No dogs allowed. Was disappointed about that!

One of the best hikes I’ve ever done! Beautiful views and tons of options. Would love to go back and do a trail run next time!

We are visiting from Missouri staying here for the week. This was the first trail we did. It was a beautiful morning hike up the Appalachian Trail through the snow. Loved it! Great views, forest and rock outcroppings are amazing, air clear and crisp! Came back down the fire road.

Love this trail. So so beautiful. The California coast is hard to beat. Trail is very easy, but well worth it!

We did this in a few inches of snow, which definitely slowed it down. It made the hike really fun and pretty so would recommend. Hiking in the snow actually means less mud and mess but definitely need to be careful with you’re footing. We aren’t experienced hikers but pretty fit and this took us 2hours 45. I’m sure on a dry day it wound have been a lot quicker, more like a 2-2:15.

We went clockwise around this trail and I think I would do the same if doing it again. The ascent clockwise is longer but more gradual. The descent then was pretty steep but nice and quick. Doing it clockwise means you have done the majority of the trail when you see the lovely views at the peak.

This is a great hike along the Appalachian Trail. Incredible views and a great workout. Check out my full write up that includes directions and things to look out for.

This is my very favorite trail to take all levels of hikers! The beauty of this hike is so amazing and easy! Even difficult trail hikers love it!

it's a nice hike, first 2 miles give you good work out, great views.

Excellent, easy, fairly long walk or jog. Beautiful and quiet . NYC did a great job of creating a place for everyone to enjoy.

There’s parking on PCH but very difficult to find an empty parking space most days. We parked inside the park (parking was $15). The trails were easy to find and there’s pamphlets at the trail head so you can pick your trails. There was a LOT of traffic on the trails (Friday afternoon) but the views were amazing. The trails take you right down to the beach where you can walk around or jog along the water. We saw whales along the coast as we hiked back up. If you want an ocean view and don’t mind the heavy foot traffic, this is the place for you.

Walked it in the winter, when crowds were light. Can only imagine how crowded it gets in good weather. Nice way to get down to the Meatpacking District from the West Side. Tons of construction along the first part of the walk.

Beautiful hike after an overnight 6 inch snowfall. Great views, tranquil Eureka creek crossing, and beautiful rhododendrons. Moderate hike which took about 3 hours with multiple stops to admire views and take pictures. We took the fire road back due to slippery snow covered rocks.

Great trails, nice views. Lost 1 star for the high price of entrance ($20).

Best views from the side trails.

quick 2 hour hike. added Little Stony Point after. once you get to the top. great views and MUCH easier on the way down.

awesome trail!

This is easy training hike for me. I am from car and back under 1 hour. Nice mixed terrain.

Climbed Mt. Minsi yesterday. Great hike with what others have already described as... "...great views of the Delaware River and Mount Tammany!". It'll take around 3 hrs start to finish is definitely icy in spots this time of year.. Easy trail "overall".. Two thumbs up!

Great hike. The start of the white trail up is more of a road and there was recent clear cutting to widen it (not very scenic) but once past the quarry the trail thins out and you get great views of the Hudson. The actual summit is a bit inland past the river views and has a bit of tree cover. Past that it’s a long gentle down hill. Then you hit the Cornish estate Ruins which is an awesome treat on a somewhat uneventful descent. We went in winter so it was empty but I hear summer is a zoo.

Great trails with lots of options to hike. Very crowded though.

Great out and back trail of moderate difficulty. Awesome end viewpoint overlooking the Hudson River and is a great picnic spot. Views along the way can be a little boring. Steep portions for sure! Loses a star only due to its extreme overuse and being out and back....you constantly have to move out of the way to get past people which is distracting from the scenery.

Easy trail. Nice views. Perfect for a quick hike along the beach.

Fun hike with beautiful views! Fun terrain to hike on

Pretty difficult because of all the ice but well worth the trek!

Easy walking pace or moderate running, this stunning gem should be on your list of HV hikes.

Nice hike along the AT with good views of Mt. Tammany and the Del River Gap. I would make this an out and back, coming back on the AT instead of the Fire road.

Awesome trail with few great overlook points! Must Go place !

Nice trail to do with small kids
Awesome views to the ocean and great bare foot beach walk to the parking lot
