I started from the north parking lot and went through the inside/middle area to get some quick shots of the formations, then went to the outside trail (non-paved one) to complete the loop. I included the Rocks and Vistas Garden Loop + Garden of the Gods Loop + Siamese Twins Loop within my hike. There wasn't many people on a Tuesday morning due to the high winds and snow so it was fairly empty. A great trail overall but definitely more of a touristy/nature style walk/hike instead of an actual hike. Also, on the outer loop where horses are used there is a lot of poop on the trails.

Can’t tell you how many times we’ve done this hike! We bring all of our out-of-state visitors there ages 23-60+. We’ve visited in every season and will continue to go back! Also close to downtown Breckenridge.

This is an easy hike with stairs. Optional rock scramble, on a piece of interestingly varied geology. At this time of year the scrub oak bears a hearty crop of plastic bags, flapping and lifeless. The omnipresent sights and sound of traffic and parked cars and little boxes made of ticky tacky smothered the natural beauty of this place. Recommended if you're a tourist. If you're a traveler, skip it.

Easy trail if you stick to the formation area; it’s all paved. Going to the actual trail is a little more like a real hike instead of a stroll. Trail is still very easy, even if you do the four mile loop. More of a nature walk than a hike; if you are looking for a hike or something remotely challenging look elsewhere. Views are beautiful though!

Nice, fun loop. You can really make it your own as it has alot of other trails surrounding it. We didn't do the whole loop this time as the parking lots near it were at capacity so we ended up on the other side of the park. We did this trail on a Sunday morning, alot of people and cars if possible go on a weekday.

The waterfall that this hike leads to is awesome!

The trail to the falls wasn't my favorite, but the ending spot was great, and we only saw 3 other people the whole time. Took us less than an hour and a half to do the whole loop. We parked at the lake/gazebo in town and then walked up Foster Rd to the trailhead. Thomas trail is a steady climb up to the falls. The trail was a little icy the last .5 miles to the falls, so wear some good boots. We came down Belvidere Road to get back to town.

Overall a great, short hike.

Super pretty!!! It’s really fun to hike around or drive around. Lots of different trails with views of rocks and mountains.

Good for family. There is a little area kids can play on the rocks. Great for some family photos to.

I continued up to the second and third lake. It was well worth it. The meadow above the first lake was full of wildflowers. Beautiful!

This was a great hike but it was 1.7 miles to the actual trailhead from the parking lot and after about .8 miles the snow was so deep we had to turn around. Nobody had gone beyond our turn around point... views were amazing and can’t wait to come back and do it in the summer!

Great hike for myself and my dog!

My boyfriend and I hiked this last Thursday and decided that the boot pack was good enough that we'd go without snow shoes. Mistake. We hiked for quite a while but eventually got to an area where the boot pack was non-existent and we started to sink down in waist-deep snow. We continued on for a while and tried to go up the right side of the gulch via some very slippery rock to get out of the snow, but eventually decided it was best to turn around. We LOVED this hike when we did it in the summer and would highly recommend. The lakes are spectacular.

Really good hike, not long at all. And the beautiful waterfall makes up for the lack of views throughout it!

Beautiful view, great ride.

Very beautiful. Easy terrain. Limited parking.

Beautiful short trail. Perfect sunny day. Snow was really packed making it icy in some places but not bad at all.

Parked and hiked a bit, walked back and drove to the next parking spot. Hiked a bit again. Gorgeous, paved trails.

Combination of paved and gravel trails surrounding and through the park and gorgeous rock formations. Not terribly crowded on a chilly February morning, but the views would be worth a visit even in the busier summer months.

Slept in my truck to wake up to the sunrise. Well worth it! Beautiful views

We snowshoed this on Saturday (1/20/18). We could have gotten away without snowshoes for the first couple miles, but they were definitely necessary after that point.

We were here in August and it was one of the highlights of the trip. We made it to the falls and back with our 6 and 8 year old children. Gorgeous views!

Good loop. Lots of people but plenty of parking

its a nice little trail with amazing views. its a super easy walk with minimal elivation change. its a great walk for someone who's just gotten to the altitude from sea level. only 0.6 miles long its great for the entire family. the only down side to the trail is winter conditions can make it hard to get to if you dont have 4x4 or snow tires.

Nice trail - a little to crowded in the summer months to enjoy

Garden of the Gods and its trails have been an annual mainstay of our vacations. The trails are heavily traveled and not hard but the beauty is unmatched.
