Amazing. A must see!

Had no idea there was still this much snow and would be so few people. only saw 2 people on the whole trail. had thought this was heavily traveled and never been to the area so went in hiking boots and sneakers. some parts of the trail leading to the lake were a foot or two deep if you step in the wrong spot. up at the lake you might drop 3 or 4. luckily someone had snow shoed before us so we tried to use their tracks but it was very slow going and lots of falling through. very hard to find the trail around the lake, which is still frozen over and covered in snow. it was surprisingly challenging with trekking through such deep snow.

this place was absolutely mind blowing though and so serene without anyone else around. best hike ever.

also note you need to park at snow bowl and walk half a mile on the fairly dangerous highway.

It was my first time in years sense I’ve been there. It was even more beautiful than I remember. It was my three dogs and myself that went. Found some pretty cool areas just around the falls as well. :)

Love love love this place!

Great hike. Easy. Dog friendly.

nice, easy hike in. no snow but a few spots of minor mud but ends with breathtaking view of the falls.

I hiked this with my chihuahua. She loved it, however, I had to pick her up on the catwalks. I’ve never seen so many waterfalls on one hike. I hiked this the day after Christmas and was the only car/person there. I found good sized piles of white fur on the trail. Have no idea what it was from, it was very coarse/thick...

Fantastic falls! Short hike with great payoff! Good for families (youngest is 10). Bring your camera!

Good family hike (youngest is 10) with a great payoff at the end. Only reason not 5 stars is that the trail had large sections of mud throughout. Not a big deal but it forced us to look down at our feet and not at the spectacular surroundings.

Did this hike on a whim. It was pouring rain and slippery on the rocks, but it was nice because everyone else was headed back. When I got to the pool, it literally took my breath away. This was a favorite and the pictures just don't do justice. The entire trail was so peaceful, lush and green- even without the pool it is worth it!

This trail is off the beaten path on the way to the Oregon coast, just off hwy 126 before Mapleton. With that said it still gets busy. I arrived at 9am and had the place to myself, but as I was leaving the small parking lot was filling fast. The trail is family friendly and fairly easy as you meander through older growth and ferns on a dry path. Along the way you find catwalks anchored directly into the rocks along the banks, with the river flowing just below as you walk.
With a few falls along the way and a great payoff falls at the end, this trail is worth a stop on your way to the coast.

The pool! Can climb down with rope. Stairs super well maintained. About 100 steps up and the same down. Clean, bathroom setting at trailhead. Went in March, no snow, not cold: just perfect weather. Tons of water.

Beautiful and lush bright green forests. Love the porous lava looking rocks along the trails and the blue pool is gorgeous! Wear hiking boots!! Stepping on a lot of rocks and unleveled ground, as well as very muddy in the spring.

Easy, pretty hike. Beautiful Oregon countryside and majestically blue pool at the end.

One of my favorite lil hikes. Overcrowded but still magical!!

Beautiful hike. Easy, well maintained.

One of my favorite short hikes. The falls and pool are beauriful. Be sure to go when the runoff is at its peak.

Beautiful hike - waterfalls throughout did not disappoint

Easy hike, and very beautiful. Went yesterday and got there at 6am, only saw a small group of people as we got back to our car. I recommend going early to beat the crowd. Quite a bit of snow still on the ground, but I managed to go through easily with a pair of nikes.

its a really nice trail for all ages with multiple ways to get there

We chose a beautiful day to snow shoe. Easy hike.

little slick

Beautiful, short hike over packed snow. Family friendly and definitely worth it. Expect snow until mid March.

Love this hike all year round! Snowshoed yesterday and after all the snow this past weekend the trail is gorgeous! Brought two dogs with me who also had a blast. Parked at skibowl and walked along the road to get to the trailhead, which isn’t ideal, but it’s well worth it!

easy to get to for a quick and easy walk. the falls are a nice place for a quick rest before turning around. looked like the trail went on although we didn't go past the falls. looked like a nice place for fishing along the trail and swimming just past the falls

Awesome hike. Soft on your feet and beautiful trees. The view of the pool is incredible from above. Really cold water. Heavy trafficked trail

Beautiful! Love the waterfalls! Definitely recommend!

Great hike but we parked at ski bowl, we weren’t sure if parking was closed or not by hike, some people parked there but there were no parking signs close.
We took of our snowshoes for most of the hike
