was our first time here and we really enjoyed it. we rode mt. bikes and will hike it next time for sure. We were surprised it wasn't as muddy as we thought it would be.

I would have given it a 5, but the view at the top was not very clear. the trail itself is beautiful and not too difficult. beautiful ferns and rivers throughout the hike. saw some cool mushrooms. overall good hike. would love to do it again.

Scenic Hike. Gorgeous views at the top.

Very busy during the summer. Parking can be scarce and you can be waiting in choke point in the trail for a few minutes waiting for people to pass through.

Great trail! Started hike at about 8am! Great amount of people on trail. About an hour up and hour back. After 9:30am, trail got really busy!

Fantastic view on top. Except the last mile, the rest is moderate.

If you like rush hour traffic on the trail, this is the one for you. Considering what the Pacific Northwest has to offer in this area, the trail itself was rather boring with little to no views the entire way up. The view at the top is pretty great and the color of the lake was neat, but be prepared to shuffle through tourists as well as locals and good luck getting a spot on the cliff to take in the view (which was basically 50+ people taking selfies). You're better off going the extra clip to the very top to get away from the crowds, but even then it was pretty busy. It was good to spend a nice day outside with the great weather, but won't be doing this trail again.

Was a beautiful and moderate to hard hike. Definitely a little more challenging but not that bad if you’re a usual hiker. Went with 2 people that don’t usually hike from Texas and they had a little bit of a hard time but did it with breaks in between. There’s absolutely no snow at the top, so don’t believe that. Micro spikes would be completely pointless. Beautiful view at the top, but really doesn’t open up until you’re at the top. Worth it.

Great Trail, Great View

Mt Si was a brutal beast yesterday 4/21. So much beauty at the top. My health tracker documented 10 miles. No snow on the ground. Great training hike for Mt St Helens. Will be back!

Great moderate hike. Went 2 months ago and brought my 7&9year old. Just watch them at the top! Beautiful scenery!

Was there yesterday, beautiful hike! No need for spikes, very light snow cover at the top but very manageable in sneakers or boots. Perfect day hike to celebrate earth day!

nice but very very muddy. still an enjoyable hike, easy, limited elevation,.well marked.

Incredible views of Rainier at the top! Great hike, great workout, fun to see the paragliders launch at the top!

Hiked on Thursday. First of all BEAUTIFUL trail and everyone is so nice and there were so many dogs ON LEASHES TOO! It’s a toughy for me at least and my back started giving my trouble at 3.5miles but I knew I had to keep going. Brought my spikes but didn’t use them for the last bit, just took it nice and slow. I’ll be back

Did it back in December and the views were worth the climb up. Very moderate.

Way to many people but a decent hike

Awesome trail. Great rewarding view at top. A little bit crowded during midday. Lots of unleashed dogs.

Nice hike through the woods, steep grade, but not too difficult. Beautiful View at the top. Well worth the effort.

Sooooo much fun. still needed micro-spikes for the last mile in the snow and ice. Simply gorgeous. The old growth Douglas fir trees are beautiful neat the mid-way point.

4/20/2018 (Monday) - A pleasant hike in a warm spring afternoon, mostly cloudy. The trail is in good condition, solid, no bug, no mud, no uncleared falls, light traffic, quiet. The creek still runs with profuse water. Fresh leaves remain tiny buds, so the canopy is widely open in many parts. I determine to hike this trail at least once a year like Poo Poo Point, as this is an ideal warm-up before more challenging hikes on the Cascades.

Quick drive from Seattle. The view is fantastic. Expect to see at least another twenty hikers at the lookout.

I did this hike a year ago and it was a good one. Beautiful, challenging and well kept. There seems to be snow into spring so dress accordingly, I had to learn the hard way with this hike but it was well worth it! Make sure you are in good shape to finish this hike so you can finish it in a timely manner!

absolutely beautiful hike. im out of shape, thus the beginning was tough...but so worth it

Decent highly trafficked hike, parking area can reach capacity rather quickly. Trail is fairly wide and flat for the majority of the journey.

Light rain the whole time. Well marked trail, friendly folks and close enough to the city to get an aggressive training hike.

Amazing views and challenging at times.

Great trail, easy, nothing too difficult. Great views of the lake. Ive never hiked in the area so this was very nice surprise, the Trees and vegetation, plus the wildlife made it perfect. Very little mud, but bring shoes with grip. $10 per day for parking, dogs on leash. Moderate trail for younger kids, but worth it. On the north side trail there was a sign for aggressive owl but didnt see it. If you take the trail clockwise the inclines are easier

Bridle Veils is not bad, go on ahead to the Lake to make it worth it.

A great challenge and beautiful view! I did not need crampons at the top after Monday’s sunny day it was mostly melted and slushy.
