Walked trail from Annie's playground about 2 miles out. My kiddos tired quickly. Beautiful playground and great paved trail. Nice mix of walkers and bikers. Many families, couples and singles were out and about.

nice ride. beautiful scenery and the bikers are friendly and respectful

Great trail for kids and pets. Biking is also very good.

To beat the heat the wife and I waited until the evening to ride. Being a senior, it's hard to deal with the mid-day heat. We were lucky enough to have a cool breeze. We started at Marley Station Mall because of it being late and we didn't have to worry about being in a gated parking lot that would close at 7:45 PM. We looped thru the Kinder Farm Park then returned back. Our best breeze was within the park because of the shade trees. I also noticed that people also park it the LA. Fitness center. The trail has multi parking locations so do a little research and plan ahead.

Lovely walk. Only did the first chunk from Savage park to Guillford, but looking forward to doing the rest soon! Pretty popular though so there were a lot of people on the trail. Also wasn't a huge fan of the sections that ran and crossed over a major road

Well maintained, very easy stroll that goes for several miles. Great for dogs and bicycles.

With the weather being so iffy it's tough to make a decision. It rained overnight and my favorite trails were muddy. The sky is gray and looks like it's going to rain. Today, I decided to HIKE a short loop of my own. I don't like hiking out and back type trails. I always think about shelters if hiking in bad weather. The only problem I have here is that I am a Senior and it can get very hot in the summer. - Not a whole lot of shaded.

Goes for miles.. Beautiful trail

Great trail for a walk or bike ride. Less secluded than the MD side of the trail but better for people that may want to stop at a cafe or pub along the way. Check out Bonkey's for an ice cream break in the New Freedom section.

I've been taking my puppy here for awhile- nice walk and hike. Easy to get down to the patuxent river for him to cool down. A lot of runners and dogs - overall very peaceful.

Nice flat trail for cruising

Nice trail. First time, but we will be back.

Im from Chicago, I travel for work and am always looking for a good running trail near me, and this is the one. I discovered the trail one night after lifting weights at the LA fitness and discovered the B&A trail runs right behind the gym, so I only ran 3 miles towards a mall where I saw a Sears store. Great trail, you will see cyclists and locals walking/ jogging trail. Very quiet and flat with a few hills.

Love love this trail!! It’s my happy place!! Beautiful & peaceful. You can walk with a friend, jog, bike ride, even horseback! Neat things to see along the way & beautiful nature!!!

Flat, open road for running at pace. Some foot and bike traffic, but plenty of room for all. Very scenic and shaded throughout. Porta-potties! ample parking at numerous spots along the route.

This trail is ideal for mountain biking. There are alot of abrupt stops and inclines and the trail towards Lake Elkhorn is mostly gravel and mud. I had to stop and turn around because it was too muddy for my bike.

Loved this trail. Beautiful, tranquil walk that follows the river. The falls area is gorgeous with some great spots for catching a dip. So many trails will definitely go back.

Easy traveling, this is my go-to trail for riding. Beautiful scenery and plenty of stopd, if needed. Sometimes gets a bit crowded but always enjoyable.

It’s a nice short ride. Perfect for after work before you catch the sun before it sets. Nice scenery riding along the lake and some historic ruins to pass by and swinging bridge.

My first and 2nd favorite trail for cycling. Was nervous about riding so close to traffic but its not bad at all.

Very, very nice trail

Took my road bike on this one (Fuji roubaix pro).. there are about 15-25 crosses between the trail and the road.. rarely have to stop.. some very slight inclines but mostly flat... also, you have the option of getting to Annapolis, but you you’d have to be willing to get off the bike trail and go onto a highway (something I gave up on lol) ; parking
is available and plentiful at the designated start spot( near bwi) and wasn’t too crowded during the weekday and around noon..

not very shaded and very urban. I hike to get away but not a bad tune up for a long hike.

Fresh

I want to do this hike with my friend, but we will need 2 cars. One at each end because we plan on doing the whole hike one way. Where do you park at on the southern end?

Very nice trail, lots of wild life. Trails are not clearly marked, map was also confusing.
