is gorgeous but I didn't get to really take it in.

Absolutely beautiful. Might be the most gorgeous view in the mid west. At the peak of the dune looking out it looked like the Pacific Ocean. I knew Michigan had sand dunes but this particular spot is breathtaking. *bring sunglasses and flip flops* maybe bug spray depending on the season.

1/10/17 great scenary for sunset. quick and easy. parking can be limited. would recommend due to ice on other trails at Zion.

This is a get your picture and leave type of hike. Compared to Corona and Bowtie, it was meh. The arch itself is awesome. The hike up is nothing special. At the top, you’re met with a whole bunch of people with little hiking ettiequte. People perched under the arch making it impossible to get a photo and groups of people talking and yelling.

An all around better option is Corona and Bowtie. The drive there is AWESOME! The hike is so freaking fun and the arch is just as spectacular.

You have to see Delicate arch when you come to Utah, but definitely don’t do this as your only arch hike!

Hard but worth every step‼️Absolutely beautiful❤️

Fairly steep route (1,000 feet gain/mile) but the trail's in good shape and well-groomed. A couple of trees down that little ones will need help getting over.

Crowded with fitness hikers, families and folks w/ dogs.

Met one hardy soul who was starting his third lap of the day(!).
