Closed due to Federal shutdown. FYI.

Very nice hike enjoyed the water pools didn’t get to see any waterfalls but well worth the hike.

Short, a nice first stretch of the legs after a long drive to the park.

The new bottom half trail is much easier to follow and it really helps preserve the habitat on the bottom part of the falls. The new trail takes you directly to the second of the 3 falls. There is plenty of water running from the top of the falls. The weather was perfect for this great hike.

Great little hike!

I took the Eagle Peak Trail with my 11 yr old son this weekend. Great hike, views on the peak were more than worth the hike out. planning on falls trail after coming rains. Well worth the drive out.

Hiked yesterday 1-12-19. Maybe 3-4 inches of snow at the top, no need for snow shoes. Always a good hike with sweet views of Shasta at the top (make sure to hike a few minutes past the official “end of trail” sign for better views to the north)

Stop in the visitor center and ask the volunteers to play the Ghost Mountain 15 minute movie before you head up. It gave us a different perspective after doing that.
Beautiful views and well marked trail in this protected area.

One of my favorite protected areas in the park. Not only the pictographs but if you look you can find other signs of the tribes that visited this area years ago. Going past the pictographs to smugglers cove is worth it for the view.

Good nature walk that keeps steep fast but a great view from the top. Crowded at beginning but empty by the end.

Sweet hike! The view at the end is awesome and is not crowded at all.

Really amazing drive, my friend in a RWD Tacoma made it with no problems, highly recommend this trail to beginners

It’s ok but not that great hard to find which way to go trail everywhere no sign where does star we when around trying to find the flag .

Unas vistas hermosas el sendero súper bien. Agua corriendo de las cascadas ,solo si es recomendable llevar zapatos de montaña.
El camino para llegar mucha curva pero vale la pena súper recomendable el lugar.

Hike was great but the road getting there was nerve-wracking! One lane, blind turns on steep cliffs with no guard rails, gravel roads for the last couple miles, through water. Wasn't sure we were going the right way but google maps worked. Bring a four wheel if you have one and get ready for white knuckles on the Russian Roulette road but maybe I"m the only one who felt that way. So glad we made it back. Hike had amazing scenic views!

Loved this. Fun, challenging trail with nice views along and from the top. Slid a few times, watch the loose rock!

We deviated from the trail (shortened the distance) as we planned on doing multiple hikes. We started at the Angeles Crest Highway at the base of Winston Peak. We took the PCT trail to the left of the dirt road and hiked on it until we rejoined the dirt road about a mile down the tail and then proceeded on the road to Cooper Canyon Campground. We then rejoined the PCT hiking towards Winston Ridge and continued on the PCT until it returned to our starting point. This route is about 5.5 miles and has an elevation gain of about 1300 feet. I would estimate that about half of the trail was snow covered. It was a very enjoyable hike. I gave it four stars only because there was only one spot that gave a good vista view.

Best part about this hike is climbing around on all of the different rock formations. We spent hours scrambling around and trying to get to the top of each pile of rocks. So much fun, and an experience very unique to Joshua Tree NP.

It’s not a traditional hike, but it’s still a must-do. Be careful about not missing the parking lot. Take a look at the map and use common sense rather than blindly following the driving directions through the app. I enjoyed this trial because of the elevation gain. You start huffing a puffing! I’d love to try camping down there.

Part of this trial is a more popular because it intersects with Battery, the photo location everyone takes the quintessential Golden Gate Bridge photo at. Walking to this lookout spot after Kirby Cove is a must! Don’t worry, you won’t miss it.

Pretty views of the water

Short loop around the area. Boulders to climb and play on. Very quick with informative placards. Good for families.

Very popular. Beautiful but lots of people.

Went here Sunday 1/6/2019 for the first time. Pretty easy getting to the falls and a bit winded coming back due to incline. Not hard though. It was so gorgeous and zero people until coming back. Waterfalls were running, I'm curious to see them during Springtime. I was able to see where the other trail was and it definitely would have made for a more difficult trek, this 'new' path was nice. Great views and lovely weather once the sun came out.
One thing that I must add that was a bummer was the amount of trash at the trailhead. There's plenty of trashcans but the wind probably blows it out or animals rummaging. Cans could probably use lids.

Great walk. Somehow in hilly SF, there are a lot of flat nature hikes and walks. This one has more incline which is nice. I suggest walking there and back rather than walking the loop so you can enjoy the coastal breathtaking views instead of the road. We decided to not turnaround or take the loop and instead we kept walking to Baker Beach, then through the Presidio and finally into the Marina for lunch. It took about 2 hours 15 mins or 7 miles and my Fitbit recorded I burned 780 calories!

It was a blast and we were exhausted after, but I couldn’t believe all the fantastic views we had! After, we Lyfted back to our car, but we could have Scooted or Jump Biked because the ride was through the Presidio and neighborhood streets. Excellent trek!

What an amazing gift in our back yard. Can’t wait to go again! It was a long journey for my kids but the payoff was HUGE and well worth it. Felt like we could see for eternity.

I just did this hike. it's much easier on the new trail. I jogged part if the way down and it only took 28 mins. the way back up took me about 38 mins. the falls were flowing pretty good.
Note - you no longer have to buy the Cleveland forest adventure pass to go to this hike.

This is a great hike close by in San Diego. It’s pretty steep and rocky so definitely wear hiking shoes or shoes with very good grips. I’d also recommend going on a cool day or very early as there is no shade at all. It’s easy to get confused where the right trail starts so be sure to go in towards the left where the power towers are.

Could be amazing! The amount of trash and shot gun mess (and graffiti) was insane.
