one of my favorite places I have ever ran.

I really enjoy the trails at Manassas. Great place to take the dog on a weekend.

Excellent trail for running. Easy and wide for passing. Beautiful too.

Beautiful and easy for a quick hike.

Nice, easy, convenient NoVA hike/walk. Melting snow on the trail made it somewhat like walking through a swamp - wear boots if wet.

Beautiful trail to walk with your dog. even though the dam is under renovation - still provides great scenery, and many nice rocks to sit and overview the marsh on - great for contemplation and journaling. The path gets narrow and muddy at places, so ensure to wear proper hiking foot wear. I've gone several times with my dog and have never found it crowded or busy.

Great trail but it gets a 3 star because of the high traffic. Still worth visiting but expect lots of people and bikes.

Keep in mind, the trail is around a historic battlefield. Given that it is a battlefield, it is mostly cleared, with not that many trees. But it is beautiful, hilly, and with the mountains off in the horizon. It can be hard to distinguish the path from the hills because it is a flattened grass trail to preserve the original look. The nearby roads are also unfortunately a bit loud and an eyesore.

Nice trail which I used to walk when I was young. It's fun to see the lakefront halfway through the trail, too.

Great trail, very busy though... bikers are careless so watch out.

Nice local run, trail markings can be a bit confusing.

Good trail and excellent history along the way. However, signage needs some upgrading. I would have taken many wrong turns ( and took at least one) if I had not stopped to get a trail map. Overall though excellent hike and I will be back.

Pretty cool trail if you like the history behind if. As well as very scenic

Bring the whole family and the dogs too! beautiful easy hiking trails. kayaking, frisbee, and great fields for pickniks. playgrounds, minigolf and a train ride too! I've spent many weekends here and can't wait for my next visit. also, those of you who play pokemon go...this is the place to come!

Great walk with beautiful fall foliage. Walked around the whole lake with a stroller!

this is a great walk or run. I frequently run this loop starting out at the stone bridge and heading out towards matthews hill. Good up and down hills along this stretch. Wooded and open areas. only two street crossings. Several streams, and wild life along this trail. Great during sunset.

Gorgeous park and hiking trails! Scenic natural beauty is abundant here. After a vigorous hike, I love to visit Paradise Springs Springs Winery which is walking distance from the Yates Ford Road parking lot.

Great running trail that overs a lot of shade. you can also run several extending paths which will allow you to run more if you desire.

Nice for a wooded walk with my dog. Saw a Great Blue Heron. Pretty path rich with Civil War history. Alot of bicycles.

The paths were great but the only thing I didn’t like was that there were no markers or many signs on what path you were on. It’s a maze and it would be great to have more markers/signs. Thank goodness for this app.

My dogs love this trail. Some deer, foxes, squirrels, and water fowl. Depending on the weather it can be muddy or hard. Rocks in part. It is connected to the larger trail system of the Regional Park from Bull Run Park to Fountain Head (19 miles). I would call easy with moderate for some of the hills if wet.

After moving to Broadlands area, I have been wanting to walk this trail since a few months. The dam is under renovation till 2019 though. I will keep a watch at the updates and am eager to see the trail then.

very nice trails not well marked at all very easy to get lost.

nice hike. steep in places. cross major roads in two places.

one of the best in the area. only complaint is a heavy road
crossing at times.
