Magical. Snow was packed well and conditions were windy but perfect.

Completed this yesterday in awesome conditions! With sunshine, the trails were starting to melt and re-freeze a bit, so they were slippery in some areas. Be careful. Well-tamped down snow for the most part, but you NEED SNOWSHOES as the day went on and we travelled down, people unprepared had really damaged the trail with post-holing.

Well broken, beautiful views along the way. I started at 4am, hiked under the stars, and had a beautiful sunrise through low clouds that lit up the valley. Got it done in 4 hours 10 minutes.

Hiked yesterday. Trail was beautifully packed down. Easy walking. Felt like a different planet at the summit. Was glad we were prepared with plenty of layer. Exposed skin was quickly wind burnt. Saw a man hiking in jeans and no snow shoes.

Very broken in at this point, microspikes would do just fine. Get ready for some steep climbs near the summit but also some dopeee BUTT SLIDING

Make sure you stretch before getting far from the car because there isn't much of a "warm up"...starts out just as others had described! It wouldn't be a bad idea to pull a sled up the first mile and leave it at the top of the old t-bar line to make the end of the descent a lot of fun! Trail was in great shape although snow boulders from the trees had started to fall by the afternoon (-7 at the start and 24 at the end)...warmer temps on the way!

Trail is broken. Snowing lightly throughout hike. Views throughout the trail. Foggy up top. So so much fun sliding down! Took us a little over 5 hours to complete.

Took a short, 2 mile hike today on the north side of Sander's Rd. hitting Pt. R, Q, N, M and back to the parking lot. Trail was packed down snow/ice. Snowshoes would have been OK, but we stuck with micro spikes. Trails in very good shape, not too many post holes.
