I wasnt sure about parking and just parked on the cement pad, no body else was there, mid day just as storm clouds were rolling in. Gorgeous path, i got off path more than once following scenery. I saw several large tortoise and a white tail deer. A few really great spots to rest , picnic tables under awning and spots next to river. Yes a few flooded spots but not so bad as a way had not been made manageable today. get out and enjoy. The live oaks and pines are beautiful.

Added the trail to the ocean.

A nice relaxing walk usually ... but if it has been rainy make sure to wear LOTS of insect repellent, as the mosquitoes here seem to be extra bad. Don’t see wildlife very often but I usually go here for exercise rather than wildlife viewing.

This is the best trail I’ve hiked in Florida so far. I’ve hiked this trail 4 different times and came across something new and exciting each time. There’s a lot to see here. Not your average boring Florida trail. There’s a lot of points of interest to discover. I came across beautiful flora, wild deer, hills, lakes, open plains, overlook of a river, jungle-like trails, bridges, bridge bells, orange trees, everglades, power poles, and great kayak spots. It’s also a very long and dynamic set of trails. You will spend hours in here. People aren’t lying when they said that this place was a giant maze. It is. You could easily get lost in here as the trail marks are confusing. To me, however, getting lost is part of the fun. Why do you hike anyway? Isn’t it for adventure? If you’re looking for that easy one-way, boring, tourist-friendly trail, you won’t find it here.

This has been thr best trail I have ran in all of Florida!
Easy to navigate. Mind the tree roots, and also the low branch around mile 2. End half of trail was mushy. There is a hiking trail that is an up and back cutting through the middle of the MTB that you could easily bail out. No mosquitos [midday] and I observed ZERO ticks, yay!
FYI, my Strava clocked me in at 6.3 miles! Not the 5.2 that is listed on alltrails. Im sure not a big deal for a biker, but running it made a difference.

So much fun.. we hiked the mountain bike trail, it was pretty cool. will definitely be back.. much longer than 2.9 miles

Lots of Hard loose hills to climb, fast descents, not too dangerous

lots of fun on a specialized diverge but the bumpy road to get there sucked next time ill take the other interance

Went in March and there weren’t any mosquitos. This trail is interesting. It’s an out and back with a loop in the middle. It crosses train tracks and has a couple of bridges. Mostly covered though a small portion is open. I would imagine this trail wouldn’t be good for trail running because majority of the trail ground has unearthed tree roots. Kid friendly. Brought my 3 and 4 year old and they did okay.

Went out there today, and it was absolutely beautiful, you can tell the water flooding height on the trees, however it's not flooded as of right now. A perfect mix of tall pines, saw palms, tons of wildlife of all kinds, sugar sand stretches allowing you to see all the different wild life prints, and opens up to a beautiful stretch of the St.Johns river. Absolutely beautiful.

awesome trails. pretty difficult. wooded. fell a few times it was a good day!

Went today. The trail system has definite possibilities. Unfortunately the trails are very badly marked. With 3 to 5 different entry points it is easy to get turned around and end up 5 miles away from where you started with no idea of how to return to the correct parking area. Maps showing where you are would be a definite improvement.

The map on here shows the mountain bike trail. There's also a couple walking trails that are great. You'll have no problems, the trailhead has a map and the trails are marked very well.

My only complaint, is that the hiking trail was not pre-loaded, but the biking trail was. But all in all, it was a very nice hike got to see the ocean the scenery was nice, I got 4 1/2 miles out of them

Lots of fun not for beginner.

Hiking trail was easy. We went around 5pm. Pretty views.

Love this trail hands down, one of my favorites, very nice.

Parts of the trail was extremely Flooded yesterday when I attempted to Hike it. I tried to hike in from both directions on the loop and only made it about a 1/4 of a mile each way before I had to turn around both times and go back out to the parking lot. This trail is very secluded and seemed to have a lot of wildlife on it. I seen several diffrent types of birds, trac marks from Hogs, Deer and a Bear. I also seen several skin sheds from snakes along the trail. Although I was not able to completely hike the entire trail, I think it is a good trail to hike and will diffently check this one out again.

There are 3 or 4 trails here that you can bike. A very easy, and flat trail that runs along side the mountain biking trails straight to the beach. This is a good warm up. Then there is the blue marked intermediate trail (5.5 mile loop) and the black diamond trail with double black diamond Cloud 9 section. Intermediate trail has easily avoidable technical features and some shrubbery you ride against, with tree branches to duck under. Fun ride - use bug spray!

Tight turns big roots with lots of technical places most with a bypass but cloud 9 no bypass very difficult lots short technical hill climbs with narrow bridges and steep rocky descents not for the beginner

Good trail lots of technical climbs and decent, jumps, tight turns loose sand in spots but had a great time not for beginners

The "walkers" trail was super easy with nice running space. The bike trail was technical and a gun challenge. No bikers so we were able to run a good section. Loved it.

Really nice fire roads that snake all over and go forever!

Hard is right. Super technical and the climbs are short but very steep. The trails are marked but still not easy to follow. Its like a bowl of spaghetti in some spots

Love this loop. I race cross so I gotta a put mucho hours on the bike. Road can get lame sometimes. This place is perfect for a long easy spin through the woods. 10 mile loop so 3 laps is 3 hours of mellow single track bliss. Maybe I'm hyping it a bit, but it's still a great trail. Haha.

The hiking (red) trail is only 1.25 miles one way. It's definitely not a hike, more of a trail to stroll by on. Very easy!
It is accompanied by a part elevated (boardwalk) trail that leads to the beach, which was beautiful for the dogs to play on.
The "Hard" difficulty level is for the mountain bike trails. Which are usually occupied by bikers, so we haven't gotten a chance to hike them.
We, instead, decided to walk all the way to Washington Oaks Gardens SP, via the beach, and enjoyed running about and photographing the coquina rocks.
