I’ve been dying to do this hike for years and it definitely did not disappoint! Hiked this over the weekend - there was lots of snow (you couldn’t even see the lakes), and our micro spikes were the reigning champions of the day. We hired partway up the slope past the upper lake toward Matier Glacier, which lended some amazing views and back-patting. Saw that others had skinned up; there were a couple of people camping as well - wish we’d have brought our tent!

Very scenic hike with woods, lakes, mountains and a glacier at the end. Fairly crowded but did not detract from the beauty of this hike.

->2017 01 23 Make it to the top and sleep there! After looking the trail a bit for the last strench, we made a detour with zig zag because we couldn't see the red signs
Av speed 1,6

->2017 12 07 Went back again but had to stop before the last strench, the trail wasn't marked, ice on rock and too much snow in some area. As a safe person, we dinid't hike to the top to sleep there :-( We could park the car (4x4) up the 2 km of the road.

Absolutely stunning... words and pictures can't describe what I saw there! Very steep but 100% worth the views. It was a little snowy and slightly icy. Pack some water and a good snack and just sit at the top of the upper lake and take it all in.

Easy hike with clear trails and stunning scenery. Great during the summer and fall.

Heavily trafficked trail. I suggest going early am on weekday. Gorgeous views of 3 lakes and option to camp at the 3rd lake. Extremely busy on weekends but worth the crowds. Easy trail to hike but does have elevation gain.

Beautiful, steep in places, some rock hopping to the upper lake but well worth it for the view. Avoid trail at weekends if you can.
In my top 3 scenic BC trails.

Great hike! Not for beginners, though, as it’s quite uphill. Be sure to wear proper footwear (hikers) and go early. Trail gets busy with tour bus travellers late in the morning.

Trail is very well maintained and the view is spectacular!

Lakes are super nice but it's more a catwalk than a trail, tourists are straight out a magazine. White shinny sneakers everywhere.

湖光山色,!所有的疲劳都可以省略!

Nice one! 1 foot of brand new snow on sept 20 to make it harder!
But it worth the efforts when you finally reach the lake :)
So far one on the hardest trail I’ve done as going down was almost as difficult than going up

Difficult but rewarding.

One of my favorites. Just went again on Sep 15th. Quieter than last one we went. Beautiful weather. Clean trail.

WARNING! This hike has become very popular. You must go early. The parking lot was full by 845am. We were able to park at an overflow lot just south of the main lot. We started the trail about 9am. Beautiful hike. The first hike to the lower lake takes just a few minutes. The hike to the middle lake is really hard. It's almost all totally up hill. It is difficult to navigate through the massive amounts of people. The lakes and glacier are fantastic, worth a difficult hike. However it is hard to fully enjoy. Once you arrive at the lakes you can't hang out and walk around without accidentally ruining someone's photo-op.

this one is a lot of climbing. no rest. but very good. scenic at the top 1/3

The prettiest hike I've ever done. Stunning lakes and waterfalls. A must do early in the morning. Far too busy late morning. Becomes a total zoo and you really lose that serene feeling g if this hike.

The most jaw-dropping, scenic place I ever been to. Can't wait to get back up there for another overnight.

Gorgeous glacial lakes make this a must do if you're in the area and haven't seen that turquoise water. Only 4 stars given it is pretty busy trail, but definitely still worth it.

Best hike of my life.

Varied landscapes, managable for out of shape hikers like me, if you take your time.

The path gets a bit hard to see at the highest point.

Amazing steep but clear trail with a super nice but accessible scramble before the lake. Sleeping at the top was an AMAZING experience. Went on June 25 and it was still freezing at night so bring a warm sleeping bag or sleep in the hut!
