If you are impaired and can't do the stairs go to the picnic shelter for a view of all 3 falls. Good place to take a break. Port a John on site.

A heavily-trafficked roadside stop with an easy walk down stairs to a beautiful waterfall. Great for family photos and cooling off after the hike up Looking Glass Rock (a few miles away).

Loved it you can swim and walk they the water

nice. very busy on Sunday afternoon.

Great hike, but go early on the weekends... add a mile by going all the way down to Hooker falls and go swimming. Steep hike back up but only for a quarter of a mile...

The falls are beautiful and well worth the hike.
Follow the AllTrails route closely, many opportunities to take a wrong turn. Got lost which added an extra mile.

Went on a weekday and didn’t see a single person on the trail.

Recommend doing the trail in reverse so the falls are near the end of the hike.

This is definitely a "moderate" hike but so worth it. Beautiful area. We went on a rainy day and had the trail to ourselves. The water was flowing from the beautiful waterfalls. This is on the Waterfall 100 Challenge and very deserving on it.Lots of great foot bridges to pass over and lots of great creek crossings.

The waterfall is gorgeous. It’s right beside the road. There are stairs to climb down to it. We got in the water. Always crowded so go early or during the week.

Great to hop around the falls and explore in a very leisurely hiking atmosphere

Well worth the effort. Only a few other people on the trail and had the falls all to myself.

Beautiful waterfall, really crowded - get there early and hike the Moore Cove Falls Trail right after.

Parking can be challenging. No real hike and very crowded, but a nice waterfall since WNC has had about 4 inches of rain the week before.

Great trail, well maintained and ability to see 4 falls if you know where to look!

The parking lot is unimproved dirt and is medium sized so it fills quickly. (I was almost the first car in the lot when I got there and after hiking Hooker-Triple-High Falls the lot was packed and cars lined both sides of the road.) Hooker Falls Trail leads to a popular swimming area at the base of the falls and is only minutes from the parking lot. After an easy walk to view this small falls, double back, cross the bridge, and head uphill to the beautiful Triple Falls and further up to High Falls. At Triple Falls there is a long set of wooden steps that lead you to a flat rock landing between the 2nd and 3rd falls and is an excellent spot to view and photograph all three of the Triple Falls. (Don't miss this.) The viewing area has a single wire cable preventing visitors from straying too near the falls but kids could walk right under it. High Falls is a beautiful, long double cascade with a covered bridge at the top and can be easily seen from the viewing area along the trail.

Favorite trail in pisgah! We hike this one every visit. Lots of little creek crossings and just a cool environment. Lightly traveled, we usually only come across just a few people. Dog loves it. We typically start from the Buckhorn Gap trailhead.

Not really a trail but a nice waterfall.

The hike is super steep so wear the right shoes. Gorgeous falls and completely worth the hike.

Quick walk if you just want to see the falls.

Great views throughout the hike. Pretty easy for the most part. There are some awesome photo opportunities with the falls in the background as well!

Swimming hole! Bring a towel and plan on getting your paws wet.

Easy path down an asphalt trail that is super short. Its steep but it's all accessed via stairs with good handrails. Take your time if you need to. There's no rush.

No excuse not to enjoy this magnificent fall other than you couldn't get a parking space. It gets really crowded.

One of many beautiful stops on 276 from Brevard to the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Five woofs!

This use to be one of my favorite waterfalls but they had it roped off at the bottom of the stairs so you couldn’t walk out and chill on the rocks anymore.

A lot of fun

This is a fun and easy hike. We saw a number of multi-generational families enjoying the trail today. Definitely suggest adding the Hooker Falls hike to this loop. Hooker Falls has the best place to get in and enjoy a short but cold swim. Wear closed-toed shoes fir the hike though. The gravel is killer.

really excited about the hike but could not figure out the loop for anything. I'll try again with a map. trail not blazed well.

This trail was great! A little longer than expected. Also Holly Trail was closed last week so we weren’t able to get back to our car that way. We had to walk by the highway to get to the parking lot. But other than that, it was a great workout. Now that we’re more familiar with the way, we will definitely be going back!

3 star because of all the traffic and ease. Get there before all the tourist do! Amazing waterfall right off the main road through this portion of Pisgah.
