We went this trail when it was raining a lot but it was still very beautiful trail! There are few waterfalls along the way, you go through bamboo forest and there is so big and beuatiful tree on the way! The waterfall in the end is huge and amazing. Definitely worth it!

Super short and very sweet.

Fun trail! Get there early to beat the crowds and use AllTrails if you go on the primitive trail because you will definitely get lost!

Incredible hike took our family about 4.5 hours today – the full loop including a few of the offshoots. It was moderate to a little scary at times but well worth the effort. It is the quintessential Arches national Park hike!

Excellent hike with great features along the way and great end point. A bit of a climb in the beginning but not bad. Good for kids too

Trail a little rough to find for a short distance up a wash. Beautiful destination!

Did this trail in Feb 2016.
Heading back in Feb 2019. :)

Some steep inclines on the final stretch but worth it. We did it with kids 3, 6 and 8, and they enjoyed the trail

Thank you to many who posted about this hike. I had picked a different hike, woke at 2:00 am. Read your reviews. We woke in the morning and I told my wife ,”Change of plans!! This was by far the best hike we have done ... the bamboo, ponds waterfalls EVERYTHING!! ALL TRAILS best app I have. We live in Vancouver BC use it there all the time. Been to Australia, used it there. Been to Indonesia, Bali and yup!! Used it there In New Zealand, used it to hike Rangitoto Island. We took trails no one else knew about (on that day)
Thank you all keep posting. People read and make decision based on your feed back !!!

Beautiful hike. Challenging, but a lot of fun. The view up top is worth the fierce incline on the way up.

Very neat hike, beautiful views the whole time!

Probably the best hike (this and the loop in the north part with several arches). This is a clasic and a must-hike./walk

A nice little hike that includes all major arches. I suppose this is THE thing to do in arches NP. It wasn't always clear to me where the trail was, but nothing dramatic. There are a lot of people if you don't go too early, so it shouldn't be a problem.

This was a good, well trafficked hike. We completed this hike in early August and it was very hot. Make sure to bring plenty of water.

One of the most amazing experiences of my life! Walking around the lush Maui forest in the rain through a massive Banyan tree, waterfalls, a bamboo forest that sounded like music az it swayed in the wind and rain, all kinds of Eucalyptus, including Rainbow Gum, which is my favorite.

There are steep areas, wet and slippery areas, and lots of mud so come prepared. Many areas are not accessible.

Absolutely amazing views from the arch! Take plenty of water. It was cloudy and 55 degrees and I still went through two bottles. I went early in the morning and was at the arch by 9. There were tons of people heading up on my way back down, so I recommend going early. Well worth the hike. This one is a must do!

We went with our young kids in 65-70 degree weather. Perfect! The trail is awesome, with some parts like they were lifted from the set of an old western. Before going, we had our kids practice walking single file along an imaginary cliff edge. I'm glad we did for the last stretch by the drop off, because our usually rambunctious kids were well-behaved. The arch is amazing to see, but it's not the most kid-friendly point with drop offs all around. We stayed for about two minutes then turned back.

We went at sunset, and that might be overrated. I'm not sure it was different than any other time of day.

I’ve done this hike in 2014 and 2016. It goes through a cool bamboo forest and leads to a final waterfall. It is usually moderately crowded. The drive on the Road to Hana is half the fun, but I’d say don’t miss the cool side hikes. This is one I’d plan on doing bc it’s Haleakala National Park at the end of the road as a last stop before where most people turn back with their rental cars.

Beautiful and diverse scenery. Highly recommend for the adventurous traveler!

Really fun trail. We hiked it late October and it was a little difficult to navigate. We did have to climb over rocks in a tight space to get to the waterfall in lieu of getting in the cold water. This is a short but moderately challenging hike.

Moderate at most for avid hikers. Could be difficult at times for weekend hikers. Don’t let the difficult rating deter you. There are only a couple spots where you have to either climb or descend some slightly slippery rock faces. I did it counter clock wise in tennis shoes in about 2.5 hours. I wouldn’t say one direction is easier than the other. Beautiful and rewarding views!

Group of fairly fit 60-somethings made it up no problem. Great scenery on the way as well as the top. Lots of friendly weekend folks. Just one of multiple trails in Arches Nat’l Park.

Love this trail! Hiked to the falls with my grandson on my back. We both really enjoyed the trek. Diverse terrain, scenic views, and bamboo forests.

Nice, moderate hike with huge pay-off. This is one of the most popular hikes in the park, but the trail is generally so wide that it didn’t really feel crowded until we got up to the area around there arch. Even then, we were all able to get solo pictures with the arch without much waiting. Went in the fall right at golden hour, the lighting was beautiful and the arch is really special.

Definitely a challenging hike! We did it clockwise - the first half (up to the double O arch) was well-marked, well-traveled, and not too tough. The second half, the primitive trail, had some very, very challenging parts, mainly a tiny ledge with sketchy hand holds. A LOT of people turned back there. Just know it exists, and be ready for it. There are no major arches on the primitive trail, but the winding canyon is really beautiful; it was worth doing for us (ages 62, 53, 26, 24). Pack in a lot of water - I packed in 2 liters on a fairly cold day and I was shocked I went through all of it.

Hiked with my 9 months old on my back and 6 years old boy last weekend . Awesome...

Strenuous hike but the views worth it

Beautiful hike ask most are in Utah. We loved this national park and hike. Here is the video on my hike.
