I run this trail frequently. Fairly easy terrain. Not much shade in the summer. Porta-potties at trailhead. Also note: no dogs allowed on or off leash.

Great for Rollerblading if you’re into that! Bike riding is fun but watch for shifted concrete slabs. Some are risen from the land to the point to where you could bump one too hard! Other then that, a wonderful trail through the woods.

Open, well-marked, right in Austin.

This is a great trail to ride your trail bike, but beware of dogs off leash. One ran in front of my bike last year and I crashed and broke my arm in the fall. Other than that, I highly recommend this one for bike riding.

I live near this park so I walk my dogs here, take my grandson to the playground area, and even swim in the city pool during the summer. An added bonus are the trails that cut through the center of the park for a more secluded walk.

A go to trail. Runners and walkers: be careful. The trail is tight in sections and high speed mountain bikes and horses frequent this trail. Be careful!

So there's a lot more to this trail than just the 1.5 mile loop. I got pretty lost on my first time here as there are really no mile markers around. Wasn't too bad because it's pretty much completely shaded. Many parts of the trail are very narrow and you might have to step aside to let people go by you so keep your eyes peeled. Be sure to bring water. They don't have any fountains at the park from what I could see. Also wear shoes with good support, lots of rocks and branches. All in all, cool neighborhood spot to go if you live in the area!

Not a bad hike for just outside Austin downtown. Only did the 3.5 portion and cut at the bypass because I was running in 104 degrees. Not difficult but not a lot of shade so avoid during high sun in summer if you can.

Good fast entry level trail. The trails are frequently closed during and after significant rain to prevent damage to the trail system. No pets allowed.

This is a beautiful trail. I'll definitely come back out here.
There's very little parking which is irritating but it helps to keep the number of people on the trail low.

The park is open again. it doesn't really have trails so much as sidewalks. Plenty of parking, covered areas, playgrounds, grills. Nice park!

These are great trails for walking the dogs, it's easy to escape and walk trails with little signs of the city around. Very nice city escape.

good mix of technical and fast track. I prefer more elevation change and some sections washing out. Still an all around fun ride.

It's been maybe two years since I hiked this loop. I remember that it was full sun and that no dogs were allowed although I do believe that equestrians are allowed.

Flat n easy with two kids in a stroller. Not enough windmills, fireworks or trampolines to earn 5 stars.

Fabulous trails through the woods. Walk on the granite path to the end but come back on the well worn foot paths through the beautiful trees! Beautiful!

While there are a few rocky patches spread out along the trail that can prove troublesome if one isn't careful, the majority of the trail serves as a smooth and winding tour of a small section of Texas hill country.

Walked this trail for the first time in about 12 years. Well maintained, not crowded, but a good bit of people out. Friendly, easy, laid back after work trail.

Easy loop. Lovely Sunday afternoon run/hike. A bit rocky in parts, overall very mellow.

Rocky trail--wear proper boots. My favorite because it is close to my home and not crowded! Some hikers and bikers go the wrong way though (the signs are small). THANKS to bikers who really YIELD to hikers. However, about 1/3 of the bikers I meet don't blink and eye and expect me to yield to them!
Bikers YIELD to HIKERS !!!!!
