A little easy to get lost when you get to the big field. fairly muddy. but great for dogs and an easy hike. beautiful

Don’t go after a heavy rain

Great system of trails for some after work mountain biking. Not super technical, some spots are a bit muddy.

Easy trail walk, very easy in and out, big parking lot. Needs better trail markers.

The route outlined here is kind of a weird route, having you walk on the side of the road for a spell, on the beach, on the bike path, and on the dune hiking trail. Bike path, dune, and beach are good.

Went hiking on the Hidden Creek trail with my husband. It's a nice trail to hike. However, on alltrails, the map is different from the marked trail. you cannot follow alltrails map. you have to follow the marker. Some areas are not marked very well. could be better well maintained in some areas. Make sure to wear boots as some areas are extremely muddy. Overall wasn't bad for a nice hike after work.

we took north trail at the fork and could get only to a location where the trail gets lowest and closest to the lake. after weeks of raining many parts of trail were flooded but stepping stones helped lot until the spot where the trail was impassable. we had to return after merely 1.6 mile :( As we were getting closer to the lake we could notice more trash ( as described by other hikers. The lake is full of floaties, pool noodles etc etc. Along the trail we saw plastic bags full of "party trash" like plastic cups or plates. And yes, clothes, shoes, towels were not the unusual view. Besides all these additions, the trail itself is great and steep.

Ran hidden creek, great loop. At times a little over grown and not well maintained but for the most part the park appears very well kept. Lots of trail markers and maps whenever the trails meet/diverge

great for bikeing and walking

We've walked all trails birding and with our 2 Labs. Best place for water loving pups, the cedar creeks are very clean!

Kayaking Cedar Creek great time with friends.

Long hike- prepare for about 45 minutes with a real rough terrain. Well worth it once you get to the top!

fun pond to hang out at. easy hike

Nice trail. Only saw one other hiker on a Saturday. The trail markings around the camp grounds were confusing. The trail runs immediately to the left of the privy. Other than that it was was marked

on The Pine Barrens

A very relaxing hike that shows the death and rebirth of a forest after a forest fire. It is amazing seeing black, charred bark on the pine trees with new bright green shoot sprouting. The contrast is striking and it is a humbling observation understanding the power and nature cycle of a forest fire.

Great bike trail for weekend mountain bikers. Great scenery, some elevation, couple jumps. There are 4-5 different trails that intertwined and can make for a more serious mountain bike run. Great visitors center!

Decent amount of elevation for a local hike. Only a few others out on a sunny mid April day. We’ll be back.

Nice long trail in the wooded Pine Barrens at Basto Village area...I started the trail heading west through the village and up the left side of the lake which is yellow orange blazed and turns to yellow blazing about 2 miles into the trail we came to a water crossing with a sign that said trail closed seek alternate route...if you follow the orange blazes along the stream you’ll see the steam gets smaller and we found a downed tree to cross...we followed the yellow trail up through the designated camping sites ( which has a well water pump) cut across the nature trail blazed green which could be hard to see if not paying attention....followed the green blazed to pink which turns you south heading back to Batsto village we followed pink a couple miles to the lake side trail blazed white which gives u good over looks of the lake and will take you back into batsto village

Had a good Sunday hike at this local park. Flat and easy but only a few others on the trail. Not a great time of year for scenery (early April).

great location. swarms of bugs in the warmer months.

A hidden Gem. I’ve lived with 30 Mins of this hike for over 20 years. Recently my cousin and I went and hiked the white trail. It travels through multiple ecosystems and has some older growth cedar glens (not very common in this area). There are good elevation gains in section. The design of the trail is outstanding. Traffic on the trail was light. I would be surprised if you see any trash on the trails very pristine and well maintained. Only gripe was dog owners pick up there poo!

For a local trail I was pretty impressed.
