- Nice trail, overall.
- A little confusing to navigate in parts, especially with so many intersecting roads and paths, but doable if you print a map in advance or use a phone for directions.
- Not too many changes in elevation; pretty easy for all ages.
- The falls and view from Washington Rock were nice, but nothing too memorable. Otherwise, not much else to see along the way.
- LOTS of bugs. Must bring bug spray!

Great spot to hike
Trail marking could be better but great experience overall

Loved it....continued along bakers beach and got as close to the bridge as we were able. Awesome views.

BEST dog park in the Bay!

There are so many trails; even though we follow the direction, we still got lost 3 times and had to trek back. At one point the trail showed on the map/GPS doesn’t exist. Wasn’t sure I was going to make it through; but I did, yay! We got some sun, fog, and rain, too during our hike. Was a great hike though - loved it.

Nice little trail with lots of geocaches but I don't understand why my reviews on this trail keep disappearing???

Nice little trail with lots of geocaches. I've done it many times over the years. My previous reviews on this trail keep getting deleted for some unknown reason???

Combined this trail with the Huyler's Landing and Closter Dock Trail loop which came to all together nearly 9.5 miles. Other reviews are true in so at the beginning yes you do hear the car noise at first/near ending the loop, but do not let that stop you. If combining both trails I do recommend starting with Forest trail, there are some steep steps which are pretty sketchy especially if it is damp out which you will have to go down. Though it is rated as easy I would say it was a little more than just that. The midpoint where both trails meet is a large picnic area on the water which probably does get busy as it is a very nice area, where most likely ppl go to take pictures and all. To me however it is nice to see so many ppl taking advantage of the area. The hike along the shore is just as awesome as hiking above for the views. Very worth it.

Great views of Ocean Beach, the Sutro Baths, huge coastal trees and beautiful wild flowers along the Cliff House Walk at Land's End. At low tide can climb up onto the big rocks just offshore. But be careful when the tide comes back in! We had a great day.

Very fun trail, a lot to see, especially the hang gliders. Not strenuous, good for a walk in most weather.

The beginning is steep, and it was pretty foggy the day we went. The fog was actually kind of cool, though. Good 1:30ish hour hike.

Yet to see a hang glider land

The part that goes from parking lot to Rodeo Trail is wrong— the path is covered in brush, unmaintained and impassable. I backtracked and went further along the road to get on the trail. After that it was good. Karl the Fog was in full effect. I got lost as usual. Couldnt run strava cos of battery drain but it feels like I ran at least 13.1

The trails are easy and decently marked, however it's easy to get off the trail if you are distracted, the falls are nice. Watch for bikes on the trails.

The view at parking lot 2 is absolutely gorgeous, and it's the starting point of the loop if you follow the directions from the All Trails app. There is no Camelback loop trail actually. The loop contains the South Trail and a mile or so of road to get back to the parking lot. There are only signs for the South Trail. The route on the map is accurate. If you record your hike in the All Trails app, you can follow the GPS directions to complete the hike. We did it in July, and there were lots of bugs, I would recommend bringing bug spray.

One of my favorite trails in the area. filled with wild mountain laural and rhododendron week of July 4th and week after each year. Nice trail around lake.

I saw a beautiful blue heron and blooming Lillies on the little pond and the gnarled trees are gorgeous

Great two hour hike with incredible views of the bay at the top. Took a detour to check out the houses on Wolfback Ridge, and another to take in the stellar view at the little cutoff in the middle of the SCA trail. Don’t miss that one! Note that the map is wrong, there’s no Julian Trail from Bunker Road to Rodeo Valley Trail. Looks like it never even existed either.

Have done this trail many times over the past few years in combination with the other many trails in Carolina Beach State Park. All are enjoyable adventures.

Nice little trail which I have done many times with my dogs. Lots of geocaches along the trail.

Great for mountain biking not much for hiking.

beautiful space to relax and get out of the house

This is more of a historic walk than a hike.

Great views. Windy in April-June. Sunsets are the best in the city. I fish here often as well.

Dog-watch galore. Beach access. Hang gliding area. Beware of horse poop on trails. Overall, cute hike for families. I would not consider this area if you want something intense.
