One of my favorite hikes, not to muddy. Got a little foggy half way though but a really nice day to be out hiking

Beautiful view. No bathrooms at trailhead. Dogs allowed. Muddy but not terrible.

HikingGreat!

I wouldn’t consider myself a great hiker so the switchbacks definitely had me winded but the view from the top was definitely worth it. Not to muddy but trail has a lot of big slippery roots.

Scenic drivingGreat!Rocky

Trail was perfect! Easy to hike, rocky but easy to climb, minimal mud, great views!! No equipment (spikes or poles) needed! I got there at 8:20am on a Monday and didn’t see anyone on the way up, hung out at the summit for a while, the trail started to get crowded around 10 or 11am. 10/10 recommend, especially since Mt Si has so much snow rn.

Got to the parking lot at 11 am on Monday and there were 4 other cars there. I only saw 4 people total in the trail and it was so peaceful! Snow higher up and would highly recommend microspikes or you will be sliding around on the snow. Can't beat the views, even the highway noise did not bother me.

Areas are muddy, but not bad. Toward the end the trail gets very sketchy due to downed trees, but if you take the trail on the map that’s near the top that turns directly left, the path will be much more clear. Breathtaking view at the top on a clear day!!

Great moderate hike, patchy snow at the start of the trail and compact at the top. Spikes helped a lot, one member in my group didn’t have them and she made it work with a lot of sliding around. Trail is well marked, and little monotonous until you start getting to the lookouts which are breathtaking even on a cloudier day. No views from the balcony as we were pretty much in the clouds, but I imagine on a sunnier day it’s awesome.

Trail was snowy right from the start. Easy one for a beginner snow hike experience. Very beautiful!

Gorgeous bluebird day. However, try as we might, we couldn’t find any snowshoe trail or any kind of trail for that matter. The map on AllTrails takes you right through the middle of the ski runs, and they weren’t thrilled to dodge snowshoers. Ended up roaming around above the lifts, but never found the trail or made it near ZigZag.

We went to the top of the fall the view is stoning everywhere, but we did not do the entire loop on the edge crust. I was with two teens and it looked very unsafe. Way to hight too steep and windy. Other wise it was amazing.

Great moss and mature trails along trail. Some mud but overall in great condition and did fine with hiking boots and poles. The bathrooms at the trailhead are filthy and a health hazard - absolutely do not plan on using them.

HikingGreat!

One of my favorite trails! A few muddy patches and a bit busy but no snow on the trail and gorgeous view at the top of a snow-capped Mt. Si. Would do this every day if I could! It’s rated moderate but the trail has decent and regular downhill and flat breaks so kids would probably be just fine.
