Nice easy short trail with a waterfall.

Really enjoy this short trail, the portion that actually runs underneath the Linn Cove Viaduct is awesome! Highly recommend this trail.

Beautiful waterfalls and relaxing. Moderate going down and straight back up. Wear hiking boots. Highly recommend it.

Very pretty waterfalls. Highly recommend it. I would say this trail is moderate and strenuous going back up.

Hung up my hammock there today, perfect spot to relax and let my dog roam a little on her long lead. Peaceful, quiet, hidden gem. One nice feature was climbing up to the waterfall, and a nice easy descent back to the car.

Awesome trail, there are some slick rocks so be careful

Fantastic hike with great falls. Trail is hard to find (not well marked). Entrance is off the picnic area.

Nice hike with beautiful falls. Rocks are slippery though so a bit difficult with dog and kids who wanted to climb.

Easy hike with a beautiful waterfall at the end!

Beautiful falls. Worth the incline.

the falls were beautiful but this is mismarked as an "easy trail". the sign at th trailhead even says "strenous hike"....no hand rails and at times the trail is nothing but mud, a few wide spaces rocks across a stream or a pile of broken rocks 8 inches wide. very steep and slippery in parts. Moderate.

Great waterfall at the end of an easy hike. Good trail with steady climb.

Great views & trails! Only setback was we didn’t realize Black Rock was inside the grandfather mountain park & had to pay $20 each to hike. Other than that, we had a great time!

Great convenient short trail with nice falls! Very convenient to Seven Devils but need a 4-wheel drive if there has been winter weather. Take your picnic down to the picnic table on the trail. I don’t agree that this is an easy hike; too much elevation change for that. It’s moderate. The trail has a loop but the trail crosses itself in a several places without clear markings, hence the 4 star rating. Great project for TrailLifeUSA badge to blaze this trail.

excellent adventure. beautiful water falls. we hiked down from the Hebron Falls sign to the bottom of the falls and climbed the boulders back up to the top. some of the rock climbing can be slippery and there are several dangerous spots if caution isn't used. but totally manageable and remarkably beautiful.

As of 03/25 the portion leading to the viaduct is currently under construction, so no way of getting up to see the views. Otherwise, really nice easy hike. Had fresh fallen snow when I went.

Awesome trail with the pups. Great falls but slightly slippery while exploring. Steep climb in some areas but worth it!

I drove three hours to explore this state park and this was hands down my favorite trail. I got there around 11am and I was literally the only person at the top. The view was stunning and a great place to eat my lunch and relax. Coming down I did run into about 30 people making their way up so the earlier you can get there the better.

Great trail for the family. Falls are pretty especially after the rain yesterday. Take time to follow the trails around the falls not just to the observation deck and back...will miss the tranquil beauty a bit away from the deck. Kids, 8 and 5, loved it and were able to navigate just fine.

Very nice moderate hike. The falls are beautiful. Wear correct footwear, areas are slippery and trail can be very muddy after rain. Great outing to pack a lunch and carry it on your back.

A nice trail that is wide in most spots; worth the decent to get up close to the falls.

on Cedar Rock Trail

You get nice views of Stone Mountain on this trail. Not a hard trail. Be sure to follow red blazes across Cedar Rock to find the other part of the trail. The one part of this trail that confused me was the end. I had a map that I was also going by. Once I reached the homestead there were no more red blazes. I continued down the gravel road until I ran into the Stone Mountain Loop Trail that led back to the lower parking lot. If this is the indeed correct way of doing this trail it would be nice to continue with the red blazes down to where you pick up the Stone Mountain Loop trail, which is blazed in orange. I could of done it wrong, I don't know. lol Just going by the map.

on Wolf Rock Trail

Nice trail. Not very long or hard. I believe there was one good steep hill to climb. Once I got to Wolf Rock the views were beautiful. You can walk out on the rock and hang out for a while. Made a loop out of the trail by hiking down Cedar Rock.

Loved doing this hike to the waterfall with my family. But, the app say "easy" and I will have to say it's not that easy. Especially on the way back when you are going uphill in the mud. At least It was pretty short though. We have three boys 12 and under and it was awesome. Want to go back in the summer.

Tame walk to a pretty fall.

Nice views of Stone Mountain.

Perhaps we missed it. But we could not find the lower falls. Just ended up on a horse trail.

Fun rock climbing experience for sure. Wouldn’t recommend taking dogs, they may slip and fall easily. Make sure you wear shoes with good grip. Would be really fun to do when it’s warm outside.
