great hike, every hiker in SoCal should do this at least once, however, it is very heavily travelled. if you enjoy some seclusion on your hikes this is not it

Done this one several times. Though it's best in late winter and spring because the water flow is stronger, it also makes for a greatsummer hie because it is 80 percent shaded and mostly easy climbing, when there is climbing. There is a section in he middle that gets a little steep, with some cliff exposure, but it is short. If you or your children are afraid of heights, you may want to avoid this one.

Love this hike, it’s really fun for families with little kids bc it’s not too long and waters are fun to splash and swim in. Usually it’s got a nice crowd but plenty of space to spread out. Direct sunlight for most of the hike so bring water and a hat. Go during spring for the wildflowers.

Easily accessible and an easy-to-moderate hike means lots of people and dogs. Go early to avoid owners letting their dogs run amuck etc. With all the wild fires raging, it’s nice to know there can still be a safe trail to hike within easy reach from the city. The water volume is pretty low now due to the late season, but there is still a small water fall to reward the hike.

Not too difficult, but it is all rocks so make sure you wear good shoes!

Beautiful hike, many river crossings and scenic sights. Bring lots of water and keep track of your steps because it’s easy to get lost since there’s almost not a single sign

The views were absolutely gorgeous! You can see all of LA! Breathtaking truly! Don’t miss out. It’s mostly uphill so it’s def a great workout. I ran pretty much the entire thing. Make sure you’re wearing gripped shoes cause on the way down there are a lot of rocks you can slip on!! Just be careful and enjoy!!!

I underestimated this hike a bit. It is definitely harder than I thought. But depending on the trail you take it could be easier. Landslides have removed part of the old trail so you have to travel on the dried up river bed which is fine. A lot of shade. Towards the end there was a clearing for sun but it is overall shady. Lots of river crossings. Bring some good boots or waterproof shoes. Some extra socks would be good too. Lots of fun! Very beautiful. Chances to see mountain goats which I saw none. Bungee jumping at the end. Expensive! $120. Wear some good pants. Wasn’t a lot of people there. There are some camp sites there as well. Next to a shooting range too.

Great short hike in a quiet setting. Paved narrow road all the way to the trailhead. I took the lower creek trail in. Creek is mostly dry and I lost the trail in a couple of spots and had to brush bash and boulder scramble. I took the upper trail on the return trip of the loop, easy to follow and open. I did not see anyone else the entire day on a Friday so it's a good solo get away with moderate elevation gain and loss.

Easy hike with plenty of people on a November Sunday late afternoon. Dry creekbed.

Great trail we went with our 2.5 yo that was able to do the bulk of the trail and we we're able to carry her the rest of the way.

Nice rolling walk at the bottom of canyon, quiet with not much use. If you climb the switchback trail you will get a real cardio vascular workout.

Very easy hike. Very packed on weekends. Plenty of shade. Bathrooms at trailhead were clean. Plenty of parking. The only reason for a three star rating was due to how many people were on the trail.

Great for a short hike not to hard, but little water coming down the falls.

This hike should be rated easy. It’s pretty much a strain hike with a little here and there incline. An excellent hike to take a dog. Lots of water through out the whole hike. It’s just long but not hard. However the drive to get there is a different story. It’s about 5 miles through winding rounds that you have to share with a lot of bicyclists. It’s only a two lane road. Which feels like forever when your trying to leave.

Nice hike, with much needed shade. Watch your step, don't be like me who talks more than pays attention to whats in front of him

Went on it today was pretty easy but had a great time and saw such wonderful views

The waterfall is minuscule this time of year. The trail offers a lot of shade and is moderately challenging. Some parts of the trail was super narrow. You need an adventure pass to park. If you get carsick easily, beware. The road is quite windy to get to the trailhead.

It’s unfortunate that it was so graffitied up, but it’s a nice little treasure you wouldn’t guess to be there. We saw a pack of rams on the way in which an experience in itself.

I really tried to like this hike, but it just didn’t do it for me. I’ve hiked quite a few trails in the Angeles Forest and this was one of my least favorite. Not much variety in scenery, many water crossings, trail not well marked, and the bridge itself was interesting, but a bit underwhelming. If you’re looking for a longer hike, I found the Zion Loop very enjoyable with lots of shade.

weird to see the graffiti and smokers but it's a good hike with kids.

I wish it would be longer but it’s still a nice stroll. Good place to get away and clear your head.

Nothing much to see and many people. Still a nice easy hike!

Some part of the trail is closed due to fire. But it is still nice. Trial is not easy for small dogs, lot of rocks. However, it is still nice. You can hear water fall while hiking which makes this trial wonderful.

Great area and very pretty with some Fall colors. Popular place with lots of people. Sadly many don't know trail ettitquette, but we were impressed that there wasn't much (any) trash or grafitti for the amount of traffic. To get to the falls go past it, take the left fork to the creek and go left along the creek. Or take the right at the creek to go to Bear Canyon.

loved it! simple yet beautiful!
