We went after an overnight snow storm. The snow was melting and the water volume was up because of it. The falls between the middle and lower pools had three different falls, with quite a bit of water volume. The upper falls was simply amazing. When you tried to stand by the upper pool, you were getting drenched, it felt like it was creating its own wind, and you felt very chilled.

This trail had way to many people on it for me to give it more than 4 stars. It was a true traffic jam at times between the middle falls and the upper fallls.

This is a very short trail, but it goes to an interesting phenomenon in the park. I read that the water that weeps from the wall started it's journey about 12,000 years ago. It has worked it's way down through the sandstone until it hits a layer it can not penetrate and so it comes out of the wall. There are some great views of Angels Landing and down the valley. Worth a quick detour.

This trail is very heavily trafficked trail that leads to the start of the lower narrows. It is a nice walk along the Virgin river but is built for the high traffic so you are walking on concrete or pavement most of the way up. We had great views of the waterfall on our hiking day because it has snowed the night before and the snow was melting.

This was a beautiful outlook spot! Really easy hike for my two and seven year old. A little steep but short. The color of the rocks when the sun was lower in the sky was gorgeous and the sun shone on the canyon that late so it wasn’t too cold of a hike. Seeing the water deep out of the rocks and shower down on us was fun and my kids loved it!

Did this the day after Angel's Landing, and we thought it was very cool to look down from Observation Point and see where we hiked the day before. The way up is tiring but lunch at the top was beautiful, and let us rest for an easy hike down. While not the most well-known hike in the park, I would definitely argue it's a must-do if you visit!

Super easy. Awesome hike with a great view at the end...although it was windy when we went so it got a little chilly up at the top.

Awesome hike...only able to go about .25 miles in the river because of some rain but it was just stunning.

Easy hike , beautiful when we went, three waterfalls overhead so amazing

Just stunning. Not too bad snow wise but there was a storm coming in after we left so it might’ve all changed. A must do if you’re in Bryce.

I actually liked the view here better than Angels Landing. And it wasn’t as crowded.

Super short trail but mostly upward. Some drop offs on the side but only once or twice. Great place to watch the sunset but get there early for a good spot if you plan on takin g pictures. Would definitely do again.

I’d imagine this hike is a lot prettier in the summer with more vegetation. The trail up is pretty and you get to see the falls that come from the pools above (falls isn’t the right word its more line streams that run off the side of the rocks). I’m definitely glad I did it but on my next visit I plan on choosing new hikes to explore instead of this one.

Trail is easy to get to a flat. I would recommend going early in the morning. It was quiet and serine walking through the water and having the canyon walls shooting up around us. Despite going the first week of March after we had turned around to head back around 10:30 there were numerous louder groups coming through so we were glad we had gone earlier.

If you follow the saying, " The point of the journey is not to arrive", you will find this hike charming. If you go with only the goal if seeing a cool cave, you will not be thrilled with this hike. If you go to enjoy the hike itself you will find it is a treasure. There are stunning arches up high if you just look up. There are pictureques spots all over. If you go between April and Sept you might see the Tropic dam running, and it can be spectacular. The Tropic Dam was built by pioneers using natural water routes for irrigation of crops, so when they are letting water down the route it is beautiful. Like all hikes in Bryce, if you are visiting and there is a chance you might see snow here a good pair or Spikes/ Crampons is super smart. The trails are often icy in Bryce and these thrown over your shoes makes it safe and not stressful. Driving through this area I just had to pull over at the visitors center and check it out. I didn't plan on this detor, but I kept saying, I want to see what is just around this corner, or just around that rock for it was all so very beautiful. I ended up hiking around here for over a half hour, and I have it on my list to go back and do more of it for it was surprisingly great area. Here is my blog post if you want to see some pictures. http://shaunasadventures.blogspot.com/2018/01/?m=1

First time here. Loved it. Gotta be prepared in all ways possible though, specially on this kind of weather (cloudy partially flakey).

We brought our own waders to go in the river, and we had no issues with the cold water. However, our feet were a bit sore when we were done. Would have been nice to have the water hiking shoes like the ones they rent out. Beautiful views, and when we started as the sun was rising there was no one else on the trail yet.

Pretty good views and definitely a must do if you come to Zion...however, do not attempt after doing angels landing

Rent the gear!!!! It is well worth the money if you want to get past 2 steps in the river. The views are spectacular and so different than other hikes. Be prepared for extremely slippery rocks underneath you that you can’t see. Start early!!!! Beat the crowds. We went in march and took the first 7:00am shuttle.

Absolutely beautiful! This was the first hike I've done at Zion and I would definitely do it again. The switchbacks were tiring, but the views were worth it. Hiking this trail felt like going through various landscapes.

Went in early March. Saw maybe 20 people tops making this an incredible and peaceful hike. The water got waist deep at times. We rented our gear from Zion Adventures - full body, camera bags, and stick. Glad we did. The stick definitely helped balance us out. Overall moderate hike. Unlike any hike I’d ever done before.

fun hike !!!

So beautiful and very hard on my thighs and coordination! I fell in at one point (I’m not very experienced) but it was all worth it for the once in a lifetime views and experience.

Great hike. Not that many people for it being Spring Break so a lot of the trail was just myself and the kids. Feels like being on another planet.

make sure to go on a sunny day for the best views. the valley looked gray and dull brown instead of its normal brilliant orange due to a combination of cloud cover and wet rock.

there is no snow on the trail currently.

took me 5 hours hiking slowly with breaks. surface is all paved, slickrock, or packed dirt. the hike is relatively easy for its length and elevation change.

Great short hike with a nice view at the end. Very busy, however.
