Pretty trail. Can get pretty busy, kind of one lane traffic so one side needs to step out of the way. Wonderful views once you get out of the woods. But of a truck uphill on the return, but totally worth it.
Beautiful out there today. Wildflowers are just starting. Very crowded and back up is a challenge.
The trails have been pretty damaging because of the fires lots of obstacles and the bridges are not in use
Good trail but gets more challenging at the waterfall and water crossings and at the end. I went the morning after a rain and a few puddle but mud was not a problem. If I had small kids I would turn around at the cave. The rest of the trail is pretty but not exciting until you get to the water. Uphill is tough, don’t go too late in the day
I went on a Tuesday afternoon, I was the only person on the trail., very easy, the trail is completely paved, there is no shade so the summer time I could imagine would be very hot. there are 2 bridges my dog had a hard time walking over. There are also 2 caves to explore. It's a nice easy 7 mile round trip hike/walk.
Trail was in good condition and no creek crossing was challenging (sadly not much rain lately)
Trail is beautiful. Easy on the way there. Moderate on the way back. Hikers do not care about covid to wear a face mask. I suggest hiking early in the morning
Great views on this hike. Crosses a small waterfall and there is a cave on the side of the trail. It’s steep at times and is mostly uphill on the way back, definitely tiring for me but I’m not used to all uphill. Very much worth it, just remember lots of water! It gets sunny on a good portion of the hike.
beautiful, don't leave your trash
Beautiful trail, nice workout on the way back up, the river was clear and cold, not too busy on a Sunday afternoon. Would do again
Great hike! 75% cliff side with river view. Spent an hour at the creek. It was sunny and awesome. Hike back was not steep, moderate.
I found cave
Devastated by wildfire, which led to an eerie hike. Didn't see one bird or mammal, but there was one butterfly and a few spiders had set up shop. All bridges have been burned to ruin, so expect to climb and hop over stream crossings. The waterfall at the end remains spectacular, even if the bridge to the viewing platform is gone.
Great foothill hike. Varied terrain and easy to follow trail. Try and catch this trail in the spring.
Beautiful!
