CA Easy Dog and/or Kid Friendly Map

A lot of new construction happening. There’s a rope swing on the side that’s fun.

Really neat nature walk (considering it's roughly 0.2 miles one way lol) it's a very interesting cave. Despite it being really short it's a definite must visit as the surrounding area is really interesting as well. Got to see a group setting up the area for a future Toyota commercial so that was also cool.

A pretty short and neat trail. Just for some walking and great for dogs. The cave is pretty cool and small. Would go back again.

Lots of parking if you come around 7-7:30. After that it gets packed on a Saturday.

Closed. Fire.

The trail is closed :(. Due to fire damage!

Fun easy walk with beautiful views of the ocean. Dogs can be off leash in most of the park. Then we headed down on a trail to the beach. Turn left and it’s a dog beach-off leash and you can walk for miles. Few people once past first .5. A winner!

Fuck ya

Beautiful path that offers variety of scenery! This one will become a regular hike!

Such a beautiful nature I love the area

Fun and a well groomed trail!

A hike is always good, it could be much better

Easy hike and nice scenery around the lake.

Beautiful views of the ocean, nice place to take a walk or jog in the morning

Super beautiful, especially at sunset

An easy trail with great photos I have taken. Only problem was geese. Our dog ran off and started chasing them, and we had to yell and slam him down 3 times.

Honestly, the "hike" itself -- a short, gentle climb up a very wide fire road -- is nothing to write home about.

But, Holy Mackerel, Batman! It leads... to the Batcave! At least in the campy 60's TV series.

It's still a fun place to take out-of-town visitors or young kids. In addition to the small cave, stone labyrinth, and views of the Hollywood sign, you have a good chance of seeing some kind of shoot, as the caves remain a popular filming location.

Sweet place to relax next to the fall

Unfortunately, the Morrison ranch house, was lost in the Woolsey Fire. A true piece of southern California history. It had survived over 120 years. A picture of what remains at the site has been posted.

Good trails, lots of options for different routes.

This is a short hike with a bit of history. The Caves were leftover from mining operations in the 1920s and later used in the campy Batman TV series. Remember... "To the Batcave"?

Beautiful late day walk with my dog- Topa! Couldn't keep out of the water. She had a blast!

Beautiful cliff views, easy walk, but not for people easily frightened or knocked down by dogs - most dogs are off-leash. To increase cardio intensity, go down and back up the steep beach access trail on the North/Mountain side of the property. If you keep walking at the bottom you can reach public bathrooms, the Boathouse Restaurant, and the Pacific Ocean where there’s yet another off-leash area for dogs.

Love this area! It's a great little loop to bring your dog on to play and explore. I do get a little sketched out when dogs go to the edge, since it's a cliff and I've seen a dog get stuck on the cliff. Just be aware of that piece! We typically start at the bottom, parking at Arroyo Burro lot and make our way up. It's a gorgeous, fairly quiet, heavily wooded trail.

great trail for all! not overcrowded but lots of pups!

Perfect for a quick evening hike. We left at 4:30pm and was back in our car by 5:30. This included stopping for pictures.

Neat family friendly path with a connection to the nostalgic Batman show; https://youtu.be/xIxRC8AQeEU

Love this hike, it’s really fun for families with little kids bc it’s not too long and waters are fun to splash and swim in. Usually it’s got a nice crowd but plenty of space to spread out. Direct sunlight for most of the hike so bring water and a hat. Go during spring for the wildflowers.

not really a trail but if you near it do it. the view is awesome from the house. great for all ages because it's so easy
