Beautiful trail but get ready for lots of steep up and downs. Also about 5 miles.
Scenic views of the coastline & Golden Gate. Moderate trail, but super crowded + not much scope for social distance.
Beautiful trail with stunning views. The trail used to be a highway, so it’s pretty wide and there’s lots of space— easy to maintain distance. We’ve been here multiple times, and the coastal views are just amazing.
Endless steep hills going up and down. Not very many switchbacks. Definitely a good workout!
A bit longer than stated. I would recommend doing the French trail section first as that part is harder/steeper. Really lovely and shaded.
Beautiful redwoods, peaceful trails.
Great trail, lots of views and very busy trail
Great ups and downs that have rest between the steepest parts.
Great trail. Lots of stairs. A lot of people but no one crowded your space
Awesome scenery. Nice moderate hike. It gets crowded on the weekends n
Great!!
Great! Lighthouse was closed. Additional parking up at the hostel
Hard level
I love the bay and this is one of the places I remember the most vividly. It’s beautiful and peaceful even amidst so many visitors. Ok, the parking is a little insane and totally worth it. I’d gone in April and there were so many flowers. Waking off the beating path provided ocean views from the cliffs where you stood. It would be obnoxious for me to share my entire recall of my day at Marin Headlands.
Super easy, paved trail! Beautiful!
