Nice easy trail - need good crosswalk to connect to Ralph Muro trail

It’s a very nice paved trail. Yes you get road noise from the highway but it didn’t phase us. It can be a loop if you don’t do the full trail and just turn left when you get to the road which was just enough of a walk for my 2 year old. We love that the kids from the elementary school get to plant bulbs and plants on the trail every year too. We’ll definitely be back.

Took NF-1500 up and the views were glorious. Only other vehicle we saw was a ranger near the top, and a couple of hunting camps just off of 12. It started to snow as we were leaving.

Beautiful scenic walk! This time of year, things are a little damp, but that made for a nice cascading waterfall!! As long as you watch your step on the trails, you'll be A-okay

loved it however didn't make it all the way to the falls my son decided he wanted to turn back just short of getting there. yes there are gunshots at the beginning but that's because. there is a range not far away. I like the sound of gunshots so thought it was pretty cool. passed lots of horses other dogs and just people in general. we had a blast our two dogs loved it. lots of fun. as for dogs eating horse poop yea it happens dogs love horse shit, tell them to leave it and move oh. I will be visiting this trail many more times!!!

nice views

Lost Lake to Manastash Lake: The road up is well maintained but washboard the majority of the time. The fork in the road in which you want to veer left to get to the trailhead is well marked. You can continue right a quarter of a mile if you need to pick up a day pass. Bathrooms available at trailhead. You share this trail with dirt bikes, but you can hear them well before they reach you so you have time to give them room. Maybe 4 other cars at the trailhead on a Saturday afternoon. The grade is mild with lots of flat parts. It had been raining a little in the morning so the trail was not dusty, but later when the sun came out the trail was very dusty. Some parts of the trail are slippery with loose rocks and dirt so watch your step. A few hints of fall colors but mostly greenery. A few fair views of the valley below. When you come to the fork in which right is trail 1350.2 and left is 1350, 1350 is the way you want for the Lakes. The lakes are nice with places to sit on the shore. Saw a few backpackers and places where people had made a campsite. No overly great views or scenery. All around an average hike that is a pretty quick in and out if you want a short hike to a decent lake. 8 miles round trip, just under 2 to lost lake and an additional 2 to manastash.

Easy hike. Not spectacular, great for a small day hike. Camping available.

Very beautiful trail. Amazing views. Continued on 325 and then cut down to HWY 12 via NF-1400. Beyond the ridge the road becomes a bit more rugged and winding between narrow trees. Nothing too extreme just take your time slowly. It’s a fun drive.

Easy trail....brought back memories of my recent trip of walking the Camino de Santiago.
We walked from Cle Elum to Roslyn.

Trails were ok, but flat. The lake is nice.

Get past the first portion and the poop and gunshots quantity swiftly declines. The falls were nothing special but were a decent marker for getting there. I went a bit past the falls to see what else was going on there and it wasn't too bad. I think I'd like to try the giant 14 or so mile loop at some point. Turned around so it wouldn't be dark before I got back.

A couple things. This should be called the Mima Falls East trail in this app. There are East and West trails according to the DNR maps and signage. The East trail is this trail that takes you to the falls. If you go beyond the falls, you are then on the West trail.

As you are headed in, be sure to follow the Mima Falls East signage. At one point you will come to some signs that give you an option of Mima Falls East or Mima Falls Tie. If this is your first time, just stick to Mima Falls East.

Great trail, Some large rocks could be hard for small hikers.

Great trail for Mt. Biking. Depending on which way you go around the loop you could end up biking uphill most of the way. My 8 year old boy did the whole loop and loved it.

i went 2 mo ago lots of trials were flooded

This hike was pretty easy. Passed runners, bikers and two horses on narrow trails. My dog kept eating horse poop, so that was no fun. The falls were basically a trickle of water that we passed because it wasn’t marked. No rewarding views.

Awesome place for the kids. Be sure to bring snacks in your bag for them and take your time. Great place for family time.

Trails are not marked very well, the were well maintained a bit muddy in some parts but had a wonderful time. Will definitely recommend to other people.

Nice run... nice and peaceful trail. Some of the parts were narrow and I had to wait for bicyclist to go through, but that is really not anything to complain about. My biggest complaint was that I heard many small caliber gunshots at the very beginning of the trail. I no longer heard any closer to the falls, just at the beginning of the trail. Based off of the name, I was expecting a nice run to a beautiful waterfall… But that’s not the case. The “falls“ were so small that it is possible to even miss it. I heard some running water hiked down a baby trail and saw it. If you are looking for a nice waterfall, the nicest in the area is Tumwater Falls. If you are looking for a nice hike or trail run, this is the place.

Good hike. Decent amount of elevation climb and rocky “ankle breaker” parts of the trail. Not too bad, but also wasn’t expecting it. The lake was beautiful and if you keep walking around the perimeter of it there’s a neat dock/lookout point. The gravel road to the trail wasn’t the great and pretty washboarded. Overall it was a great day and fun hike!

I hiked up toward the Margaret McKenny Campground and loop back around to the Mima Falls. Not much of a visual hike. The day before, there were horse events, so the trial was riddled with horse poo. It was hot and nasty that morning and the water fall was terrible. The only good thing about the hike was at the top you had a clear look at Mt. Rainier.

Great trail! The only downfall is it having potholes. And, don't bring your 55 yr. old dad.

Nice hike to a small waterfall. Also good for mountain biking.

Fine hike, but the falls were tiny and not a worthwhile endpoint. The “day use area” by the falls is little more than a picnic bench.

Awesome views at the top of the ridge, we drove farther than the directions of where the GPS located bethel ridge and I’m glad we did. Trails are awesome for off roading with atv, bikes, and 4x4. I would say it’s an easy trail for off roading. We camped at the ridge and it was a beautiful and amazing view all throughout. Be warned, there’s A LOT of bugs and flies, bring a spray/ lotion, I wish we brought citronella with us. Camp fires are also not allowed although we’ve seen some pits made by people. All in all it was a great trip.

Great trail, the lenght was great. Just be aware of other people.

Campground was full, but everyone was at the lake so I had the trails to myself. This would be a great trail for running, mostly flat with a few mellow hills. Recommend doing this loop counterclockwise so you end at the concession stand or beer garden.

Very pretty and easy loop. Despite busy campground trail was beautiful and quiet.

longer than expected, not well marked, but beautiful and decent for hiking with a baby. maybe more resting places could make it better for kids, but otherwise good. the trail width made me feel safe, and there were not too many bees. falls were pretty, though a little anticlimactic. I went on this last year in late June. was thinking of going again, but have 2 kids now and should probably choose one with more benches.

Easy trail. In and out of shade. Out in open where clear cut had been its plenty warm. Trail is in good shape. A couple grades to go up and down. Three small bridges. Water fall is more of a trickle in July.
I am still glad we went. There are a few old growth Firs to pass by sticking out feet in the water was nice. We saw two deer, a big Woodpecker, some misc birds and about six other hikers. Lots of horse apples on trail. Go walk it!
