Beautiful trail in the middle of the city!

Honestly don’t walk it unless you’re prepared and it’s early in the day. The walk is very leisurely but is extremely long, expect around 4-5hrs to complete the walk. Gorgeous scenery.

Great for a walk with the dog. Super easy.

Nice loop for a trail run, but it’s clear that the city has been neglecting the park; there is a lot of garbage along the trail with some areas that feel like hurdles. Also, no one has been restocking the hand sanitizer in the restroom.

Took the dog and it was great! A little narrow in some spots but nice views.

can complete in under an 1.5 hours on bike. I happen to live by this trail and love the far west end in weasel head. if you go off the paved road there is some great hidden gems and you don't even feel like you're in the city at some points. Once back on the paved trails it's a fairly busy area.

Lots of waterfowl and owls

Beautiful view, right on the water, and super close to home... doesn’t get much better.

It was a great walk. Saw deer, ducks, bobcat. Very nice. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Easy trail. Nice that it is close to the city. Nice trail with lots of trees and birds. Bring bug spray, lots of mosquitos. It is a nice walk, not really a hike as much. Beginning of the trail is biking and walking, lots of bikers at the start but once you get into Weaselhead trail no bikers allowed. A few muddy spots but overall not too bad. Nice and quiet trail, not too busy. Enjoyed it, minus the mosquitos.

Such a cute place! It’s nice to not have to go to far for a little bit of the “outdoors” the benches all along the walk were nice! You could sit and have a snack and enjoy the scenery!

great for dog lovers

great for kids! calming views. bring a bike, it's a large area and you'll want to see everything .

Calgary has a rare opportunity now that these slopes are being returned to the city as a park to maintain a piece of wild land in the city and for hiking / mountain bike trails to make an inner city tidal system (connecting with Beaumont & Tuscany) into a real legacy for our city.

Took the kids not many birds but lots of deer and very serene. Great for mindful walking.

I completed this trail on a weekday and I am glad I did as portions of this walk were quite busy with bikes, runners and walkers. The trail is a good length with some slight challenge for beginners-those wanting to challenge themselves with a distance hike as opposed to elevation.

I just love this trail! Fell a couple of times, but it was fun. I would recommend doing the trail, Safari Planet... if you’re ok with moderate mountain biking

I did this trail with my son, stayed one night in Calgary and found an easier one to walk. Nice one and very easy!

I did the whole trail by walking.

It is beautiful but quite long.

Next time, I will get the bike an sunscreen!

Lovely trail. Beautiful flowers

Easy walk, in the neighbourhood. Can be buggy at times .

Great place to take the kids for a walk or bike. Paved and once away from Main roads it's gorgeous. Good for inner city escape

Nice views of downtown but windy as heck up on the hill. Very short, but there is some nifty information boards and lots of doggos to be spotted.

This is an easy walk and lovely easy mountain bike trails through forest. Great area to introduce small children to biking and trail running. Take the trail leading from the bathroom building, that goes into the forest . Great 100-200m trails in there

Lovely single track bike trails. i’d rate easier because a beginner mountain biker or kid could do these. Such a gem inside the city. We went left after the bridge near elbow drive (not on trail) and wound up on a steep rooty climb up the ridge. Basically the more closely you follow (or ascend) the ridge the more technical trails you can hit up. Easier ones run along fish creek itself

Gorgeous family friendly trails great for trail strollers & balance bikes. Follow the trails alongside the river

I walk about 5 hours. total is 18.5km.

Hurry while it lasts

A grate ride, but most of the trails are being torn down so get riding.
