REWARD: We lost our pup Saturday 11/17 hiking here. He unfortunately was off lease and was chased by another off leash dog. He is a small brown doxie mix, about 11#s. His name is Winston and he is very skittish around people. If you see him please contact 512-758.3126.

It was my favorite place to hike and bring my dog to swim until someone decided they needed to break into my vehicle. So take your valuables and keep your eyes open. I won't be back. fwiw I was parked right next to the road and it was early on a Sunday day of all times....

Great track, pretty quiet and lots of fun little spots to explore.

Lots of steps. Narrow path so lots of stopping to let people pass

today, trail was a bit muddy from last night's rain. well worth the time.

Perfect for running on/off trail options. Bikers are always polite and either ring a bell or say something to give a heads up. Most even let you know when a group passes who’s the last one or how many are in the group. Dog meet ups and play dates created with amazing people. Just love this place.

Go away! Best 'hard' hike in Austin. If you include panther hollow trail (Big View entrance) it is 3 mi each direction. 1700+ altitude change with 2736+ stairsteps through a shaded ravine following a creek along lower area. Do your share by carrying out a bit more trash than you came with a smile.

Pleasant walk. Pretty short, but gorgeous views of the lake. Nice for a quick little scenic stroll.

Great hike, nice elevation changes, beautiful scenery and well marked (which is a luxury in Austin). Highly recommend for a moderate and fun trail.

The trail is very well kept and marked. We went on a Saturday so it was very crowded. Lots of dogs and most were not on leashes. The trail is pretty narrow the whole way so we spent a lot of time stepping off the trail to allow runners to go by. The creeks were high due to the rain but the trail had chain to help you walk across the rocks without slipping. Definitely a hard trail with lots of steps. Great workout and beautiful scenery

Great trail for a good workout. Some good elevation changes, beautiful area, and not too crowded (so far).
Folks with dogs need to not only pick up after them but carry the waste to the disposal locations ... of course this is true throughout Austin area.

Fun hike!

Kristen and I came here on a Sunday morning after much rain. Creek was way up and beautiful and powerful. Great limestone flat areas and mini canyons with 8 ft deep water. Lots of dogs enjoying it.
Trail on both sides of creek was wet and narrow and confusing with so many offshoots.
The actual biull creek trail head is at beginning of parking lot. Thisntrail goes up a hill and gets away from flooding and confusion of creek side trails.
Lots of pretty yellow flowers.

enjoy the trail

This was my 3rd ever real trail to do. It was a blast but heed warning if your not a stairs person LOL. Took me 2:09 to finish, my group was proud I did finish!

Skill level: novice fat guy, hahaha

My first time on this trail was mid-October. The trail is mainly covered by trees which naturally created some wet areas to get around (but it was worth getting around them!) The trail ran alongside a river that had a lot of runoff- at the time. There were even rockwalls with trickling water dripping from the top.
Along the way were split trails. I took the path closest to the river, mainly taking lefts. After the first waterfall -about a mile(ish) or more in- the trail opened to a meadow of sunflowers. A little ways up, came another waterfall; much wider than the first. Lots of people swimming and playing in the sunshine. There were even kayakers paddling by at one point.
I was running and met up with a biker at the waterfall. I ended up passing them on the way back towards the end. It was well traveled and narrow. But the run way great! Enjoyed it and will most likely use it for another beautiful day!

Great views. Agree with the moderate rating but hubby says he’d rate it easy. The dog loved it. Slippery when wet!

Nice peaceful trail with scenic view, waterfall and creek. No pets allowed.

Great trail. I ran 4 miles and it was pretty tough. Be ready to put in some work if you are trail running

If you take the tire tracks down, the trail definitely gets tough. I had the pleasure of going on a foggy/drizzly day and the rocks were very slick. Definitely recommend having very grippy shoes on and waterproof wouldn't hurt either as one other trails traversed a creek. Will definitely be going back again and again.

Good parking in Mopac frontage at trailhead. There are no restrooms on the trail. Fairly easy with some rough rocky beginnings. Trail follows the creek. We passed 3 waterfall areas. Lots of water in the creek. Trail was well shaded. For a longer walk, continue on trail beyond Sculpture Falls.

Beautiful hike and creek. Easy for all ages. Also, dog friendly.

about 3 hours round trip hike along the creek there are steps, but not steep. Will do it again for exercise.

Beautiful trail with a lot of stimulus to keep your mind busy when running. There are parts that are very difficult and steep and it can be slippery when muddy. Heavily trafficked on the weekends

If you're looking for a long, challenging and lost in the woods trail, look no further. I went in there thinking it would take me 30 min, boy was I in for a surprise. It took me 2 hours and a half to complete the trail, and I walk kinda fast.
STICK TO YOUR RIGHT! You'll come at several forks, but if you stick to your right you'll be fine. An amazing trail, highly recommended.
