Great views and really good route. Very easy to follow. We’re a few slips on the way but it’s that time of year
Down the bridle way part of the walk, someone has churned up the mud with what looks like quad bike tracks. This has made deep ridges and furrows which are very muddy and slippery, so just be prepared if it has been raining with good walking equipment.
Enjoyed it
It was a lovely walk, just the 1500m on the last stretch was a little dull. When we got back to the car, we managed to have a brew and a bit of cake in the snow! Very magical.
Very pleasant walk with some good views. As other reviews have mentioned, it can be very muddy in places, not enough to be a problem for a well equipped walker but I wouldn't attempt it with a pushchair.
A tad boggy around the fields and a few puddles along the tracks, but it is December! Overall an easy route to follow and pretty scenic.
fab walk but a little bit muddy so be prepared to slip and slide a little!
Lovely circular walk, good directions given in the waypoints and easy to follow. Very muddy at this time of year (December) but the views make up for it.
Really nice trail, and a fair bit of time you’re able to let the dogs off the lead. Bit boggy in areas though because of the time of year. However, we pushed through! Couldn’t find any parking in Fulletby, so parked down in Belchford instead.
Very muddy in places but really good
great little loop. November afternoon after a heavy downpour so was very muddy - fine with wellies. grass tracks and stone tracks. beautiful views over fields. dogs loved it.
great walk, a little muddy in places but rewarded with a great view near the end.
really lovely walk. the best part was the 1st 3 quarters, the last quarter we were walking along the road we drove to to get to the car park. although a lovely quiet road would still have been nicer without so next time we will either turn back when we get to the road (but then it's not a loop) or do the walk backwards and walk on the road first and therefore saving the best till last
Gentle walk, very muddy in parts, so decent boots or wellies required. As part the route is a public bridleway watch out for motorised vehicles sharing the route. The road back to Woolsthorpe through Fanny Woods was quite busy with cars.
Very muddy but very nice walk. Field of cows and sheep at the end. Included a bit of everything.
Good walk, parked on the outskirts of the village. Directions were spot on. Stopped for a quick pint at the blue Bell. Very easy to follow.
Lovely walk with great views, no steep hills and not too strenuous. Couldn’t park at the car park suggested as it was full so started from Curbar car park instead which was easy enough. Would highly recommend the Bridge Inn in Calver for half way drinks!
