HikingFloodedGreat!

Nice long hike! Will get very wet at spots. Bring enough water and shady hat if you go with sun out. Very peaceful and in deep woods. Try to park close to the actual trail loop if you want to do less walking. Enjoy!

Decent. Well groomed. Trail by the pond was flooded but still passable.

Very easy and flat trail. Perfect for doggos. Gets a little muddy toward Stinky Pond.

Don’t follow the trail head markers on here in Google. It will lead you straight into puddles.

Awesome trail. It was dry and pretty well marked with pink blaze. Ran into some people but otherwise not very busy. Only wish that the fire tower at the end was open.

Very well marked. Some trees fell that blocked the trail. Water logged on parts of the trails. Did red, orange and yellow trails.

HikingFloodedGreat!Muddy

A great seven mile loop. BUT, be sure to wear knee length rubber boots. Definitely not for sneaker wearers. In many places the trail is flooded, sometimes as much as 6". The white blazes need repainting but it's hard to get lost as the trail is obvious - even if it means traversing giant puddles.

WalkingGreat!

Very nice trail. Well marked, good plant diversity, some wildlife and very easy. Did it on a mild day in late March with my fiancée and my infant son in a stroller with no issues. There were a few wet spots that we were able to get around without any problem. With all the ponds and swampy areas, I could see bugs being a little bit of a challenge on hot, humid summer days. Some areas are in full sun, so sunblock is probably a good idea, especially in summer. There are several “stub” trails off the main blue trail loop if you want to extend your walk / hike / run. Fairly crowded, even though it was off-season, but in fairness, spring fever was probably a factor since it was a very pleasant Saturday in early spring.
