really good hike and great views while you hike.

Go early or weekdays to avoid crowds. Clean up after your selves! Be prepared to see naked people ☺️

Really enjoyable hike and great hot springs.

This hike is a fun hike to do with anyone. As long as the snow isnt coating the path its very easy - THERE ARE TWO TRAIL HEADS. The first, main one is from Sundance. Sundance is privately owned which means they decide when and how to use their trails. Its super pretty from the resort but you will be required to purchase a lift pass to access the trail head. The second trail stems from aspen grove, which is about 2 miles up the alpine loop PAST sundance. Right before entering the uinta national forest there are two parking lots and the second lot is where youll start the trail.

It's a nice trail with a couple nice meadows and the falls is 2 miles from the trailhead. It was a bit tough for our 6 and 4 yr old who generally are fairly athletic. Way too many people and quite a few that lack trail etiquette.

I found someone’s wedding ring on the trail today. If you lost your ring please contact me by email at jbump86@gmail.com. Hopefully whoever lost it sees this.

This was a amazing experience! The hike was easy and beautiful in some places. Me and my family went on a Saturday and it wasn’t as busy as I thought it was going to be. Parking was the only issue because of the amount of people! I would definitely do this again! We got in the hot springs and everything was very laid back and fun!

A bit muddy at the start. Beautiful walking through the pines. ☮️

Great conditions today. 98% dry, no snow at all. Just too many people!

Went all the way to the summit...about 1.5 feet of snow at the top...it slowed me down a decent bit but it was still doable with out an extra gear...just keep that in mind. Again, I’d like to reiterate that the second half of the trail is soooo much better than the first half...it’s got a whole different energy to it.

Just got back from doing this hike and it was gorgeous with fantastic weather,60’s. We took the Sundance trail which is a little more steep than the regular trail. It’s about 3.6 miles all together. Definitely going back in the summer

I love this hike, such a beautiful view and totally worth the moderate hike!

Were spikes needed at all?

@jared, roughly 2.5 miles each way, 5 total.

Is it 5 mile one way or out and back?

I love this hike!

Went in the middle of a snow storm, got our car stuck. Recommend just parking in the parking area and not driving out towards the pools. We brought trash bags because we had read it was really dirty but found no trash. The pools were not very warm but the water was clear.

Loved this trail! I went on a Monday and it was not heavily trafficked at all. There were people there but I had a couple pools to myself at most times. The springs were incredible and such a treat. The hike itself was not difficult. I would recommend to not wear jewelry in the hot springs, I didn't realize this but the sulfur in the springs oxidized my silver ring. I don't hate it, just unexpected. A little added souvenir if you will. Highly recommend! There was some trash which was unfortunate but it was incredible overall.

Enjoy this hike every time! Kids love it and so does the dog. Nice to have a trail both can go on.

Such a fun trail! We got there around 10 this morning, thinking it was early enough to beat the crowds, we were wrong. Parking was crazy. But the hike to the springs was beautiful and easy. We took our two boys 7 & 2. When we got to the springs a nice lady told us where a good spot to sit with kids was! I was surprised by how hot some spots were. But it was amazing! Seriously, such a fun experience. We took a garbage bag and picked up some garbage we saw coming out, but honestly it wasn’t to bad! Also someone before us had said a kid had cut them selves on some glass but we never saw any. Getting out of the parking lot when we got back was kind of a joke. People will just park anywhere even if it boxes someone in. My advice would be to park on the road.

Hiked up there will my toddler in a backpack and, a 6 & 9 year old. Very pretty. My kids did great and LOVED the hot springs.

Went up this morning, broken glass on the trail and in the lowest spring. Removed as much as I could. Would highly advise wearing flip flops or something.

Beautiful and not super difficult trail with a treat at the end of it. We hiked it about a month ago and were amazed by the variety of colors.

Did again yesterday, TRASH EVERYWHERE by the lower falls, towels, clothes, glass alcohol bottles, beer cans, etc. So annoying that people can’t pick up after themselves.

Easy hike. Google Maps also has a marker for where the trailhead actually begins; we missed the real trailhead the first time we trekked the falls and ended up scrambling up the slickrock at the base of the falls, which I wouldn't personally recommend because there aren't many stable footholds. The actual trail is well-maintained and mostly a steady incline to the base of Bridal Veil Falls.

Gates are still closed, but most hikers park at the Red Lake trailhead and work their way up. Trail can get muddy and slick with melting snow the closer you get to the falls, but isn't difficult to navigate. Bridge at the very end right before the grotto is no longer there — we had to get our feet wet to actually explore the cove. Google Maps has a good GPS marker for the trailhead if you're worried about getting lost on the way there.

Always a pleasure.

Pretty but the end of the trail is kind of a let down visually. Overall a good hike, but i wouldn’t do it again

Kelly were you there just 3 days ago?. I'm taking some scouts there and would like to know if I need to provide them with snow shoes. What is the status of the trail?

Great hike on a good trail. The color of the water near the hot springs is amazing. Love hiking mornings ad avoiding and avoiding the usual crowd. It was overcast and the eating rain which also keep the crowds down on a Saturday.
