I am 50 years old had a heart attack in June of 2017. And we made it up and thru the whole trail. Don’t kid yourself, it’s difficult but beautiful. It was awsome

Beautiful views and great workout!

little slick

Awesome trail - easy to follow, great beginner snowshoe, but spectacular views make it perfect for all levels of skill. Didn’t do the loop - just went out and back on the trail side, decided to nix the road section. Lots of fresh powder as of today, but it won’t last long!

This is a great winter get away!! Close to Bend and a good cross country ski!! On the weekend it is really crowded, but on the week day it is a good choice!! The views are spectacular and if you like waterfalls it is a must see!!

easy to get to for a quick and easy walk. the falls are a nice place for a quick rest before turning around. looked like the trail went on although we didn't go past the falls. looked like a nice place for fishing along the trail and swimming just past the falls

One of my favorite hikes! Went in early July, great views with lots of butterflies and blooming flowers! Bit of an incline to the top but it’s well worth it.

Loved it. Was pretty cold around 45-50 degrees in the cave. Kids enjoyed every minute until they got a little cold but still loved it.

AMAZING hike and views! Definitely a difficult hike, but worth it! My all time fav!

perfect easy hike, I suggest you keep on going after checking out the falls!

Please park in usfs parking lot at trail head not in front of gate during winter months. Too many rigs block access to the home owners further down the road. Nice walk but respect those that live near by.

Love it when I'm there to hike, hate it when I'm there to climb. But this trail always commands some of the most breathtaking sunsets in Oregon. Always a top pick.

Amazing hike, perfect weather just the right amount of challenge.

This is my favorite trail in Bend!

Great hike with great views.

It was super scary but totally worth it!!!

Great trail. Took my kiddos ages 12 and 9 they did awesome and enjoyed the hike, I think their favorite part was seeing a bald eagle.

Nice hike in Oregon's "Other Crater Lake" area. Great views along the hike, especially of an immense lava flow below.

Breathtaking but hard

This was an easy hike. Majority of it is walking up a gravel road but the scenery isn't horrible. Tried to get back to double falls but encountered to much ice on the trail. There is also a trail to get behind the falls and to the bottom

Pretty hard not going to lie, but well worth it! Decided to go left on the trail and hike by the river before going up Misery Ridge and I think it was way better than going up all those stairs. Beautiful hike!

Beautiful quick hike but crowded especially in the peak season. I will only hike this one in the winter....

A great hike and a great workout. This hike needs to be on every Oregonians bucket list.

This was such a beautiful place to hike. Not sure I agree with the moderate rating though. This was a tough trail.

My favorite time of year to hike the Green Lakes trail is in the late summer to see the wildflowers. I've also been in the late fall (snowfall permitting) though and it was just as beautiful!

Unbelievable to hike on New Years Eve. Moderate traffic. Well groomed. Definitely layer clothing as was warm on way up and had to put coat/beanie back on for descent down. River trail back is stunning and boasts great views of climbers.

Loved the view, this was an absolutely beautiful winter hike! I’d definitely recommend hiking past the top of the first falls, following the river for another mile or so to Double Falls. Level, flat and easy for a majority of the way, the last 1/4 mi to the top of the Falls provides a slight incline for children. The trail loop will begin on a service road, but the loop back was much more enjoyable, in the woods, and secluded. When you hit Silverlake Lodge at the end, the single road bridge next to it will bring you back to the start.

We hiked out and back along the road, in about 4-5 inches of snow. Very flat, easy hiking even with all the snow. Falls were gorgeous. Beautiful day. Our dog loved it too.

Gorgeous views the entire way, good room for hiking with company side by side rather than one behind the other. Family friendly!

Short beautiful hike. Did it today with the husband and minions, ages 6 and 8. Only .05 miles to the falls from the trailhead. We’ll be back when it’s warmer.
