Awesome place to take friends and family

Hike is really easy but the view of these hills is amazing. You have to see these with your own eyes at least once. Would rate 5 stars if the hike was an actual hike or more of a challenge.

My favorite part about this hike is the seclusion. To get here you take a scenic route, no one in sight. Had the entire park to myself. Surrounded by golden hills. And the palisades are really spectacular.

Good hike. Unfortunately when we were there the smoke was blocking the views of Mt. Hood. The lake is beautiful however and it was warm enough to jump in and swim. Really easy hike as well. Follow all our adventures on Instagram @themicrotourists.

Panther Creek Falls..just FYI..we pulled & parked at rock pit...we got out of our car..checked out the Picas..went towards the asphalt ..look down "⬅️FALLS" is spray painted on the asphalt...go left then again "➡️FALLS"to the trailhead.. not much of a hike but breathtaking all the same

Beautiful falls from the base and very nice hike, but the signage is terrible, as is the road to get to the parking lot. We took a turn that we thought would loop around to parking, as described, and ended up turning an easy 6 mile hike into a 12 mile excursion filled with frustration. Great trail! I took my dog with me and she loved it! The best part was the part leading up to the creek. Its so beautiful out there! I will definitely be returning.

Drive out on one lane road was tricky. But well worth it. Trail was easy. Nice waterfall.

this was such a fun trail dispite the fact that the opal pools were not quite as impressive as I was lead to believe. still very pretty. nice easy trail. the kids gave up about mile 4 though so unless you got some energetic kids with some hiking enthusiasm I wouldn't recommend it. jawbone flats is pretty cool I had no idea that was there. the path is mostly gravel road except for 1.3 miles that is good trail type trail. lots and lots of huckleberries this time of year.

Been up there twice in the last month. Did the short trail the first time, the long trail the second time.

Worth every step, and the rough forest service road to the trail head.

Blessed to make it out on a clear blue sky day. This path is right along the visitor center and features amazing views of Mount Saint Helens and the peak of Mount Adams.

Surely one of the most unique hills I have ever seen. Best view on sunset.

Much more of a walk than a hike— good for families and individuals of any skill level. Really beautiful place

Very nice loop trail, all though the Falls Creek Trail #152 is more of a Mt. Bike trail and the rest of the loop is more for hiking. Falls Creek Falls Water Fall is very refreshing and great for pictures and videos. Cool camp grounds and swimming area up at the top.

very short very beautiful great for kids

Very pretty, start of trail is paved, and steep, then levels out.

it was a very nice and beautiful hike. There are lots of potholes but not as bad as some roads we've seen in Washington. The signs were minimal but that's why we have the All trails app and map. The trail was mostly soft and shady. The lower view of the falls was an oh my God moment. the upper falls and views looking down were nice of the valley but you can't see much of the lower falls. A short hike further is the small falls by a camp site.

One lane road to parking at the head of the trail. Trail was nice and easy, perfect for beginners and kids.

Easy hike with beautiful scenery. We took the North Loop headed in to add more mileage but backed out using the regular path. The trail is managed well with some tree roots you have to be mindful of on the walking path. The inclines are easy with just enough intensity to get you breathing deeply. We went midweek in August in the middle of the afternoon and it was busy. The bridge is rad and I expected it to sway and bounce more than actually did. We drove to the trail head from Lincoln City on a 12 mile stretch of road that was narrow, winding, and had a few switchbacks. Drive carefully!

This is a nice easy hike with a beautiful Suspension bridge that overlooks the falls. We drove in by the Southern route. The drive treats you to old growth forest and giant ferns.

Beautiful opal waters

The Forest Service has block off access to the unauthorized trail to the bottom of the falls because people have fell from the edge. The only authorized trail to the viewing platform. Access to the creek above the falls is also fenced off.

Easy to find path that goes around the whole lake. Many options to go down to the water for a swim or to take in a breathtaking view.

Beautiful falls but due to poor signage and lack of signage it is very easy to get lost. The road up to the parking lot is absolutely terrible so I wouldn’t recommend going unless you have an off-road vehicle.

lost cell coverage driving up the mountain to the trail head.beautiful place.would go again.

Easy hike for family. Beautiful. Spent a couple hours exploring and ate lunch on the beach before walking out. Waterfall, tide pools, picnic tables, fire pits. Bathrooms at trailhead and beach. Beach is much longer than it looks in photos. Next time we're bringing a kite!

Awesome hike ! Wish somebody would have said it was 6 miles of driving on gravel road because we popped a tire on the way down ... oof ... but other than that it was a really cool hike ! The natural water slide at the end was so cool. Maybe if they could put up more signs pointing to where to go to that would be helpful because we got a little confused.

Lots of traffic on a Friday. Very easy walk. Nice suspension bridge. Ranger was ticketing cars without appropriate passes when we arrived. Make sure yours is visible.

The falls are beautiful and worth seeing. We decided to make this a stop on our way to another hike. The drive takes a little bit of time and we did get a little confused as to where to stop and park. It’s a very short hike to the viewing area and that was far enough for us especially with kids.

Beautiful scenery with waterfalls and tree lined cliffs. Trail from highway to beach is shaded and gorgeous and runs along a river.
