Heartrate up to 180 at times. Focusing on counting those slugs helped, 98 total. Creek wasn't much to look at. Pretty hike, good workout, wouldn't do it again though.
There were shades and cool. There wasn't view spot.
Parking is on side of road and limited but we went on a Thursday and no issues. The trail begins with a rocky slope and is a little slippery but has beautiful views of the ocean. Once at bottom there are two paths. Make sure to check out both! Path to right included a stream with small waterfall leading to the ocean. Path to left included wooden bridge and tunnel that lead you to more beautiful ocean views. Adorable bench awaits you at the end to take it all in.

But tricky finding the trail behind the baseball field. Otherwise great!
Can get very steep at some points but views are stunning at the top!
Great trail mostly shaded lots of downhill and then lots of uphill . We went counterclockwise and wasn’t as steep coming back . Only saw 1 banana slug !
Lots of poison oak & narrow trail.

Initial part of the trail was a steep climb. After you reach the top, the rest is a gradual descent. Good amount of shade. Nice views. Lots of water features. Not a lot of parking.
Great hike! Lots of people on the trail on the gravel part at the end
