Great trail, decent work out & pretty well trafficked. Better than I expected. Recommended!

You can’t park at Camp Seeley exactly, but if you keep driving past it where the heart rock trail sign points, you can park on the dirt turnouts along the road. I don’t believe any parking pass was needed. The trail itself was beautiful, I loved the way the trees smelled and it wasn’t crowded at all considering I went later in the day. It’s a very easy trail with a really beautiful treasure at the end.

It’s a very short and easy hike until you get to the bottom of the falls and cross the water if you want to get up closer to the falls. Climbing those rocks can be a little steep but manageable for most people. There was quite a few bits and pieces of trash on this trail and at the falls. When I got to the top there was a group of young males smoking weed and leaving their trash behind. I guess easier hikes attract this type of crowd. Don’t forget your $5 adventure pass(got mine at local big 5). There was a free dirt parking lot behind the paved parking lot but I didn’t know if it would be okay to park there even though the toll booth was closed? Not sure, but better to be safe.

Very nick nature trail. Lots of water and rocky terrain. Fun day!

Finally did this hike, it’s been on my list of hikes for some time now. Overall it’s probably 1-2 hour hike. There were some dicey spots on this trail mainly where the rock slide areas are. Great for kids and dogs. Did this one with my dog and he did fine with the exception of dicey spots.
One recommendation is do this one early morning so you can beat the crowd. I was fortunate enough to get there when no one was around the mine. I was able to relax take some good shots and just enjoy the natural environment, sounds and fresh air.

In addition you will need an adventure pass. If you haven’t purchase one yet spend the 20-30$ to get a pass for the whole year.

this hike was stunning The Greenery was unbelievable and the waterfall was the Coupe de gras an easy hike it's a must for beginners we will definitely come back again

Most of the hike consists of walking carefully on top of rock but the destination is worth it. Good workout as well.

This hike starts on a steep dirt fire road. Heading east up the canyon. Once out of the canyon the hike levels out. Good views can be had of LA. The trail is very popular, we saw many people out on the trail. The Hollywood Sign was the highlight of the hike.

I’d say it was pretty good. Easy uphill almost like the concrete of Runyon but in dirt so you can actually take regular sneakers. No need for hiking boots. It was a total 4 miles up and done so it’s not so bad. When you are close to reaching the Hollywood sign taking the holkyridge trail do rent horses so expect poop smell lol. Parking was very easy to find at 4:30pm and it was not busy at all like the weekend.

Beautiful views and a fun trail with enough variation to keep the hike engaging. The mine itself is a great reward at the end of the journey.

Great trail. Says easy but I would rate it moderate.

Great hike the only down side is that parking is very limited especially on weekends, get there by 6!

This was a great hike! Nice view and a great workout.

Great hike , get there early parking is limited. We parked 1/4 mile down hill. Mostly shaded hike, not much to the waterfall. The last part of hike coming back is all uphill so be prepared. Will definitely be back.

Great trail. Perfect for our 5 and 6 year old daughters. They loved it.

I was wrong! Just a short walk to the store and the Goats! Then on to the falls. Happy

I’m walking up and down the road. The park at 9 was Completely full. They said get here by 6 on weekend. still great!
I’ll make Thursday my hiking day

Perhaps a little more challenging than expected for a 4.3 mile easy hike, but mostly due to our lack of acclimation to the altitude and a good elevation gain. The trail itself is well maintained, so that makes it easy. Great birdwatching and had the trail mostly to ourselves (in April, Easter Sunday). Wanted to add a loop on the PCT but had lunch and a nice rest at the campground instead. Park at the day use area on the south side of highway, Adventure Pass required.

We were in San Diego for a conference and stopped in the evening. A bit busy but everyone had there own thing going: yoga, surfing, dog walking, photography. Stayed to watch the sunset of course- was not disappointed.

A gorgeous overlook of the ocean at sunset, but not so much a hike.

This use to be an awesome place to swim but douche bag idiots have destroyed it with trash and graffiti. Such a shame.

Hike was great. My kiddos had an amazing time. Dog was also enjoying nature. Will definitely do it again.
