Very challenging and love the hike

Easy hike about .5 mile to the falls but we kept going for a little ways. Easy but pretty hike very much worth it if your ever in the area.

The BMTA volunteers did an amazing job on this Re-route! So clean and beautiful! It was so nice to be the only ones there! Peaceful and serene to just sit and listen to the sound of the water, birds and leaves blowing in the slight breeze! Thank you!

Nice hike. We combined it with Stanley Gap. The falls are great. Be careful if at the top, a young man slipped and fell when we were there. Several people at the falls, but that should be expected, especially in the summer.

This trail has a good mix of ups and downs. Great for exercise

Great fun for the whole family.

no dogs allowed....?!

Love this hike. The view is spectacular and the hazy mountain tops are a treat to the eyes!

Great trails for families. One of my favorite ones.

Beautiful falls. Great for family photos. But can be quite crowded. Nice little hike. Can be steep in some sections but nothing too difficult.

Tough for some but a must for most.

Wonderful trail with a great view. Felt safe the entire time. Only saw a few people. Just make sure you follow the signs carefully or you might end up in a different parking lot.

Fantastic easy hike. Doing the whole loop gives a decent workout. Shaded. Beautiful view at the observation deck, as well as boulders to climb around.

Good hike. The course is a bit confusing if you don't know that the blue tags do not continue on the AT, which is marked in white. So, if you start from the trailhead and do the loop counterclockwise, it's blue to Jarrad Gap, then white for the AT, and then back to blue for Slaughter Creek to complete the loop.

Great views but not a great hike.

Pretty view of the falls. One of the more crowded hikes along the Chatahoochee

Short but uphill hike to the falls. One bench about halfway up to rest. Path is well maintained. Falls are pretty but I thought they would be bigger. Lots of white rhododendrons in bloom first week in July.

The previous gentleman was not kidding about the ticks - I have pulled NO LESS than two dozen off my dog and me since yesterday, and that was after repeated coats of bug spray! The trail is not well trafficked and so there are spots that are a bit overgrown, which adds to the charm. I walk with a cane and there are parts that were too narrow to use my cane next to me. This is not a complaint, just be prepared for it. One tree covers the path, but it has been there for a while and is not too much of a challenge to get over. The trail follows a pretty strenuous down, and then up, hill hike in a relatively short period of time. Even my four-legged companion was wiped after this one. The lack of city noise and other hikers make this a top hike in my opinion.

Took the family. We went to the falls, then a bit up the Benton-Mackey for only a total of ~2 miles. Nice little hike. The falls was the best part.

Moderate is definitely what I’d use to describe the hike. The views of the falls are definitely something to come for! Unfortunately, as some other reviewers mentioned, there is a bit of a littering problem at the base of the falls. Besides that, it was great exercise with some beautiful scenery! I’ll definitely be back and bring some less experienced friends with me so they can get into it and enjoy hiking like I do :)

Great little hike to the falls with the family!! My youngest is 4 and did great! But make sure you bring the swimsuit in the summer!

Liked the hike, but could have been marked better along the way how far away you’re from the parking lot, etc.

This place isn't anything special. Its always crowded too.

If you want to see the Falls/Cascades first just go in the exit and come out the entrance it’s a short loop!

Very pretty, good workout, but very crowded

No dogs allowed...

Partly under construction and limited trail markers and maps.

Great family hike! Amazing view from the top.
