Easy trail for sure. Good portion of it shaded. Great for kids or for trail running. Well marked trail with nice views. Good place to take out of Townes not used to the elevation.

This was a great 5.5 miles venture, 2.3 miles was the upper loop. There was a couple other out and back trails, not included in the 5.5 miles. Took two moderately active people an hour and 45 minutes. Saw a coyote.

Great views. Nice moderate hike.

Great hike. Very beautiful. it was a little hard to find the right path to the trailhead, but once we found it it was great from there. Most of it is shaded. Lots of little streams and waterfalls. Just be sure to bring lots of water!

Family friendly hike to the summit of My Herman. Kids loved it, beautiful views of pikes peak and monument. A little tricky at the top to stay on course, stay to your left to get to the summit and it’s bit steep on the decent. Overall a great family hiking day.

It’s a great spot close to Lincoln Ave in Lone Tree. The view at the top where bench is located gives a panoramic view of the DTC and downtown Denver. This hike is well marked and has many wide areas. Watch out for the mountain bikers as they come down some of the inclines. It would be best to do this trail in the morning during the summer as there is minimal shade.

A nice easy/moderate hike that got my heart rate up reasonably well. Did most of the loop and encountered < 10 people @ 9AM on a Saturday

I loved this hike. We parked at the Rainbow Trailhead and hiked to the Reservoir from there (which I highly recommend). We ended up not going the full way around Rampart Reservoir, but still worth it. No real steep inclines. Fairly easy hike both ways.

I loved this place. The litter made me sad. But there wasn’t any on the trail just below it in the tent village. And the homeless just stayed to them selves in their tents. The tunnels were amazing. The scramble to the top was awesome. And your HIKING. Just park somewhere in manitou and walk. It’s not bad. One of the tunnels is an obvious place where climbers practice... one of them (Satan’s tunnel) was where satanic temple had secret meetings back in the day supposedly. There were loads of bats in that one. I honestly loved this trail there was adventure- folklore- and scrambling- and a reminder to not take what you have for granted walking past the tent city. And by tent city I mean like a total of 6 or 7 tents.

Great easy trail with scenic views. Some nice shade along the way

Great trail, very scenic. The service road going to the top nearly killed me

Great hike that can be done in a short amount of time. The description of the hike above is accurate. Follow the directions on the yellow start dot on the map carefully. There are multiple branches in the trail at the 0.2 mile mark where the trail takes off up the mountain. The trail does not cross the creek but turns back south and heads up the mountain. Many points in the trail are simply wide areas where water runs during storms. Near the top, hikers have left cairns to guide your way to the top. There is a windsock at the top and a metal pole near the windsock. The ammo box is at the base of the metal pole. This trail becomes a stream when it rains!

Nice Trail keep your eyes on the trail markers pretty easy to lose the trail in several spots. Be prepared for weather. We hit a hail storm on the way back down took shelter in some rocks and trees. The hardest part is the hill to the trail head. You have to park at the bottom of the road and walk the dirt road. Interesting houses along the way though.

I would rate this more on the easy side -a pleasant walk. Nice views from the top.

Really nice easy ride. Happy people and Festival Park is beautiful!

Wonderful hike! My 3 year old made it up to the reservoir but coming back down was a little much. Other than that loved everything about it. Definitely be back!

This trial was a lot more difficult to navigate than I has expected so it recommend downloading the map! Will do next time. Very nice single track, not technical. There are a lot of up and down sections so it was a good workout!

Loved it! Beautiful views fun flowy single track. Some small fun rocky sections, one semi-hard one (w/option to bypass). I’m a flat pedaler/more of a downhill guy, so some of the climbs were killing me (lung-wise) and a little technical. Did the full outer 9miles, finished after dark. Can’t wait to do it again!!

Really enjoyed this hike the views where absolutely stunning!

Challenging but very rewarding. I didn’t know you can simply drive to the reservoir. Hiking on roads are not my favorite but did not regret this one.

Beautiful and mostly shaded!
I loved it. There were a few challenging spots for me, but overall a great hike and nothing I couldn’t handle.
The streams, waterfalls and meadow were absolutely stunning

if you enjoy urban sprawl and garbage throughout a park, and of course high speed bikes whizzing by, then this is the place to go! oh and lots of green poop sacks throughout park since no one really manages it. Also a ton of recent heavy equipment tier tracks on north side between idiot developer's neighborhood in flood plain the County loves to RIP up annually protecting homes built in natural wash area. Years ago, this was a nice park, now, just an area that collects urban trash during wind storms full of yuppies discussing their latest stock trades.....AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF YOU WANT A PLACE TO RELAX...

No one is ever on this trail! So serene. My favorite is to take the connector to hurricane cyn and go down the incline.

Amazing trail if you are in need of getting your heart rate up. It’s mostly uphill all the way around, and the view is beautiful of the mountains and city. Dog friendly and you may even see some horses! Making it to the top is well worth it!

One of my favorite hikes! This morning I trekked up Spruce Mountain, then down the steep, rocky service road to the Greenland Trail. Doing this nice 5-6 mile loop allows you such varied terrain: stunning overlooks from up high down through serene scrub oak and pine forest to beautiful prairie and meadows below. Lovely!

Beautiful little hike, about 5.5 miles. Went today at about 8 AM and there was very little traffic on the trail. Came down about 1030 and there was a few more people coming up but not crowded at all. Horses, bikes, and hikers all had plenty of room from what I saw. I felt the trail itself was easy, but for those who aren't experienced the first 1.5 miles could probably be a little more tiring.

Nice trail up to sections 2/3 of Ring The Peak- parking is not great- you park along the dirt road. Steep at the beginning but nice meadow at top.

Beautiful views, first half is primarily switchbacks up a mountain and the 2nd half lands you in a gorgeous meadow before coming out to the reservoir. Truly captures the beauty that Colorado has to offer. GO DO THIS HIKE!

Park at the bottom on the dirt pull off. Cross the road to get to the dirt road. This was honestly longer and more difficult than I expected just to get to the trailhead. Go through the fence, even if it looks like you shouldn’t. There is a waterfall on the left, and follow the blue dots on the trees. The first blue dot is directly past the waterfall above the trailhead sign. There is also a yellow dot on the same tree. Overall, very well marked. Once you get to the next fence, the road splits and you need to follow the right side! Take a snack to reward yourself by the reservoir.
