Great hike through varied terrain.

It's a nice trail for an easy Sunday hike. It's a very green trail, nothing like the usual Canyon trails around Las Vegas. If you miss the green landscape every now and then this is the place to go. We have seen more spectacular views, but we're a little spoiled and have been doing many trails already

has anyone backpacked in ??

So beautiful to walk the path at night and went to the Epinephrine trail! GORGEOUS

we only went to the loop split, but as far as we went it was very nice. easy to follow trail, not too many switchbacks and lots of gorgeous views of mt Charleston.

This was a beautiful hike after the recent rains. We intended to do the late night loop but turned onto vigra due to poor signage. This app was very helpful in figuring out where we were! We did only the Mustang loop at 3.8 miles. Mostly mountain bikers out, this is an easy trail with glorious views. Also a great hike- note you will have to walk single file as these trails are optimized for mountain bikes. Definitely recommend for novice hikers!

Easy enough, but beautiful landscape!

Great run. Very fast trail. Was a perfect temperature in December. Definitely a winter running spot for me. Looking forward to going back and exploring more possibilities from this trailhead.

great hike beautiful.

I did the Mustang Loop portion. According to my GPS it was a little over 3.8 miles.

It's a dusty trail and the path is easily lost but it takes you from a dessert setting to a green stream setting which is amazing

Nice hike

Fine, if you like pure desert hikes. Spends a little too much time along the highway , and is mainly a mountain biking trail.

Excellent trail that intersects with a few other trails in the area. the trails are not very intersections aren't marked, so keep your map out to make sure you stay on the right trail. There's a lot of green behind Mount Wilson and it's all beautiful. This trail is also outside of the Scenic Loop, there's a parking lot right at the start of trail so there's no fee. I love the beautiful scenery and easy pace of this hike. So many trees and nobody else was there.

Nice trail for horses. Wonderful views of trout canyon from above. We were the only ones on the trail but hikers with dogs unleashed were just coming off as we approached the trail head. Always use cation and be aware of others when rounding corners.

My only problem was it's definitely not stroller capable!!! It looks like a decent trail. I can't wait to try it with a pack for my baby instead of trying the stroller. A fellow patron had just came down and said the stroller won't fit he doesn't think but to try it. So we did and it didn't work HAHA. So just a heads up.

Beautiful views offered a great escape from the city!

My husband and I are hiking newbies, so at 5.5 miles this was a bit challenging. It's an excellent work out; it took us exactly 3 hours to complete. There are quite a few fallen trees that you either have to go under or climb around, but nothing crazy.

We did this half-day 7 mile trail with Escape Adventures. Our tour guide, Brandon, was super knowledgeable and fun! My boyfriend and I did this last week. We’re from Oregon, in our young 30s, and are relatively outdoorsy, healthy, and athletic. I went into this as a newbie mountain biker (although with cycling class experience) and the bf went into this with mountain biking experience, but only as a kid (20+ years ago). He did okay, but I did not. Spinning/cycling class skills do not transfer over to mountain biking well. I had difficulty learning how to balance my weight, position my body, and apply the brakes. The terrain had loose gravel, large rocks, and prickly plants along the narrow trail. On one of the first dips, my brain froze and I applied the L brake (front wheel) because I’m L-handed, rather than the R (rear). I went head first into the prickly plants & rocks. My left thigh was pinned under the handlebars until I unfroze. This is not a trail to practice and experiment on for the 1st time. During the switchbacks, I was intimidated and got off my bike and walked which was allowed and even encouraged. The tour guide and our fellow rider rode ahead and then the 4 of us would reconvene for briefing before the next portion. This was great because they were able to do their thing while the bf and I took it slow. Overall, the bf had minimal problems with the trail, unlike me. Although both of us were panting heavily during the climbs due to the change in elevation, dry air, and hot sun. The trail and landscape was beautiful. We got some great photos and captured many of my falls on my GoPro which has been comical to watch. I’m still bruised and limping one week later, but battle wounds are the best.

Excellent trail system for hikers and horseback riders alike. We often see cat tracks overlaying our horses hoof prints so make sure and keep your dog on a leash if you take one. Good chance to see elk and deer.

Hiked the Lovell Canyon trail today - great weather, fairly well marked trail. Heard elk bugling on the trailhead side of the mountain both going out and coming back....
