Great place to walk. Flat, clear trails. Several different trails of different lengths. Surroundings are beautiful. Mostly out in the open. Very little shaded/wooded areas on the trails. You can bring your dog!

I really like this park. There are several sets of trails and loops that all connect. Trails are very clear. Terrain is flat. Horses take these trails so watch your step! My favorite is the fact I can take my dog.

Solid loop. The rim views are amazing. Lots of stairs so be prepared.

Easy as it gets! Grew up loving this park. Nice visitor center. Simple to find on the way to Newark. Beautiful gardens, trees and lots of birds and bees!

Pretty views into the ravines. Well maintained, busy trail. We didn't complete the entire trail, just 2 mils of it. Very nice Nature Center at the Trailhead. Saw an owl by the creek, heard a woodpecker.

Short somewhat challenging loop

Nice trail through woods with some inclines.

Enjoyed the scenery, glad we took the trekking poles. Various terrain, worth the hike.

This trail provides one of the best payoffs in the Hocking region. Rockbridge is fantastic and might be the impressive geological feature in the area and it is well worth the hike.

This rim trail hike was very beautiful. After a rain, you need to be careful. There are signs and warnings indicating people have fallen to their death or serious bodily injury. On the day we went, it was two days after a rain and the ground was wet in many areas. We then hiked into the gorge which I thought was a little more beautiful.

Great trail for walking or running, my wife and I got to see a baby deer with her mother

Really enjoyed walking through the woods. The scenic o erlook was a nice touch. Loved seeing the birds at the feeder.

Awesome views. Keep children close at hand. Some parts of the trail lead you right along the cliff edge.

We stopped here on our way back to Columbus on a trip. There was good variety in terrain (if you are into that sort of thing) from grass to mud, roots, and rocks. Definitely one of the more rugged and steep trails we had done this weekend but the short distance kept it manageable. Great stop for me and my family! Everyone loved the view of the falls!

The trails themselves aren't challenging, but I've found them to be great for photography. A quiet walk along the marsh behind the pond has yielded some awesome frog and snake photos, as well as tons of birds (redwing blackbirds love the marsh). I was able to catch some tadpole close ups and dragonflies along one of the smaller marshy ponds by the parking area. So is the trail itself an attraction? Just depends what you're looking for. Side note...yes, ticks are thick here. I walked out clean, but my friend found (literally) 14 on her when she got home.

Beautiful from start to finish. The trail is very close to the edge of the cliff at times but oh so worth the fright. It can be strenuous at times due to the steps and incline at the beginning but this levels out and the rest of the hike is relaxing and easy. My favorite part: very few hikers on a Friday.

Love this trail!

Descent trail, new scenery for us. Would not want to do this trail on a hot day - lots of meadow walking. Trails marked okay, but sometimes hard to follow.

super boring and not well marked

Pretty boring trail. more of a horse trail (mowed grass path through a field) then anything else. it was fine, but nothing exciting.

Really amazing trail. One of the best in hocking hill area. Beware of sharp cliffs. You can hear the water fall around the rim. Well marked but can be a bit tricky during rain.

Nice hike wear appreciate footwear, can be muddy. But still loved it.

Great variety with hills and nice views!

We live 8 miles away from this beautiful place. We visit often and love it. We photograph many areas and find that it doesn’t look the same twice which is always a plus. They’ve expanded the acreage and activities by a lot. We’re always excited to see what each season brings and what we’re able to capture photographically.

This trail is great, and the views are breathtaking....especially during the fall when the foliage is at its peak!

We debated hitting the East and West Rim trail but decided we would push ourselves. This proved to be the best decision we made all day. The trail led us straight up the side of the gorge which was quite demanding. When the trail finally leveled out we were baffled. We had stumbled upon the best trail we hit all day. The trail followed the gorge edge overlooking the rolling hills in the distance and the tops of the massive mature trees in the surrounding area. Mangled roots and slabs of rock lined the trail with awe-inspiring views. What a perfect way to end our hiking for the day.

Lovely, lightly used trail. But I'd classify this trail as "easy"; graveled, flat path with little elevation gain/loss.
