It was a little longer than a mile, honestly wasn’t worth it. It was beautiful, don’t get me wrong but it’s so small and the fact you can’t swim in it anymore makes it out for a little disappointing. Other than that the trail has 7 bridges you cross before you get to the end, was super rocky and the scenic views were gorgeous.

Gorgeous and the water is a welcome cool off. Be prepared for crowds though.

excellent hike. beautiful

Great and easy walk. Recommend getting there early. Great views and people watching. People, please don't try to do this thing barefoot, I saw 4 people at the start trying to walk barefoot in the river... They probably didn't make it far. Buy some sandals or watershoes. Also, in general at zion don't bother with camping in the park, it stays so hot there in the summer months. Ask one of the park employees for dispersed camp zones. Stayed in one surrounding a lake and it was beautiful

Really awesome hike - short but steep and worth it. Saw a snake around 1 pm today. Definitely got lucky with parking!

Arrived at the trailhead around 4:45PM on Friday. Easy climb With most traffic coming down as we were going up. Only another 6 people at the lake at the same time. Still pretty, but looking rough. Since I was there in 2013 the lake is not as clean with trash was floating on the surface and foam covering the water up to about 10’ from shore. Disappointed and don’t expect to be back.

Pretty. Parking not an issue before 7am on a Saturday, and a lot less people to contend with. I have to say one of the best things about this is that no dogs are allowed on the trail. So rare to hike a mile without seeing a single poop bag or someone's special exception running around off leash.

Hiking back down around 9 there was a steady flow of people making their way to the top and the rangers were only allowing one car in when another car would leave.

The lake is amazing......such an unexpected "tropical" wonder in the mountains!!! Parking was very tough and the trail was a bit crowded- but well worth it!!!

This is just so fun. Make sure you have good shoes (that you're ok getting wet) the water is cold pretty much no matter when you go and the rocks in combo with the cold water will kill your feet.

Great hike! The views were amazing! Totally worth the climb.

Really beautiful hike. A nice short warm up for an easy 14’er. We finished at 10 am and the park rangers were already blocking off the parking lot. Lots of people and kids for a Friday, We started out around 7:30 a.m., but stopped a few times for pic’s and a snack. Glad we got this one checked off before the restrictions are enforced next year...

The Lake and Spouting Rock (don’t miss this) are some of the most beautiful rewards at the end of any Colorado hike we’ve done. Just beautiful. The hike itself is pretty short, but it is challenging. We started at 8am and it was crowded throughout. Total time was 1:45 with a generous break at the top. Be aware there is a sign that says they are going to reduce access starting in 2019.

A easy hiking to the river, with the mode of expectation of hiking in the river!

Very cool experience hiking up the river. Would have been a little easier if the water wasn't so muddy. Definitely get there early morning to avoid the crowds. We were headed back out around 12:30 and the amount of people just entering was mind blowing, especially since all the flash flood warning suggest being out of the narrows by early afternoon. Way too many people for my liking.

I drove from denver but If my friends and family want to see it while in town Im going to do the train trip to enjoy the views. Drivn took 3 hrs with construction traffic while amtrak is 5 hrs, bring a bike rental with you to take a short bike ride to the trail head. Either way you get there, the view is absolutly worth it. This is a tourist trail, busy.

Fantastic hike!!! Never gets old. This is a must if you visit this area. However, there were A LOT of people mid-morning though. It was pretty upsetting to see people cutting the switchbacks, touching the water, and climbing in areas that DISTINCTLY said to not enter. Makes sense why they are going to restrict access next year.

It was a great hike.

Amazing hike! Would suggest to go as early as possible as the crowds for the first few kms take away from the hike a little bit.

Challenging hike. Great workout and completely worth the view at the top.

Great experience yesterday did this hike since Angels landing trail is still close but Planning of going back soon definitely a must do hike thru the river a little cold but so worth it !

Great hike, get out early to beat the crowds

Worth the effort.

I did not do the cave tour because tickets were sold out today so will give it 3 stars but the hike is a good cardio , I have enjoyed the workout. Next time will make sure to do the tour.

The trail’s as packed as the splash mountain line at Disneyland, and for good reason—this place is beautiful and accessible.

Meh. More for the workout, not the views.

Really neat, guide was very good he had a great sense of humor. $8/adult 800 people a day, then ask for tips. Not a fan of that! Worth seeing once.

Arrived from Tampa Florida at 1100 am in Denver and after getting settled in our hotel in silverthorne we wanted to stretch our legs a little while we acclimated in order to prepare for several days of hiking 14ers.

The drive to the trailhead was quite scenic and did not seem monotonous.

We arrived at the trail around 6pm and it required 45 minutes to get to the top. This trail is essentially accessible to anyone on 2 feet. We saw children as young as 3 and a woman in her early 80's.

The payoff at the top is well worth the hike.
We stayed 15 minutes at the top and required 30 minutes to descend.

Afterward we went to Glenwood Springs for Dinner then hit the Hot Springs to relax. after 9pm it is only $15.

An interesting and unique experience. Trekking poles were useful, particularly in the rocky areas. Headed in around 5:30 pm and it was relatively empty. About 20 degrees cooler which was great on this 100 degree day! Highly recommend.

Beautiful, I found this hike more difficult then moderate.
