I love these trails. They are so well maintained, and extremely well marked. Do all the loops and you can easily over 10 miles. Take one of the atv trails that intersect the trails and you can go for 100s of miles. Rolling hills and a great mix between wide open cross country ski trails, and single track technical snow shoe trails. My dog and I love these trails. I run here 4-7 times a week and I'm never disappointed.

Great for beginners, kids and pets.

Easy footing. Simple stroll through the woods. Not a lot of signage at intersections of trails.

Quite a bit of tree damage from the recent storm. A few large trees fell across the Green trail and one on the Orange trail.

Great short hiking trail. Great for families and pets.

Easy, pleasant, wooded, better views than one deserves for so little effort. Perfect for days when you just have to get out and hike, but you’ve got plans later. We followed the outskirts, Border Trail. Probably the best view for the easiest climb that I can think of, except maybe for Monument Hill in Leeds, Maine.

peaceful and good for a quick Trail hike and especially good for smaller animals and children

love the view from the top and very dog friendly.

Nice and easy stroll through the woods. I love to bring my daughter here because of the playground and also the designated "story trail" for the kids. It is a nice, well kept area.

Also mixed feelings about these trails/area in general for hiking. There are a lot of opportunities to explore, but the area was a little confusing at first. I started on a trail that went downhill behind a kiosk, it led to some railroad tracks and I pretty much made it up from there! Some trails venture off from that area, but I didn't get a chance to check them out. The railroad track trail led to the YMCA Otter Pond Campgrounds. It was a nice adventure, good place for fishing and exploring with kids and dogs. Don't forget to fill out a land use permit!

Great local hike with the kids.

Great easy hike. Well groomed and marked.

Great trail, light to moderate

Great hike! Three in party... four year old, adult, and senior. Took Northern Loop with Ski Area short cut both up and down. Very nice hike; all trails "as advertised" in trail map. Had to remind my son to mind his footing on the roots... only ate the dirt once... and it was his own fault. Highly recommended for all ages!

I love the Viles Aborteum. I come here to walk all the time with my dog and even have a garden planted. I recommend this place to anyone (any age!) looking for easy walking trails surrounded by nature, art sculptures and good people. The trails are clearly marked and there are signs everywhere, but I also think they offer maps at the visitor's center at the parking lot. if you are a plant enthusiast like me, you will enjoy it here.

Quiet clean trails with some great views. Most trails are easy enough for most people, there area few more challenging trails as well. overall beautiful place.

I love bringing my dog to this trail for walks. Unfortunately, not all dog owners keep their dogs on a leash. We only had a close call once, most other dogs are good when off their leash. They have been doing a lot of work lately in creating new trails, their is plenty of tree coverage in the summer and nice wide trails.

Very short hike.
Several signs were missing, labeling trails heading back down the mountain.
It was very foggy, so the views from the top were not great.

Although this area does get pretty crowded and the hike itself is short, I like that there are a few different trail options to make the trek a bit more exciting. This place is great for kids with plenty to do, as there is a playground at the base and quite a few picnic tables. And regardless of how easy the hike up the mountain is, the view at the top is still one of the best.

Good woods trail- no real view. Nice length and pretty secluded- we only saw a few other people. I'd recommend hiking boots or high top sneakers. It might just be me being careless, but I rolled my ankles a couple of times on the exposed roots and rocks, and wish I'd done it in my boots instead.

I have mixed feelings about these trails. They are wide, well maintained, and available for a variety of activities. They aren't particularly picturesque though as there has been a lot of equipment in clearing areas out. It is possible to hear traffic as well from the busy roads surrounding it. If you like to listen to music, this won't be a problem. Also, the wetlands boardwalk is currently being repaired so you will be unable to use it.

A very nice family hike.Go in blueberry season, there's tons and tons of blueberrys! Not much of a view unless you climb the observatory tower, then your rewarded with beautiful views! Tower not safe for little kids in my opinion.

Good workout up Blueberry Trail. We had a great day. We could see Mt Washington from the tower

nice, easy, family friendly trail that loops around a beaver bog. Beaver, ducks, Canadian geese, turtles, can be seen seasonally. Note: There is a sign that states no dogs, at trail head.

Great views, very easy hike, trails could be more clearly marked.

Paths were well marked and clear. I thought that the "EASY" rating was misleading. We took the Blueberry Trail and found the 400ft raise in elevation a bit of a challenge. It runs 1.4 miles long before it intersects with the Tower Trail making for a 2.3 mile loop. Will do it again but better prepared for the distance and elevation.

It's a pretty basic trail with little "scenic" value. The trailhead was easy to find and trail was well maintained. It provided a nice workout, but there were a lot of branch off trails that would make it easy to get turned around or sent off trail. Even with exceptional bug spray the bugs were relentless!
