Very muddy but passable. Keep your eyes open for falling trees. The wind brought a few down already and it looks like a few more are coming down soon.

one of my favorite trails closed to home.

I love this park and this walk. It’s the perfect length and it’s a lovely view.

Lovely trail, a bit crowded though. The lake views are pretty. It can be very muddy at places.

Enjoyed the walk. Easy trail. Plenty of ppl around so not really recommended for a silent walk. Only some parts are paved, a bit muddy, its better for walking than jogging. At the end had to step in water at the path in front of the dam and get my sneakers soaked but we were near the parking lot so got dry in the car right away.

Just what my family was looking for. stroller friendly, not too long, not too short, not too challenging. The lake was beautiful and my son enjoyed the playground at the end.
My only complaint was that only one restroom was open and it was the men's and it was disgusting, and not stocked with tp or soap.
Like others have said, it would have been better had it not gone through the residential area.
Overall, enjoyed the hike and would do it again!

A quick walk/hike with some nice viewings of nature scattered around. However, found it too short and mundane.

Fun, family oriented trail with lots for kids and adults to do. Can get very muddy after rainy periods.

Very pretty boardwalk, and scenery. We needed to consult the app often to stay on track. It took us a little under 2 hours to complete. We went after rain, on 12-29 so it was pretty swampy in spots.

Great trail for running, biking, walking, and bird watching. Some off chute trails for the ambitious. Flat in some places and uphill in some. Reverse direction and get a different feel.

Great trail for a level run. The loop is close to five miles long and offers a nice hardwood forest setting. In the fall it can be colorful and vibrant.

Easy and pretty. Just make sure you check the path in front of the dam for flooding before heading out or this becomes a 7+ mile out-and-back! Whoops!

One of my favorite walks to do in the area. It’s a pretty trail and nice not having to pay the entrance fee at great falls.

Must do for anyone who loves Civil War history like myself. Tons of history markers that gives you a feel of how the battle played out. Great park with a really nice vistors center.

I've been around Claude Moore Park more than a couple times, and although it's mostly flat and winding with basic trails, it does have that "historic feeling" to it. It's nice and easy, perfect for new hikers and their families in the Loudoun area. Watch out, it can get muddy in some spots. They have the Heritage Farm Museum, and Claude Moore Recreation & Community Center of PRCS. (CMRCC). Drop by both of those if you have the chance.

Hiked it with my friend had a good time it is a great trail

Relatively flat and well marked path. Nice views of the water and the falls. Started a little crowded around 9/9:30. Took us about an hour with our dog.

Nice place for an easy hike (bike are not allowed) in the middle of the summer make sure to check yourself for ticks they are all over stay on the trail for best chance of not taking some home, great place to visit .

Loved the side trails. Beautiful! Went on a weekday and there were few people.

I run here all the time. Great trail that’s mostly flat and wide enough for multiple people. Perfect family trail and the marina has a carousel and mini golf in the summer.

not spectacular but pleasant and easy

Mostly flat with mild elevation changes. Trails are marked, but can be confusing at intersections. All trails interconnect so you can make it back to your start point.

A few muddy spots, and puddles.

Visitor center had restrooms for quick wash up after activity.

Area is nice. Trails are marked but not well kept. Lots of different trails around the park and a nice visitor center. Also has a nature center but didn’t get a chance to check it out.
