Absolutely beautiful. Wonderful photo opportunities throughout the entire walk. Paths are well maintained and wide.

Great hike come early morning because it’s gets packed with hikers

Great view from the top, and we got to walk through a field of cows which I liked

by far the steepest and narrowest trail in crystal cove. great hike

The hike has a total of 14 river crossing to just get to the trail head. We took a non 4 wheel drive vehicle and made it. You do have to take the river crossing super slow otherwise the water will splash on the battery and you’ll have to wait to let it dry before your car will start (Found out the hard way). We only hiked to the big falls and then turned around. GPS was a little off and it is closer to 3.6 miles for the entire hike. This time of year the hike had no water from the falls but the river had a little bit of water. Overall great hike if you’re willing to drive through the crossings.

A nice morning walk. Some runners on the trial and some bikes, but not too many bikes. Great views and ocean breeze.

Great hike today. Wide trails

Was very beautiful, I’m so glad I went. Very flat ground but very far to walk !

This is a long, relatively easy in / harder out hike all on a paved road. It is an, exposed trail with breathtaking panoramic views, but no protection from sun, so take plenty of water, snacks and pick a time to go when weather is cool; most likely early mornings or from Oct thru April. My lab loves these kind of leisurely long hikes and I always make her carry her own pack filled just with water! If you feel you've worked up a big enough appetite, the original famous Hitching Post Steak House in Casmalia isn't very far away!

Good hike, my 13 year old dog was able to reach the tippy top with me. We went clockwise and were bombarded with high noon sun... hike would have been a little easier if it weren’t for the heat (still not too bad, late October). The hike down was mostly shade.

We'll definitely go again because I have a CA State Park Pass. It is a great and somewhat difficult trail. My advice would be to bring cash because there is a $10 parking fee if you don't have a pass.

First overnight trip with my eleven year old scout. Tiring but a lot of fun

Gorgeous and quick! Must do trail

Finally made it up today! Pretty steep trail at certain spots but the views from the top are breathtaking! Highly recommend it.

The Bluff Trail is an easy hike and the views are spectacular of the Central Coast and Pacific Ocean. This hike of the Bluff Trail is well worth doing, best in the spring when everything is blooming and it is not too hot, it was foggy on this particular day. This trail has both ticks and Poison oak as hazards if you get too close to the sides or go off trail. Rattlesnakes are very common here.
I actually was on three different trails, I started on the Bluff trail at the southern end, then switched to the Badger Trail to go inland for awhile. Then, I switched to the Rattlesnake Flats trail to head towards my car.
Virtual Treadmill video of this hike can be seen on my YouTube Channel, copy and paste link below to watch it. Thanks.

Mostly doing flat land trails in Austin this is fantastic change. Beautiful views all the way up, if no marine layer obviously. I've seen folks from 6 to 86 on this trail. As a side note, I lost my wallet on the trail. After realizing later, we went back and found it by a billboard fully intact. Folks here are top notch. As a plus, multiple breweries within 2 miles once you're done. Enjoy!

Such a fun trail! Great views at the top, and lots of fun things to play on. I had to keep an eye out for mountain bikers, but they were very respectful in sharing the trails. Its not too strenuous, but still enough to feel like you got a workout. I really enjoyed this loop.

Good hike not hard the elevation gain is spread out over two miles. It was overcast the day I hiked so I didn’t have much of a view from the top.

This was a great way to see the sunrise. Scenes were great and it was nice and quiet at 530 in the morning ;) will be doing it again!!

The trail is clean and well maintained. The view was worth the work. Trekking poles are strongly recommended for slick downhill portions.

Great afternoon hike! Most is on a clearly defined, wide trail, although there are smaller paths if you want. It is worth hiking to the very top (there is a pole to define it). Great overview of SLO!

A long, winding trail through the hills gives way to some absolutely amazing views. Certainly a hard and difficult trail due to the elevation gain and length, but I’d say it’s on the easier side of “hard” because the climb is gradual.

As others have said, getting down to the beach is a bit tricky. When you get to the overlook point with the two signs on either side that both say “Treacherous Slope,” go to the one on the right. There’s a trail that winds down to the beach from there.

Definitely worth the 3.5-4.5 hour trek!
