on Adams Falls Trail

This is a great little hike just outside of Grand Lake. We had our 3 young children and they made it to the falls without issues. You can continue on for more spectacular views from the falls. You also get great views of Grand Lake from parts of the trail as well.

Super easy and quick hike, can get a bit busy. If you’re experienced and looking for a longer trek take this trail further up to loch.

Very easy trail for the family to hike. Pretty river at the end with a mild falls. A great place to Get a picture with the whole family. Hiked on 6-7-18

Lots of people but our family had some amazing privacy in the valley to observe two moose. What a great experience for this family from Michigan.

Walked this trail in January on a gorgeous clear day. It cemented my new found love of the Rockies!

This trail is awesome because it gives people who can't hike to some of the other mountain lakes a chance to see one almost just as good. This trail is wheelchair accessible. The lake is beautiful and it is a great place to hike. The trail also connects to a large loop that connects several mountain lakes. You don't want to miss this one.

Beautiful scenery! This water fall is amazing. The trail is also very well kept up.

Gorgeous views. Easy half mile hike. Perfect for kids.

Crowded but so beautiful. Not much of a hike at all.

Easy hike to see a great waterfall.

Easy to moderate, gets your muscles working but nothing too strenuous. Maybe not the best for young children in some parts for inexperienced/non-local people like myself but still doable!

A quick and easy walk. I’d recommend doing this as a cool down from the Emerald Lake Trail.

Fun trail - serves as a good warm-up hike. A moose came from the marshy area south of the lake and proceeded to go in the lake to eat on 7/11/18.

Loved this and went a bit farther to get 3-4 miles. Definitely one of the best in the area!

Highly trafficked but the waterfall is awesome. We hiked to Emerald lake first. Since the trailheads are basically the same, we kept going to see the waterfall. You can pick a nice rock for a nap once you get there. Great scenery, but if I came back to this park I’d pick a less trafficked trail. It was suitable for my brother, who was dying because he never hikes.

My Husband & I hiked Alberta Falls on 4th of July & it was Beautiful! Sat on a rock & dipped my feet into the cold water stream... Over all it was a pretty easy hike. Worth it! Kid friendly. Parking lots get filled quickly & you have to use the park and ride after 7:30ish. So my advise is to go as early as you can. $25 fee for the national park also.

Great trail. Great views. Very crowded.

Great trail around a beautiful lake!! We saw moose, fish, small rodents and all sorts of cute ducks. It’s a quick and relaxing trail that allows you to take some beautiful mountain photos. I highly recommend to pop in for the .6 quick walk. There are also numerous tables to enjoy a nice snack or lunch.

A bit crowded when we were there on a Saturday but a great hike for kids or older folks. We passed these falls on the trail to Loch Lake.

easy hike and nice and simple

Great hike, especially for beginners. The falls are also very beautiful.

This trail is easy and is in the thick of the forest so the scenery is wonderful. We came from alluvial fan so this waterfall was not as exciting but still awesome! Great quick hike for families: there are portions that are uphill and downhill so it evens out.

It is a very small lake but a great spot to eat and go to the bathroom. The lake is beautiful with the mountains in the background. It is extremely flat so it would be very doable for all ages. I don’t know if it is worth venturing out to but it is on your way to a lot of other hikes so it is nice to stop there and look around.

Pretty easy hike to Alberta Falls. I would strongly recommend to continue uphill to one of the many lakes on the trail to get a more dynamic trek experience. If you are trekking with family Alberta Falls is surely one photogenic spot you can opt for.

easy and beautiful, a postcard

Enjoyable for family with teenagers! Easier going down than coming back up! You could take the bus back if you wanted! Make sure to go all the way to top and sit on rocks! Great view both ways!

Very beautiful and enjoyable for the family. Kids loved it and it was not to demanding for our 4 and 2 year old.
