The hike in and out isn’t too spectacular, going in you have a nice vista of the surrounding mountains but they quickly disappear. Personally I found this trail more annoying to descend, it’s very rocky and rutted up by horses (which, I’m not sure this is the best trail for horses...) if it’s wet at all it becomes very marshy and muddy. The payoff is more than worth it and I definitely plan to hike this trail again and spend time in the backcountry. There is much to see and enjoy. The hike out was not bad and the ascent is spread out. I only remember one difficult hill that’s about 2/3 of the way back, the rest is easily manageable. Also I only logged 640ft of elevation gain and I was back and forth on some of the trail multiple times so I think the 1000 some feet of elevation gain isn’t quite right. It’s definitely not that severe.

It is amazing what nature does. I was truly suprised when I saw this natural phenomenon!

Awesome! Bring flashlights to explore many cave areas.

Easy trail on 11/09/18. Good for beginners and children, especially wandering around in the lower caves, Jig Saw Blocks, Eden Falls and natural bridge. The more moderate up/down is at the top to the big cave; as said, probably not suitable for kids.

Mediocre trail but view of Whittaker Point is amazing and worth it. Drive to trail head is quite difficult on steep rocky roads. Once you get to parking the trail is the one on left side of road as you are driving up mountain. Lots of people hiking this trail for such a remote area.

Easy hike, obvious trail even covered with leaves. I’m out of shape, so if you think you are, too, don’t be afraid of this hike. The view is worth it! Just amazing. (Start early, preferably a week day, if you want some peace and quiet.)

I have enjoyed this trail multiple times and never get tired of exploring it and seeing it in different seasons! Highly recommend for beginners and experts

This hike was a beast for me! Partially due to the fact that my brother lied and said it was rated moderate to get me to join in, lol. It’s a workout both ways but the hollow is breathtaking. When we went the waterfall was pretty light but still beautiful. This was my entryway to the world of hiking and I will always remember it fondly ❤️

Fall leaves were remarkable! So beautiful!

Great trail, the fall colors were at their peak, even with the parking lots full and cars parked along the road it was still a nice hike. Once you are on the trail people spread out and find their own places so it's not wall to wall people all the time. It is still nicer in the middle of winter when their are no crowds and you have the place to yourself ....sometimes.

Easy hike. Great viewpoint

Beautiful views

Beautiful and hard...and worth it, for sure!!! Wear solid shoes, have your first-aid kit, and enjoy the views. Breathtaking!

Great trail to check out the fall colors if you can time it right. Easy trail. There is an incline at the end when you come back but nothing I thought was too bad. The trail is very popular and was very busy and parking was a mess. For how popular this trail is it would be nice to see them put in a parking lot someday. Great rock formations and the views from the bluffs are amazing. It’s a cant miss hike but don’t expect peace and quiet on the weekends.

Absolutely Beautiful! Some of the prettiest country I have ever seen.

Gorgeous views form the crag and trail leading up to it. Beautiful trees and creek crossings. Very busy during the Fall months and parking is difficult along the gravel road.

Rough road to get there , very short hike in the rain with two falls flowing !!

Long bumpy road to trailhead like others have said. In was easier than out as out felt mostly uphill and I'm old and out of shape, lol! Views were amazing! It was crowded on a October Monday including a hammock couple that had been there all day. :( we walked a bit further and found a nice spot for lunch and when we were done the place was empty. So if it's super crowded the day you come I recommend waiting around a little while and you will probably get it to yourself. I'd say this is a must do hike if your in the area.

Beautiful and amazing views! A bit crowded and commercial feeling but deff going to give it another try.

It was a difficult trail for me to complete, but I loved it.

Moderate hike but amazing view at the point. Rough road going in though

Busy trail on weekends.

awesome awesome. BUT. The signs are pointed wrong! when you get to the first fork and says Eden Falls to the right, go LEFT up the hill. Staying right takes you to a beautiful natural stone area with water running out a cave, and you can go through the cave and lots to explore. but that is not the Falls or Cob Cave. Follow both trails, enjoy, but don't miss the real falls!

great place becareful driving down recommend 4x

Very cool cave at end.

Beautiful hike! The road down to Kyles Landing is rough but saw several cars that made it. We had some water flowing so the waterfalls were running. This is a physically demanding hike if you are not in shape. At one point the trail splits, one goes along the creek bed and on goes up and is higher up but follows along the creek. Going to the Eye of the Needle is not for someone afraid of heights. You will use ropes to scale straight up 20-30 feet and then another section at a step angle where you will rope the rest of the way to the top before going through the tunnel to get to the Eye of the Needle. Will be back to do it again!

Very nice hike along the river. Several waterfalls. Was closer to 6 miles and took 3 hours. A bit more technical hike with rocks and some slippery parts.

Easy down not so easy up. Lunch with the view was worth it.
