Nice walk close to home. Great place to with the family or the dogs. Lots to explore.

Lincoln woods is a gem of a place one can feel a deep woods experience even though a major highway is always less than 2 miles away .

Excellent trail. Well marked with some nice views along the way. Might be better suited as an Easy than Moderate, but a really enjoyable walk and hike. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Okay, so I'm still a beginner hiker...this was hard! I really enjoyed myself, don't get me wrong, but yikes! There's a lot of climbing boulders, up and down. Looks easier for kids and people in great shape...but great exercise!

Awesome.. easy trail.. great for walking, jogging, dogs

Well maintained and well marked trails. We spent several hours there and only got to a few of the trails. Moderately challenging hikes. Nice staff. Looking forward to going back. Minimal bugs right now despite the recent rains.

Perfect for what we needed - an easy hike with pretty foliage.

fun easy walk. bring your bug spray.

I would rate the level of difficulty as easy to moderate, you can walk it without encountering too many strenuous inclines. If you enter to the right, and stay on path you will be rewarded by a beautiful serene boardwalk path where deer are often seen drinking from the swamp. At the entrance to the forest there is accessible lake access for fishing and a lovely rushing dam. After the thaw or any significant rain fall you will need to step across some standing water. There is an interesting old gravestone along the way also.

nice give good work out

Not too challenging, but uphill for the first half mile or so. Trails are very well marked. Maps along the way. Some traffic.

Awesome ride :) but nice to be clean what's the while. But it's lots of fun riding your bike by the Bay.

Fail trail for biking
From Franklin 3.5 miles in path was only good for hiking where we were Met with a dump site awful. Turned around

When was the last time this trail was blazed? Too many unmarked trails. This could be a nice trail.

Had my 2 year old on my kelty backpack during the hike. It was gorgeous but I wouldn't recommend doing it since the rocks you had to go over were quick large.

trail was clean and well maintained other than others not cleaning up after their dogs!!! REALLY PEOPLE!!!!
Trail was a moderate hike lots of rough areas to trip on. Took our 2 Irish wolfhound crosses with us and they were very tired after yellow trail with some side drifting views. I will definitely hike there with them again.

Not technical mostly flats some ups and some downs. Only come here if your looking for an easy relaxing ride. Not fun for what I was looking for

The trails are ok, but very poorly marked, particularly the one with the red blaze. Decent option if you are looking for something close to the city.

Beautiful with lots of trails to choose from. Nice and quiet. Walk. Lots of rocks and roots on trails so watch for trip hazards.

Fun hike through the chasm. The rest of the trails were adaquete. It was a bummer to pay $10 for parking though since all trails were kind of short. But as far as $10 go, at least it goes to a deserving place. It’s easy to swerve in and out of the yellow and blue trails and other unmarked trails if you choose. It’s all pretty flat except the chasm. I drove an hour and a half, if you live farther maybe choose another, closer trail.

This trail was a challenge but I loved it! Took my best friend with me and we had so much fun! I just love climbing rocks and walking in trails!

Starting from my home at the Dover side of Pine Street you've got 10 min to bike to the top of Snow Hill then another 10 min to get to the top of Cedar Hill (Rocky Woods) then another 10 min to get to the top of Noanet Peak. I got the first two, have to rethink my way up Noanet. I will add Pegan Hill next and give myself another 10 min to do Quatre Femmes! I'd add Miller Hill but somebody built a mansion up there.

The kids and I love this place! Not overly taxing, but a great time.. Kids love sliding on the big flat rocks!

Went for a nice trail run here. Parked at the end of Lafayette Rd and ran to the other end of the yellow trail, then took the red-green detour on the way back. Overall, it was a great run with varied terrain. In some places, the roots and rocks required that I walk, but this was a very small portion. The canopy offered lots of shade and the trails were dry given the lack of rain. I only ran into 3 other people and a total of about 6 dogs. None of the dogs were on the leash, but that didn't bother me, as they were all well-behaved. Followed up with a double-dip cone down the road at Gray's to make it a great outing.
The main trails are relatively well-marked at intersections, although there were some other intersections with minor trails that were not. However, with a good idea of the direction I wanted to go and the All Trails app, I did just fine. Will definitely be back.
