Gorgeous snowy hike/walk on March 20. It took me longer than expected but it was so peaceful and I only saw one other person the whole time. So it was well worth the drive. Very majestic. Highly recommend it.

What a great little hike! Got to the trailhead about 8am on a Sunday and saw no one on the trail, must have been lucky!

This is my year round, go to exercise Loop. It is pretty enough with wildflowers and not difficult.

There is a fee to park for non Boulder residents. This is due to the surrounding towns not implementing open space and collecting taxes and those residents using the Boulder Valley areas. if you don't like to pay to park either pay taxes or go to another town. There is plenty.

Fills up on weekends.

Beautiful views. A nice easy, fairly flat trail. Dog friendly and not overly crowded. Parking fills up quick and there is $5 fee if you aren't a Boulder county resident.

This Red Rocks to Anemone trail is closed off at the Centennial Trailhead, accessed from Mapleton Ave as it's turning into Sunshine Canyon. Postings said it was supposed to open in February. (I'm told you can get on the RR trail from Settler's Park.) Probably 12 parking spots in this lot. Instead we took the Sunshine Canyon trail (easy, narrow trail) and then crossed the canyon to get on Lion's Lair.

Pretty and easy trail with a beautiful waterfall and view.

Beautiful views, lots of fun. Brought our dog and he loved it.

Stay on the trails for an easy walk with awesome views, or climb around on the rocks for something different. The whole family went on this hike and everyone enjoyed it.

Lovely open areas

Love it. Multiple trails to chose from to vary intensity

Mar 2 2018. Fun trail. Crowded but not too bad. It was icey and wet but manageable

Ceran St Vrain was a pretty easy hike. I decided to continue and follow the trail 252 up the hill to Millers Rock to see what that had to offer....it offered some pretty amazing views. That part of the hike was tough. The trail was icy in spots and snowy in others, with a touch of clear trail. I wore my spikes the whole way through just to be on the safe side. I'm glad i did.

I didn’t do it there’s a fee to park because boulder is pretentious.

Arrived shortly after 11AM on a Sunday, the parking lot was pretty busy as can be expected in the Denver/Boulder metro area. The trail itself is fairly simple with only some slight elevation changes. The views are wonderful. I definitely got sunburnt, there is very limited shade. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for an easy hike.

Hiked from Chatauqa via Mesa Trail and then the Shannahan Loop - beautiful hike yesterday!

Great and dogs can explore off leash!

Did this fun short trail yesterday. It was a breeze and the dogs loved it.
Caution: parking lot, stairs, and beginning of trailhead are very icy right now but the rest is fine.

Easy beginner hike

Nice views easy hike

Super fun! Can be really rocky in some places and to get to the water fall you gotta do some climbing. Totally worth it. Perfect for summer or winter, definitely one of my favorites. Not to much snow on the trail right now, no microspikes needed.

Nice trails for a half day or full day. Full of hikers everywhere, not very scenic but beautiful, nice to do with friends and family.

Easy and beautiful views of flatirons. We got to the trailhead by 10am today(Sunday 50 degree), parking lot is full and lucky we got a spot after a car leave. The other side of the parking lot is for horse trailer parking, by 12 noon after we finished hiking, cars also parking there.
$5 fee for non Boulder residents. Some parts of the trails are narrow and shared with other hikers, trail runners and bikers.
We saw a coyote today!
The trails are dry and windy today.

Great hike to get ready for the spring season. Has some elevation, but not too bad. Very little snow/ice right now.

4 stars for trail running or easy hike with mountain views. Also not too crowded and nice for dogs.
3 stars compared to the many gorgeous trails in the Boulder area and because this trail has many bikers, lots of cow/horse dung, and is quite windy.

This trail was completely enchanting. There was light snow and ice so tread carefully. These trees are really something special to see. Great areas alongside trail for a campfire. Will definitely return.

Very fun (very busy) little hike - we linked it to the Ski Jump trail which was fun and avoided some of the crowds.

Great view of the Flatirons.
