The Alum Creek trail is by far one of may favorites for cycling in central Ohio. The trail actually extends South all the way through Three Creeks Metro Park. The section of the trail through the metro park is probably the best as is passes through sections of woods, grasslands, and tall pine trees. I've seen hawks, eagles, and osprey while cycling through Three Creeks.

A local favorite for a quick trip out. Always beautiful.

Iron horse is a very nice well maintained trail. Lots of shade and still pleasant on a 90 degree day. We biked and had the trail all to ourselves.
We also biked the other trail to State street. Which traveles through a neighborhood and some Mount Union playing fields. That trail is only a couple of miles.

beautiful trail along side of the lake , nothing to hard. First time there but won't be my last.

Great trail, plenty to see.

George and really enjoyed the trail, loved the canopy of trees keeping it shady. Just wish google hadn't taken me to the parking lot at the start of the trail instead of the shady looking isolated park (but that's Googles fault).

easy mountain bike trail!!!

Excellent trail for running. Not for the average mountain biker, couple of tricky spots to navigate even on foot.

Not too busy, mostly quiet. Great for a stress free walk.

I'm a bit of a newbie at trail riding (mtb) but it proved interesting and a few roots and rocks made for a challenge at unexpected times.

Good trail if you like "paved" trails. Less chance for ticks than grassy type trails. Good views of farm land. Would be good for strollers or wheel chairs. Would be really nice in the fall.

I road this trail around 2004, it is very nice ,a great trail mostly,
wide open country riding. one of my favorite.

Nice canopy rail trail. Low grade for similar experience in both directions. Plenty of points to park and get on the trail. Nice picnic spot and rest rooms at Kenyon University crossing.

Very nice hike. Super scenic and well cared for. I’m sure the mountain bikers have a blast given the fun ramps that are placed throughout the trail. We only had four bikers pass us during the hike- so it was pretty quiet. Only negative is having to walk along the highway a bit. That was a little nerve wracking because cars are zooming past. The other thing to watch for is the narrow muddy paths. I wouldn’t recommend hiking the path if it’s rained recently. You’ll want it to dry out a bit. Another thing to note: this trail is 6 miles. Not the 5 it claims to be. But I definitely recommend it!

It was ok. Nothing to write home about. There are several trails which are not well marked.

Nice short ride this morning. Path is very well maintained crushed limestone and nicely shaded from Beech to Cenfield. Saw only a handful of walkers and bikers on this beautiful Saturday morning. Trail is extended to State St, passing through a quiet neighborhood on the way.

Very nice trail!! Neat surprise as you get further in and beautiful scenery along water.

Nice little trail. Discovered it off of the towpath. Mostly paved, nice and dry and lots of shade to take a break.

The County Line Trail is an easy path for bikers, runners, and walkers. Most of the trail is paved, only a short section in Sterling overlaps with the road. There are parking lots at the trailheads in Creston and Rittman, as well as two lots in Sterling, which is about the middle of the trail. I usually start in Sterling and alternate between going towards Creston or Rittman.

I walk here almost every day I can. it's quite beautiful.

Great trail! Clean paths

nice afternoon ride with the grandkids. Wild flowers are amazing.

clean and well maintained. wNice easy afternoon ride.

Loved the trails!

if you like solitude, these are great trails to hike in the off-season.... during the summer season, you will have plenty of company from the campers.

the trail now begins at a trailhead and carpark by the west marina with a paved trail and a footbridge over one of the many bays of the lake. this section ends at the new park welcome center on shop road where you can continue along shop road to pick up the trail again at the amphitheater.

Rail to trails. Flat, blacktop, scenic and historical stops.

Good trail, seems well maintained and mostly paved. Some scenic sections. A lot of road crossings. Multiple sections with large debris on the sides (usually a bordering house's backyard dumping ground it seems). Pretty flat, some moderate elevations but nothing excessive.

Nothing in the way of a destination trail, but a great spot to ride a bike if you're in the area. I'd suggest starting in Dalton at mile marker 10, and turning around at mile marker 1. The last mile into Massillon is lined with trash and dilapidated city areas. Nothing worth exploring if you don't plan on connecting to the Towpath Trail.

No water, restrooms only at a few trailheads. Many small street intersection trailheads with a few parking spots.
