The drive up is absolutely breathtaking and the views on top of the summit are just as incredible. You get to share this adventure with 150+ other people as well. Complete zoo.

Fun hike and cool spot to look out and see everything! We took this hike when we didn’t want a long day and combined it with a visit to Squaw Mountain

Wow! A little rough up going in for a beginner like me. But, it is all worth it what a view at the top! Can’t wait to bring my family here!

Short, easy hike but you do feel the altitude.

Many small falls. A easy hike.

Not a loop trail, and it is over 2 miles one way to get to Lost Lake. We had a time constraint and had to turn around and didn't see the lake. Due to misleading description on AllTrails we didn't allow enough time. Trail is poorly marked with a few spots you have to choose a trail, but indeed there are many hikers to consult. Download the map before you get up there. I forgot and didn't have service so it was too late. Map would have been helpful. The difficulty ratings on AllTrails are also misleading. As an experienced and relatively fit hiker this hike is easy, but the I'm trying to find a trail for out of town visitors with varying fitness levels and this ain't it. There's many other trails on AllTrails rated as easy that are clearly not easy.

Anywhere in Rocky is a great place. Easy walk...Some giant elk, moose ran through just as we were leaving...huge..

Great short hike for kids

It was quite hilly but the hike was nice and short and the views and waterfall was rewarding.

Great short hike with kids. We did the “walk back through time” program that was offered by the Visitor center and it was incredible. It was a 2 hour program that you have to sign up for in advance. It rained on us the whole time but it was still an amazing experience for the kids

The trail is quite wide and flat; very driveway-like. The trailhead is easy to access, and the pleasant walk through the meadow to get to the site was lovely. We saw an entire heard of elk huddled together to try to shelter from the rain.
Lovely.

What an amazing hike! I wouldn’t call this an easy hike but it’s easy/moderate. The trailhead is tricky to find when it’s your first time but is right after mile marker 18 if you are coming from Idaho springs on the right.
You can’t beat the views from the top

Amazing but exhausting!

The trail is a great family friendly trail that can be handled by most people. It is uphill on the way out but plenty of great spots to stop and catch your breath. As many other reviewers have mentioned this is perfect for spotting moose. We saw a cow and her calf only about a half mile into the trail. Our kids especially enjoyed it when the pair followed us up the trail for a while. Great hike with beautiful forest scenery at the beginning and the meadow at the end it perfect for lunch or snack before heading back.

Well maintained trail with beautiful views.

Our family of 15 includes 8 kids under 10. We loved this easy hike that included a nice waterfall 0.3 Miles in and a stream they waded in for 1/2 hour. We could’ve gone further but enjoyed the first stretch. It was perfect for our family.

Easy hike, go early and have trail to yourself and get to meadows beyond the Falls to see the wildlife.

Great beginning hike. Trail is in great condition and good views at the top

The Falls were beautiful, easy hike up to the Falls. We then continued on for another mile or so, the meadows and river were really nice, with mountain views. We saw moose as well, so be on the lookout for them.

I agree that this trail is short, not too difficult and has some of the most stunning scenery payoffs for the least amount of effort of any trail I've been on. With that being said I wouldn't classify it as an "easy" trail for all levels. People that are not used to high altitude might struggle. Pretty popular too although I'm not sure how so many people know about this trail. Parking can be a bit tricky if the roadside parking lot is full which it's surely to be on weekends. Regardless my wife & I really enjoyed this trail and would recommend it.

It is really only a short .5 mile rocky walk to other trailheads. other trails are probably 2 or 3 miles at least.

Popular trail due to its distance, terrain, and proximity to Denver. We went on a Saturday late morning, roadside parking was pretty full but the trail itself was not congested at all. Gradual incline and great views up top!

Beautiful trail, easy access. The parking lot is full but you do not run into many people on the actual trail.

We did this as the last hike of the day after we drove trail ridge road from Estes Park to grand lake. Actually not on trail ridge road but not too far off (15 min). It was a beautiful waterfall and was an excellent cap to great day seeing the Rockies. Definitely the highlight of the day. Easy trail with plenty of parking on Sunday night July 8th at 5pm. Definitely a rocky trail so boots or at least shoes would keep you comfortable hiking this one.

Stopped at this one while cruising trail ridge road. Nice little trail that was easy with a cool little old town to check out. Bridge over Colorado river was beautiful. Took us a half hour.

Good workout

Little work, big payoff.

You are able to get to the falls within about 20 minutes. It’s a busy trail, but if you continue past the falls, there is gorgeous landscape and becomes less busy.

Fun little hike. It’s been a while since I’ve been hiking last, so doing this one was a good boost!

An issue I have with the app:
It’d be nice to be able to hit the check-in even after you leave the area.

Great hike with kids. Within a mile you can see the falls and the beautiful meadow, where we saw a moose with her calf.
