Nice scenery but a little crowded at times

Really enjoyed this easy hike.
Definitely looking forward to doing it again.
The falls are amazing when you are standing in the mist.

unreal views at the top. we did the trek in 2 days but more experienced hikers can do it in one. the last half mile around the scree was brutal but well worth it

I went there for the sunset, it's the best for the light (I even saw a rainbow!) and I was almost alone. The smoke is not a problem there even though it was all around.
The view from look out is as beautiful as from the foot of the waterfall.

Beautiful nature!

Fantastic! Picked this hike because we got an Airbnb at Mount Washington and it was close by. Got really lucky because this was beautiful! Not too challenging though and absolutely breathtaking. Got to come back and see the area around it someday. The ridge above Moat Lake is beckoning.

Gorgeous hike. Some steep and slippery sections and a great view on the way and at the summit. Went with the kids, it was a bit hard for the 6 year old but she managed with an occasional piggy back ride!! Glad we wore good hiking/running shoes.

Great scenery, well maintained trail. The climb from Whitehorn campsite to Emperor Falls can be tiring with a heavy pack. For light pack carriers or day trippers it is considerably easier.
My 12 year old managed easily with a 27 lb pack.
The falls are worth the effort though they are magnificent!
After that all the trails to Marmot, Berg, Rearguard, or Robson are pretty flat so it is an easy hike from there on.
Great hike, beautiful country!

good for stretching or walking your dog on a long trip.

Great trail with a waterfall and railway trestle bridge. Poor signage-helps to take a pic of the nap at the start. To get to the waterfall follow the stream bed. Wear running/hiking shoes.

We love this hike. It is pretty easy, quick and has great views.

Amazing hike, do it every year, it is busy on weekends and I recommend visiting second peak as first peak is usually full

hard trail , but worth the effort GORGEOUS views . Went with my 13 yr old son and our 2 dogs :-)

Hard trail but the view is amazing!

amazing views. top end of moderate but not too long. great experience sitting in top of what is basically a massive bolder.

Casual stroll through the forest until you reach the falls, where there is a short, steep section. Little effort for large reward. Did this hike late evening so decided not to explore below the falls but there seems to be lots more trail to explore.

Hiked on 8/11 despite the fog and chance of rain. We traveled from California and couldn’t reschedule our trip, so decided to go for it and expected no views. The trail itself is very well maintained and well marked with great signs! Scenery was beautiful despite the overcast weather. Terrain is varied so no chance of boredom. We decided to do a loop from the parking lot up through Taylor Meadows, up to Panorama Ridge, then down to Lake Garibaldi and back to the switchbacks (since we couldn’t see the lake from the ridge). This was about 30km/20 miles. The climb was steady and not too difficult, and the rock scramble to the summit was exhilarating. Bummer the summit was socked in by fog but still felt accomplished by making it to the top!! We stopped many times for breaks, photos, and lunch so it took us 10 hours. I would definitely do it again if I return to Canada.

A few steep sections and some loose rock, but it is a well maintained trail. Nice views at the top and you can take several little side trails around the back side to make a longer loop. Easy to find your way around, especially w this app:)

Best highway rest stop ever. used it to get the kid to stretch their legs and saw some pretty rocks at the same time.

Holy smokes this hike is incredible! This was our first backcountry camping trip. I wouldn’t consider this a difficult hike however there is one section of 4km uphill which is tough when you’ve got a heavy bag on your back. Even though it was a little smokey Kinney Lake was breath taking, emperor falls was insane and Berg lake was unbelievable. We couldn’t hike Mumm Basin or toboggan falls due to a rock slide so went out to Snowbird Pass which actually left us speechless. A long old hike but the Icefield was like being on another planet. I’m so keen to go back next summer before wildfires hit.

Some people were hiking out to berg lake and back just a one day. With an early start and reasonably fast pace I feel that it is do able.

Absolutely loved this hike. Beautiful views. Great campsites. There are about 5km on your way up that are challenging to say the least but all worth it once you see the glacier and the lake!

We completed Nitnaht narrows North to Bamfield which is considered the easiest half of this challenging trail. Beautiful views and challenging ladders. Great campsites with plentiful fresh water.

Perfect for kids of any age.

Awesome and tiring hike, a little easier as a day trip while camping at garibaldi lake. Go early as parking is insane on the weekend. Class 3 scramble to the false summit on loose rock so be careful. Class 5 to the actual summit and looks sketchy.

Incredible hike, we stayed at Garabaldi lake campground so we hiked the nine kilometres prior to the ridge hike. The ridge hike itself from the campground was 7km one way and it was rewarded with incredible views. the majority of the hike is pretty straight forward but the last part of the hike is a steep scramble. 100% worth it !!

FYI. We tried but logging roads are closed due to extreme fire hazard so we couldn't get up to trail head.

Amazing!!! I booked myself in for 6nights. Don’t need that many I left after 4 nights . Pack what you need !! I packed way to much but used it all. Traps and hoodies. I went July 27-August 1 beautiful weather. The black flys bite hard worse than the mosquitos. Trail all the way to robin pass. Amazing. Did snow bird pass amazing again !!
Fill up after white horn on your way to emperor falls there’s no water for 4km. Pack up early leave early to get a camping spot especially at emperor falls there’s only 7 pads. The trail isn’t overall hard. Hardest part was hiking up to emperor falls. Only cause my pack was too heavy. After emperor falls it’s smooth sailing. The views are to die for. Loved every turn and moment.

Don’t miss checking out Niagra falls before heading up to the trail. It really is beautiful. Crossing the bridge is quite a rush! - Further on there is a second trestle bridge and beyond that a tunnel. It all made for a great afternoon.
