Easy trail to the bluff with an amazing view!!!

Trail was well marked and easy to follow. It had rained the day before and there some slick rocks to contend with.

love the waterfalls, and huge rock formations along the creek.

Driving directions for starting at the bottom, on Hwy 136 going toward Trenton from Main Park Entrance, turn right into Canyon Park Estates, go about .4 of a miles and turn right onto Canyon Park Drive in about .2 of miles turn into park (watch for sign)
Beautiful trail runs next to the Creek all the way up ends (or begins) with 600+ steps, Hemlocks, Oakleaf Hydrangeas and other wild flowers, moderate hike, best after a rain.

This is a great little hike, although you could make it longer and keep going down other connecting trails. Parking is very easy at the Craven House, I think the previous review didn’t realize this. The view from the top is fantastic, a must do if you’re in Chatanooga.

Love this trail. I've been in and out of Sitton's for over 25 years. Nice, wide, trail w/ plenty of room to pass hikers and pets. :) Beautiful forest!

Excellent trail!

Great trail! Even in the snow!

No parking and really crowded

Just hiked here. Amazing views and a fairly easy trail if you hike a lot. Doesn’t feel like 5.9 miles in. I started at 7:30 and got back to my car at 12 and I hung around the overlook for about an hour. Feels more like 4 miles for the whole thing. Absolutely beautiful especially since the trees have started to change color!

Tried parking at Point Park, but the beginning of the trail there is not dog friendly due to steep steps made of metal grating. My dog couldn't handle them due to both the steepness and her paws falling through the grating, and there's no way around. So we went to the small Sunset Rock parking area and waited 30 minutes for a spot to open up.

Sunset Rock is a great place to see the sunset (obviously), but the Bluff Trail was poorly marked and had many sections of tricky footing with no real payoff because the great views are at the parking areas. Wouldn't do this hike again. Visit Sunset Rock - just a short walk from the road - but pick another trail in the area for a longer hike.

Enjoyed the steps cut through Indian Rockhouse and other scenic spots along the way. The view at Snooper's Rock is a must see and a great photo op. Took my dog on this hike and she had a great time.

The parking area is on the right and clearly marked. There is a trail that intersects directly to the parking area, but that's not the one for this hike. This trailhead is across the dirt road.

Nice hike!

Important! There is only a small parking area with no turnaround. NO trailers. We were visiting in the area with our kayak trailer and decided to hike here. After turning on to the little road, we hoped for a wider parking area further on. We had to disconnect, reconnect and park down the hill. This is not the reason for the rating, just to warn others from out of town. A sign would help..

Nice little run. Some steep sections. Clearly marked. Keep your head up for mountain bikers.

Enjoyed the hike with my wife and our dog. I plan on going back to trail run it soon.

Easy access to wooded area & fun for dogs

Best view of a hike we have done. Pictures don’t do it justice.

Wonderful trail. Howecer, one way was a little too much for a 4 & 6 year old, so once we made it down to Craven's we had a Lyft driver bail us out and drive us back up to Point Park.

What part of Stringers Ridge Trail can I enter near 1131 Stringers Ridge Rd “The Pinnacle”

More strenuous than Enterprise South; good for mountain biking, too. Even the easy green path, Rolling Green, has lots of elevation change to it.

Not a great venue for just walking and talking; the paths are too narrow.

Easy hike for a fabulous view!

loved the view from sunset rock.

There are no mountain bikes allowed on this trail (there's another mountain bike trail at the park) so I don't know what the bikers are talking about, or they've reviewed the wrong trail. Same with the pier. It's not on this trail. I ran the route pictured. Ran the outer loop and inner loop 2. Horrible. Poorly maintained. MANY felled trees. I mean almost impossible to traverse in some areas. Lots of litter. Broken glass, beer cans, food bags. I think I may be the first human to have run this thing this year. Spiders galore. Covered in them. Knocked down about a hundred webs. Poorly marked signage and very narrow. Water is pretty though. 63rd fastest trail 10k I ever did, so don't come here if you're looking for speed.

I loved this hike! There’s a parking lot on the right side
Of the road by the CT sign. There’s a single wooden portapotty there also if you need. The trailhead is on the left. Go to Indian Rockhouse and end up at Snoopers. It’s a fantastic hike and that view never gets old! Best sunrise in Chatta❤️

Great hike with the hubby!!

This trail has two points of entry, one is at the top and you come down through the falls or you can come up the gulch from the valley floor via the Canyon Estates entry. We already went to the falls and didn't want to subject ourselves or our dog to the 600+ steps from the top down. The trek up the valley is a pleasant 2 mile walk with various changes in elevation. The trail is wide enough for two people to hike side by side. There are some paths off the the main trail that lead to pools. It can be slippery. but your dog can have a dip to cool off. If you plan to go to the falls, please bring some boots for your dog. The grate steps and grate bridge can hurt and possibly injure their feet.
