climbing in the beginning, then in the woods but not much exciting to see.

We were here on the Tuesday after Memorial day and it was pretty busy. The path was paved, and is very scenic all along the trail. However, it is quite steep in the first ~0.3 miles, so I would say it's moderate instead of easy. Ranger recommends the meadow trail for easier path up.
Wild flowers in bloom right now are the bluebells and the dandelions.

Quite the incline for about half way, but worth the view once you hit the overlook point! Going back down is a breeze!

This was a great hike. Fair amount of people, yet not crowded. Still peaceful and fun. Dog-friendly, with friendliest trial I’ve ever been on. Steep hike up, rocky and often narrow, little protection from the cliff, but worth it. Take it easy, rest. It’s a great afternoon. View of Crag’s Hotel and Continental Divide is spectacular. Oh, and stop in the river once you’ve come down.

8 dollar parking.

Definitely some nice elevation gain with this one! I started at Gregory Canyon and ended on Flagstaff. First mile or so was all uphill and included some rock scrambling. Saw lots of wildlife including a deer. Rangview was also a lovely little hike. Ending with the Flagstaff trail, this is the part everyone speaks of that runs along the road and requires several road crossings. I didn't necessarily find the traffic bothersome but finding the trail after crossing the road could be somewhat difficult, however the alltrails map is super helpful. Would definitely do this hike again! I enjoyed the scenic views of Boulder and the challenge this hike provided.

May hike. Very slight incline but totally doable for my MIL visiting from sea-level. Great views from farther of the flatirons and of the city of Boulder.

Great hike. Offers a challenge but not too steep - it was fairly easy taking it slow. The trail has plenty of coverage and great views! Fairly busy but we were able to avoid most traffic by getting there in the morning. The loop is less busy than the main out & back trail. $8 to enter El Dorado park.

An amazing view of what Boulder Colorado has to offer. A must see hike!

the rocks are SO cool!! fun hike, not super hard

Nice hike, great views at the top!!

Well maintained trails that are surprisingly pretty busy. Definitely take some water with you and wear the right shoes, rocks can get a bit rough at some parts. Plenty of hills and the views are gorgeous but if you’re not used to the elevation, I’d recommend taking it slow at first. Only down side is it’s a state park so you have to pay to enter.

Nice, short trail for a quick nature getaway. It is quite steep if you enter from Settler’s Park, much more than expected. There are beautiful views of Boulder at the top. Bring lots of water and sunscreen as there’s not much shade.

Busy trail, lots of dogs, but great views

beautiful setting, steep uphill climb. had a 7 and 10 year old on the hike, we had to stop many times as it's a long uphill climb. overall we really enjoyed the hike and views.

loved this trail. lake and mountain views all around.

Well maintained trail, nice views.

Potty your dog before coming or be prepared to carry poop! There aren’t any trash cans along the way. The hike was challenging at the end but doable with rest and worth it with the view. Hang in there and reap the rewards!

Nice trail to hike with oldest son and grandson!

Great hike, perfect length, great views and a variety. Storm rolled in at the top and while I was at the divide overlook, made the mistake of heading back instead of waiting it out - cleared back up in like ten minutes. Followed it up with the first little bit of Fowler. Decent amount of people (~11am on a Sunday) but I wouldn’t say it deterred too much

Easy hike with the dog (I have a pug and he did fine). A little more scrambling up rocks than expected but not hard at all. Perfect for something quick with the dog! This park fills up fast so go early if you want a spot. I arrived at 10am on a Sunday, the lot was already half full. I might consider going earlier next time. Not a lot of shade, so bring sunscreen and water!

Nice mix of history, railroad and views

FYI, McClintock trail starts just to the left of enchanted mesa; this trail doesn't allow dogs, enchanted mesa does. It then crosses enchanted mesa and keeps going up (still with no dogs); when you hit the end, you can take the loop coming back down on enchanted mesa. So I'd say this loop is about half dogs, half no dogs. Loved it and found the up part on McClintock to be quite challenging - a perfect morning hike with quite a lot of shade!

Great hike! A bit strenuous at the beginning but well worth it. Make sure to take the Walker Ranch Loop down to the falls. Awesome views!

Fun trail. Just started hiking and wasn’t too terrible. View at top is great!

Not very good for bikes was very rocky with sharp pointy Rock sticking out. It was only my fifth trail on a mountain bike so I'm just a beginner.

Fairly busy trail but great views and not too difficult. Mostly shaded.

great trail! it took us about and hour and 40 minutes from start to finish. pretty heavily trafficked especially for a Wednesday
